Any place is okay with Bocke. Garrison has Diplomacy, which is a skill Bocke actually has, but haunted shore is cool, too.

Well, one of the problems that Bocke, at least (and I suspect others) cannot make 80% of these checks. Off the top of my head, I think my best skill is +6, and it doesn't apply to every section we visit.

I agree that at some point we need to do a calculation on whether it's better for a few of us to be running these skill checks or whether we should attempt to move on to the evacuation, even if it's harder (for having skipped the checks) because we get more time.

I keep forgetting that Haste also affects movement. XD 90% of the time it's the extra attack that's valuable.

Bocke doesn't have much Diplomacy or Knowledge, so I can putz around but when it comes to rolling dice, Bocke doesn't have much to contribute.

I enjoyed the game a lot as well, and normally I wouldn't mind the length, but it's the holidays here so it's end of year rush for work, and of course there's tons of family stuff. And in the past, I've done exactly what I said - gone back and re-read the whole game from the beginning and post my notes - but ... just not right now.

GM, can I request that you be more proactive about pushing us along?

Frankly, we're heading into a busy time of year for many, and it's already been long enough that I couldn't even remember Mazzer Thrent's name without looking it up.

I have no idea who S.E. is. If it's important that we know, encourage us with a hint or something. If it's not important, then push us along, as you can tell from the past few mysteries, there's not likely going to be a lot of back and forth in a PbP game.
