Marc Radle wrote: What does the phrase 'pull aggro' even mean? "Pulling Aggro" is a largely MMO term. Most MMO's have three types of characters, or Toons. The tank (keeps mobs on him), DPS (kill the mobs), and healers (heal the tank and rest of the party/raid) Each toon gains a nominal amount of threat depending on the abilities they use. That threat builds until they surpass the tank, whereupon the mob(s) move to the highest threat in the group and try to kill it. Tanks usually have threat building abilities and at least one "taunt" ability (if not more). Taunting is used when someone other than the tank "pulls aggro" (draws the attention of the mob(s)). Typically the DPS will have one threat-reducing ability so that they do not draw the attention of the mob(s). Successful use of threat-dropping ability is highly desired. Healers can also have a threat reducing ability which should be used in raids. The importance of threat reducing abilities and taunts are critical in Raids, where the mobs are usually tougher and the bosses can sometimes one-shot toons other than tanks.

Bolded: The first post of the OP indicates that Player A has said that in general, apparently to many people with whom he has cut ties. Not specifically to Person T. Player A may have also said those things about Person T (which is very poopy if it happened) but we have gone from some generalizations about people who haven't got their act together, to the specific argument between A and T.

The thing is, it sounds like Person T is dragging everyone through her land mine/barbed wire field of agony each and every week. Without progress. It just keeps starting at the same point and going from there every week without fail. Everyone has their own personal tolerance level for this sort of stuff. After a certain point someone is bound to say "Enough". Could Player A have been more "sensitive"? Probably. Could Person T be one of those soul sucking vampires who moan and groan about all their problems and try to drag everyone around them into their pit of misery (and also happens to be T as well)? Also just as likely. Game time should be for game. Not therapy.

Trevor was a quiet, but highly intelligent child. The only child of noted scientist and researcher Dr Edwin Reece Campbell, and Marjorie (nee Franklin) Campbell, Trevor grew up in suburban Hanover, near Lee and Columbus and did all the things young kids did. School (where he excelled), playing in the back yard with his dog Gunner (beagle), going to self defense classes at Master Lee's on Greeley, playing with the neighborhood kids and going to the park. What set Trevor apart from the other kids was his interest and facility with computers. Trevor was a prodigy when it came to the intricacies of building and upgrading computers, and by the tender age of nine, he had built a top-of-the-line gaming computer. Not content to build using off the shelf components, Trevor assembled all the components by hand. Right around the time he hit high school he started to withdraw from socializing, spending much of his time in the library or in his father's workshop, sometimes helping his father with research and building newer and better devices. This willingness to work with his father would be the cause of his transformation.
Trevor was working with his father on a particle motion generator (teleportation device), which operated under the premise that if particles can be made to move "in between" light; that an effective brand of "teleportation" can be achieved. In a freak accident, the generator exploded, and Trevor was doused with altered "shadow" particles. These particles fused with, and altered Trevor on a genetic level. Trevor remembers little of the accident, but when he recovered, he found his skin was altered to a flat black color. From there he discovered that he was susceptible to direct sunlight, but was able to teleport with ease from one shadow to the next. Trevor spent the next 10 years honing and building on his powers, discovering new and interesting methods of manipulating the darkness that now lurks within him. This was at the expense of his relationship with his mother, Marjorie. Terrified by his appearance, and frightened by his amazing powers, Marjorie slowly withdrew from her son, leaving him to be cared for by the doctors. Trevore recovered in record time, and tried to go back home, but Marjorie was too afraid to accept him. He lived at home for two months, avoiding his mother by working on a plan late at night. Building a computer business, Nightwarez, and charging top dollar for his ingenuity, Trevor made for himself a respectable income. His next move was to slowly excavate a small base of operations, 500 feet under Freedom City's Liberty Park. (Directly under the bandshell to be precise.) Thus was the Twilight Hall made, with none the wiser. Finally, Trevor established a number of PO Boxes for himself and some blind doors for an address. One in particular is a favorite of his. There is a warehouse in West End, with a door that opens to three blank walls. From inside that closet sized room, Trevor can teleport to and from Twilight Hall, and accept deliveries from Peapod, and the local pizza place (Best deep dish in Freedom City!) without raising too many questions. Trevor now monitors the city, using his super computer in the Twilight Hall and tapping into the many surveillance cameras throughout the city to pinpoint trouble spots. Trevor has two black cats (Cleo and Ramses) to keep him company, a wide array of online contacts to call upon and his formidable powers to combat crime! There you go!

I see Blacklight doing quite a bit of the investigative work for a team. Between a very high Computer skill (Online Research) and a respectable Investigation score I can provide excellent results. Plus, I can provide instant transportation to and from locations as needed (Easy, accurate Transmit up to 500lbs per 'port!). I have top marks in ranged combat, and the fact that my Blasts do non-lethal means we wont have messy, accidental deaths to explain. And let's not forget, I'm also an Inventor! I can make temporary devices and gadgets to overcome seemingly impossible-to-take-down villains given a little time to study and create! (Jack-of-all-Trades feeds into this as well!) Regeneration means I wont be a burden when I am injured. Given a little time and some shadows and I'll be good as new!

Good luck getting here without my say-so EDIT: If you want an invite, there's this great pizza joint on the West End (Inside Ashton Mall) called Uno's. Deep dish only. Bring any of that NY style flat crap and you get banned.
Resized and illuminated better Note when I made that character on Champions, I realized you couldn't see ANY details if I went with black for a base color for skin. So I lightened it to a mid-gray and illuminated the pic. Make no mistake, Blacklight's skin is black as coal. Bit the pic gives you an idea of his features as well.

I came up with this name and basically pushed it on everyone I saw. Mind you, when I say "pushed" what I really meant was "beat them about the head and neck", and when I say "everyone" I really mean "all the scum of Freedom City" I'm testing out different hero builder programs (Marvel, Champions Online) to get a really good image of Blacklight.
