Someone mentioned mythic spell perfection in the thread. Can someone point it out, I assume its a third party feat as I cannot find it anywhere.

Another thing to consider is that our characters do not need to be able to deal with everything and that is a good thing. This isn't a solo campaign. We want to interact and depend on each other. If we all could deal with everything on our own, then this campaign becomes a dick measuring context.

Qeetan is great in combat, but she'll need others for magical stuff, some extraordinary social skills or knowledge, etc. If you are completely shut down by antimagic field, no problem, because a teammate might be able to help you. This is all part of the show.

While technically true there is always going to be an element of this as at this level its hard not to be hyper competent in multiple areas.

I would be curious about how well Candraphon performed in any playtest.

My working assumption is just that, HD = CR.

I have assumed that templates add to CR.

@Cronossuss:

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense to me. Candraphon has gone through a lot of change over his long life.

The strange entity turns to regard Cronossuss, And people call me mad! it utters in an entirely deadpan voice.

Lurker in Darkness

Ooh, I like this one, taking it over Dampen Presence.

The building creaks and groans as if a mighty weight were pushing down on it. Suddenly, a gate of roiling black energy forms to one side of the stage. Where it touches the floor the boards begin to buckle and age, rotting away. A figure emerges from within, tall and gaunt, swathed in tattered black robes with a white porcelain mask covering its face. Its hands are covered with rune marked white gloves leaving no part of it directly visible. The body somehow seems to writhe beneath its outer coverings.

A voice, sepulchral and harsh, ushers from within, Don't mind me, please, play on, I have heard that your music is...sublime.

The figure floats towards the bar, some beetles and other scuttling things dripping from beneath its robe as it passes. Several patrons flee at his approach, some faint dead away. He flicks a bag on coin onto the bar. Drinks for everyone, my treat, he says, turning to see who is left watching the performance.

Candraphon is now mostly done, I bought some wishes are per the comment from our GM above and changed up some gear. He has 28k left to spend which I will hold on to in case of emergency Miracle requirements.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Candraphon is terribly sad to have been overlooked...

stuff about background skills

I had thought you were using them, I can change easily enough.

Have to say that this is proving to be very enjoyable in making this character. Godwyn is slowly taking shape...

Race: Grigori Angel
Class 1: Champion of the Cause Paladin
Class 2: Incanter
Boon of the Storied Monster x2: Grigori Paragon

Still have to work out some of the details. But he's mostly there. Brute+Open Hand Sphere, with huge focus on life sphere. He's turned out to be an amazingly effective healer.

Looks like you are 2 points over the stat cap on Strength. Looks really interesting.
Thank you for catching that (and for taking a look)! With this many rules there is bound to be something missed.

I took another look at him and it looks like you are missing another Mythic feat. We get one at Tier 1 plus two bonus feats for a total of three. I only see Mythic Vital Strike and Improved Mythic Vital Strike unless I am missing something.

He is starting to come together. I still have a lot of gold to spend and am struggling to find things to spend it on. I have hit my crafting limit so I may leave it for Miracle components.
