I did a couple. Battletech and Shadowrun were great Mechwarrior online, not so much, though I certainly got my money worth. Star Citizen certainly looks like it's going well but it quickly outpscced my internet and computer capabilities. Also as I said I am pretty much limited to turn based these days due to children.

How dare you put POE in the same sentence as Baldurs Gate! I kid, Pillars was pretty OK. I really liked the Cypher before they nerfed it. Maybe I should play it again... In a seedy tavern in an even seedier part of town Brock lays passed out on a tavern table, spilled beer and drool forming puddles by his face. Normally in an establishment like this a passed out drunk would be a perfect target for robbery, kidnap or murder but this particular drunk has gained such a vile reputation for retribution for simply waking him, let alone attempting to rob him that even the most desperate ruffian wouldn't dream of trying. In fact, the wrath of Brock is a common boogeyman thieves use to scare other thieves with. All at once, the tavern is rocked by a mighty bump, dishware and mugs rattling with the force. The barkeep and patrons look in shock and horror as the drunk snaps awake, hidden dagger ready to rend and tear as he looks around blearily. "Huh, whazzat? Who wantsh fo die?" Seeing nothing of note in the tavern, he shakes his head and mutters, "probably that damn fool Danicka miscasting a spell, or fainting." Now officially "up" for the day, Brock glares at the barkeep and roars. "Barkeep, bring rum. And beef. Gods help you if you try to pass off horsemeat as beef again!" seven edits later I am ready to strangle my autocorrect

Perusing the rulebook (looks good and the rules seem easy enough to transfer) I am shocked thry got away with the picture of the "snub nose scattergun" as it looks like it was pulled right from Mass Effect. I like the whole no iteratives setup, those always annoyed me after level 10 or so. I think I'll probably go with some type of mercenary/soldier Rifleman switch hitter. The lizard guys seem cool, but I'm leaning towards android maybe "I need your clothes your boots and your motorcycle"

Sorry Danicka, Brock is gonna... go in a different direction Brock follows the group and is pleasantly surprised (flabbergasted, really) at the skill and ease with which Danicka navigated the disease and vermin filled jungles to their destination. Seeing the looters in front of them Brock's smile takes on all the warmth of flint as he sizes the trio up. Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 Hearing Danicka attempt to appeal to the groups survival instincts he casually holds his musket not quite pointed at the lead lady and adds. "No, please, try to fight. I want to see what loot I can pull from your corpse." intimidate: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 If necessary (or possible) Brock will use Dazzling Display from the Braggart cavalier feature. Turns out I didn't realize I get a +2 to hit demoralized foes too, gotta remember that

When Arin approaches with his wand, Brock instead holds his own out, to save the magic of the gnomes own healing wand. "save your chagres in case we need them in battle." he says with a smile. Once the party is stabilized he wanders back to his blind to retrieve and reload his musket, in case other predators or scavengers smell all the blood and come wandering by.
