Celewen says a great many things, interjecting parts of the story that most would consider boring and unimportant. Despite being a part of the story telling, he does not add anything important. He does, however, elaborate on how brave, smart, powerful, and generally awesome the rest of the party was during the dangerous parts of the story.

Posting my action early. If the only monsters we see are in the room (ie, not attacked from behind) and Kaepora isn't paralized, then Celewen will cast Enlarge Person on Kaepora, just as he gets into the room. "Go get'em, BigBird!"

Peaking around from behind the others, the little Halfling pipes up. "You appear to be very calm. If that throne means this is your kingdom, then you know that we have destroyed most of it already. Are you attempting to parlay to keep yourself alive or are you so confident in your abilities that you still feel we are not a credible threat?" Waxing meta, I assume we are supposed to wack this guy, but I'm perplexed as to why it is talking to us. Does it have a clue we need? After a moment, he asks another question. "What are you even doing here? What was that blob in the previous room? What are you hoping to accomplish here, knowing that most organizations like the Pathfinders would most likely send a party to destroy you once they knew of your existence?"

"Yes, Kaepora, I believe we should hold off on any digging until we know nothing else is going to sneak up on us. That wouldn't be fun. Nope. Nope. Nope. We'd all have our backs to the room while we dug. And we'd be making so much noise, we wouldn't hear them. They'd be on us before we even knew they were there." Hearing Pai's question, he turns to face the big pile of yuck. "I was wondering the same thing. How do we even know if something like that is alive or dead or undead? Just because it isn't attacking us, that doesn't mean it isn't just waiting until we are alseep before it oozes its way over and absorbs us. Sheeze, what a way to die. Having a nice dream about planting daffodils in the little garden under the front window of your home and then everything goes dark. You cannot breath. You wake but cannot see. Something is on top of you, keeping you from moving." He shudders. "I think I've had dreams like that before. The elders said there was nothing holding me down, but I swear it felt like there was." At that, his face turns grim. He loads up another magic stone and hurls it at the giant blob, waiting for something to happen. The happy little halfling sticks his tongue out at the stone after hearing Aroden's words. "Sorry Mr. Signpost, we are not going to listen to your warning. We shall avoid your dark magics and proceed to our doom, unafraid" When we get to the tree, Celewen looks at the tree to see if there is anything lurking in it. Then he looks down the shaft. Is it straight down (ie, we'll need climbing gear) or is it sloped? Regardless, before Dragall ventures into the gloom, Celewen casts light on a round pebble (causing the light on his foot to go out) and tosses it down the shaft. Celewen hits himself with his own wand of mage armor. He then casts Longstrider on himself (speed=40 now). Following that, he casts Message and points to the rest of the party so that we can keep in constant communication if something bad happens. Finally, he casts light on his left foot (and will renew it when it expires) to add to the rest of the party's light.

The usually joyful halfling waxes somber for a moment with a sigh, "Why must people always blame the messenger? Do they not realize that he or she has just completed what was most likely a long journey at great personal cost in order to deliver that message? And even if the journey was a pleasant one, that is no reason to stab me, or throttle me, or try to burn me alive!" He looks up in surprise at his own little tirade. [b]"That's not what happened there... Obviously... But so often it is... Just saying... Ya know..." He trails off, trying to separate himself from the sudden tension by looking out the window. A cheerful halfling enters the room and greets the others. "Greetings and salutations! What grand adventures shall we have today?" From outward appearances, he is clearly a priest of Desna (goddess of luck and travel), except that he wears only padded armor. Also, he has an excessive number of wands sticking out of his backpack. As he bops around the room, he is unaffected by any shifting of the floating lodge upon the water. He makes the rounds, excitedly shacking each pathfinder's hand and introducing himself. "Hi, I'm Celewen. Glad to meet you!"
