"Look, if I was going to tell you I didn't do a thing and I couldn't of done a thing. He definitely didn't die to wolves because I am definitely the only one who knows where they are or how to talk to them. You can completely trust me and look anywhere other than that things that claw at the door... Just saying I think there is a good chance the wolves did it. Would you want the thing you worked for centuries on to be in trouble because someone got rubbed out by a loose cannon? I just don't like it you know."

"Ok. So he voted republican and spoke lawyer. Not sure how that helps us." Ben shrugged. This was not his normal wheelhouse.

Ok. So now we get to go to another place we probably aren't wanted. This is going to be great." His only hand held his new prize as he tore the wrapper with a fang. The man actually seemed pretty happy with his little grimace figure.

"Do I get a toy in the box?" Ben brightened up.

"No. But, I don't think anyone likes losing something they got." He didn't like the thought of having to tell no one no how neither.

"Right boss. Will do."

Stands quietly, letting the investigators lay out their findings.

"She knows flowers." He beamed a lopsided smile as he pointed towards where the flowers grew.

"We are all new. It's why they chose us."

"Yeah, let's catch a cab. Hope the guys downstairs are ok."

"I'm guessing that matters some how? Ben says, not understanding the classical reference one bit.

Shrugs, a little crestfallen. "It was worth a look."

May they be of blessed memory my friend.

"We could check the bathroom. If I had things to hide it would be there I mean, we don't poop after all."

Just in case, not that it mattered with that roll.

I don't have academics. Pretty sure I can't make a knowledge roll if I don't have the knowledge.

"I just got to town." he shrugged as he looked at the flower."But I know someone who knows flowers."

"Boss lady said to do. If the owner gets angry he can take it up with her."

"Sure got a lot of things, Here I thought my rucksack was a bit much, but I guess I'm good."

"It looked funny with the weird dot on it." He beamed a toothy grin.

"He seems broken. You didn't break the guy did you, he is just doing his job." Ben chimes in as he followed, having been mostly quiet and interested in random bits of the houses decor.

Nudges Craig. "I like the new guy." He said, louder than he probably should have...

"Here I was hoping to be hit with a shotgun." He shrugged.

"You can call me Ben. Unless you already know a Ben, then old Ben works. Or older Ben if you know an old Ben."

"I like presents, will it open this door?" The one armed vagrant gestured towards the current impediment.

"Too bad the door opener went the other way. Don't think I am heavy enough to break it down myself."

"OK. I go first then." He smiled happily as he reached out to try the door.

A little time later, Ben walks up to the door and smiles at Craig. "I play dead really well."

Pace got slowed down pretty badly on this thread. Doesn't help a lot of the time, due entirely to my own choices, my character tends to be stuck in positions that don't give me much to respond to. Only so many ways I can fancy up pretending to be a dying man, and Ben sitting back with the help making sure they don't run makes sense but leaves very little room for interaction.

Still willing to keep going, but I don't want the other players to feel like they are dragging around a dead weight.

Continues to sit and amicably talk with the guards about the weather.

Ben shrugs and sits with the guards. "Sorry. If it makes you feel any better at least she didn't snap his neck."

Paizo didn't feel I needed to know there were posts in this thread again.

Ben is lying on the floor and wondering what is going on.

Ben opens one eye and smiles.

"Oh, are we doing that now."

I'll keep making heart attack actions as long as it takes.

Will be off for next two days, bot as needed.

Continues making body on the ground noises.

Will not be on again til Friday. Bot if needed.

Ben slumps to the floor, not breathing.

"Thank you kindly." Ben pulls an old candy bar from a pocket and walks over to the fountain. Bending quickly he takes a large swig of water followed by downing the old candy bar with gusto before turning back to the guards he starts to speak. "Got that sugar problem that actor keeps talking about and I think..." His words cut off as his face turns to distress and he begins vomiting up water and candy bar along with a small amount of his recent feeding...

Your distraction folks.

Ben walks over to the two guards and smiles slightly. "Hey, you guys got anything to drink?"

Sorry, forgot to mention I would be off for Rosh Hashana and the fast of Gedaliah. Here and I will do my thing.

"I could distract everyone for a while. Keep them busy while you do what you do."
