I got interested in 40K by way of the Horus Heresy line of books and the 2nd edition Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. The grim darkness of the 41st millenium appealed to me in a way no other setting has. Now as to my intended character, will you allow a wolf-priest into the game and use of distinctions and deeds?

"I think the comms uplink may be are our best option of contacting the magos though the magos may be in the main refining facility so going to the comms uplink may just be a redundancy. The heavy bolters, on the other hand, are inoperative, while 2 servitors appear to be guarding the comms uplink."
Calculus relays through vox the information he obtains to his battle brothers as soon as he has them. "I suspect, Brother Solar, that our missing magos is in the main refining facility. Only one versed in the mysteries of the Mechanicum can access the security information contained here. On the other hand, I suspect that xenos infiltrators may still be in the Workers' Blockhouse." Calculus tries to make an auspex scan of the entire facility, and this time he connects his MIU, looking for unusual energy patterns given off by tech-priest implants. Tech-use 1d100 ⇒ 15 5 degrees of success at least.
