I noticed the subtier 3-4 is not crossed off. We played low tier, right?

I've lost a little of the plot due to my brief absence. We think these shirren are the ones who were doing the underground surgery that was turning people into zombies, right?

"Poor blob? I've heard of my fellow androids being disassembled by these things and turned into consumer goods. Terrifying," Chogas says, a little bit of emotion breaking through his stoic mien.

That Assembly ooze is f*@$ing nightmare fuel, man!

There's an easter egg in the forums that looks for patterns that match the name of these cartoon characters. It seems to have a very broad match, including misspellings and spanning multiple words.

Apparently "It's morph" triggers the little blue man easter egg.

I thought metagaming was discouraged? ;)

Is this scenario associated in particular with any of the factions?

Oh sweet, I thought that was a 1 or 20 to win.

October 1 should be fine for me since the special ended earlier than expected.

Do we have to have second seekers slotted this time to gain that extra rep?

Chogas sags down in his seat and activates his self-repair nanites. "Still they come." He reloads his cannon and checks his sword as he rests.

CHogas moves to a position where he can monitor both hallways and prepares to fire when he sees a target.

Chogas grunts slightly when he is impacted by the attack, showing no other sign of distress, and fires twice at the Jinsul.

I would prefer tactical combat but if everyone else wants starship combat I'll go with it.

A +4 Will isn't exactly an overwhelming modifier -- Chogas just seems to be resisting extremely well.

Culture untrained; mysticism trained: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 91d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 (Priest theme gives a reduction to the DCs of Culture and Mysticism checks by 5 when recalling knowledge about religious traditions, religious symbols, and famous religious leaders. So I think that mysticism roll may succeed on the second mysticism check?)

Chogas pulls out his reaction cannon, keeping it at his side, pointed down, but ready to move into attack position should it be necessary.

He raises an eyebrow at Sebrir, but decides as long as the truth is being told, they might as well go with it. "We are on a rescue mission. No aggression is intended, though we are prepared to defend ourselves if necessary."

I was saving RP for before, can I use one to recover SP and then get it back from the boost?

We have enough people for two gunners to fire each turn. We need to take those shots if we're positioned correctly! The additional speed wasn't necessary this turn.

Chogas flies the Drake again behind the enemy ship. "We have them in our sights."

Because the others are using the guns, I can't take a gunnery minor action this turn, I believe, right?

Piloting Initiative for round 2, taking 1/3 ship bonuses: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 8 + 1 = 23

Come on, who's on gunnery? Looks like Onda and Sebrir this turn? Use the +1s and let's fire! Then let's divert power to weapons next turn, since the shields are balanced. Maybe Onda could make an engineering check for turn 2 as well as a firing check.

With that boost, our speed is 10 this turn instead of 8. Moving 6 spaces as shown by the red arrow, turning 60 degrees, moving 4 spaces, and turning another 60 to face the foe. We should be able to fire our coilgun and our missile launcher.

Chogas fires the engines and pursues a wide, looping course to circle the enemy and aim at its starboard side.

Doesn't the engineering phase come before helm? I think we are using a Drake, right, so that gives us three floating +1s I think?

Any use to trying to hunt it down? Perception or survival?

"I'm worried about answering this. What if it's another virus, like the one that affected us on our approach to the last planet?"

Shouldn't be an issue. If necessary I can use a new character instead of one of my existing ones.
