Chaq stands ready to move in though rather than sword to mouth it will be the heavy head of his mace raised in a non subtle manner. Given his muscled frame he doubted anyone viewing the sight would try to overpower him.

The master of this house has been kidnapped by criminals who were masquerading as his staff upon our arrival in a cunning but futile rouse." "Using my keen situational awareness I heard one of the staff screaming, on account of being tortured by the vile ruffians, and we have just finished of disposing of them. We did lose some of our number." He looks down at the drow's corpse "She was slightly rude to me and had a poor grasp of common. No doubt if she has heeded my lead better she would have survived but it is no matter to worry over now. Given the circumstances with fake buttlers I must ask you, how can we know you are who you say you are?" He raises a scaly brow intently.

What might help is keeping the enemy on one initiative roll. So the first round you do those who beat the enemy in initiative, then resolve the enemies and then ALL the players get to act before the enemies next round if you get my meaning.

If Chaq can five foot step and cast cure light wounds on Rrath without getting attacked:
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 3 = 8 If Not Chaq Attacks: Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

If he is down after Rrath's turn Chaq will move up tot he next closest enemy.

I'm cool with that because Chaq's hurting but after healing Rrath he's only got one spell, more when the level up is good. I'm holding onto the last spell as it could be a life saver but a solid blow could take him down currently. If we do level up and he still has the spell slot can I cast it on someone to bring up their hit points.

Seeing as the only bad guy going before me in initiative is taking a nap... Chaq advances into the midst of his foes swinging his mace. "We deal with these ones swiftly and rescue the people being tortured... there might just be a demon waiting to be smote in my near future after all."
