Yangrit storms in and walks into the library. A couple seconds later, you hear her shout, "Wake your master, boy. And bring me a drink."

Another sun has risen and fallen across the sky. Another moon rises high above the mountains, mocking the sun. Sleep finds you well rested for another day. Tinious sits in the main room, whistling to himself as he fixes some kind of breakfast.

Dangrio greets Marcus as he sits down. Dangrio hands him a drink and dish. "They like warm drinks, my friend. It just happens that they are strong, too. Why wont the morrow be good?"

Well, you did find a female a little while ago, Ulrik :P

Dangrio greets the others as they come in, and indicates to River that they returned.

Vladumai, the Kinslayer

Will have to think on the backstory...

*poka DM?*

Urtar looks at Dangrio and nods. Dangrio goes into the back for a moment. "The Naxmater closer than Grazilplitz, but no different than Castle Sengir." Dangrio returns with a small note with a scrawl on it, and hands it to Vi.

Note:
Drop of Life on here to fall, Listen close while I tell all.

Yangrit walks down the stairs and replies to Marcus, "Aye, it be this plague that killed 'im. And you, " she says pointing at Ulrik with a small grin. "I done paid off the of your travel with the traders, they be safe enough here (if any of us be) and a holy man may know more to help find a cause."

Dangrio brings out something "mild" for Ulrik and Lou.

Dangrio looks a tad sad. "Ya. This would be that curse, ye mighta heard of. Ain't seen much like it in my entire library. No rhyme or reason to it, neither. If ya want, should ask Urtar about it, me might be knowing more than I on this subject."

You walk into the tavern, and see that there are 3 main areas. One is the one you are in, with tables and chairs of good wood, some a little scorched, but all in good condition, otherwise. Above is a set of rooms for lodging, and in another in the back you notice a couple shelves and books.

@Vi:
The barkeep looks at you askance for a second, before shrugging and mixing a drink, placing it in front of you. "Suit yourself."

Looking at River, "I imagine you not too used to our style, here, so I'll get you something a little milder to see how it works for ya. And an empty cup and saucer? Alright." With a shrug he brings out what looks like a highly spiced fish and an empty cup and saucer.

Seeing all the new people, "So, My name is Dangrio, scholar extraordinaire and keeper of this place. So who be you and why you hear at the top of the world?"

Rogar, the majority of people here are dwarves, Dangrio here is human though. Dwarves and humans make up the majority of the town.

Watch the orc charge somewhere, instead of asking the rager to stop, you simply pretend it was your idea all along, Duke?

Here's hoping

Ameiko finally wades over to the body of the guy wielding the knife. She slaps his face a moment to wake him up, then looks at him with a feral grin. "Do not bring a bared weapon into my bar."
So proclaiming, she proceeds to smack the guy repeatedly with her sap until he passes out. She then rushes off to handle the other outbreaks with a much happier stride to her step.

As the sand flies out from your hand, a couple of the people entering sneeze, but some of them stumble and collapse on the floor.

Rogar,@River,@Lou:
The knife wielder was one of the ones that collapsed.

@Lou:
So was the knuckler.

Ameiko looks confused as the people fall down, but quickly gathers herself and continues trying to swim to the other side of the tavern.

@Vironus:
Nope, much much too hectic in here for you to hear him.

Upon hearing the commotion, being louder inside than out, another group walks into the bar and sees the fight. Some of the entrants turn around, but a few walk in, either gearing for food, or a fight.

DieRolls:

R/M/RC/L/DT/V nix3: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 161d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 121d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 161d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 241d20 - 3 ⇒ (8) - 3 = 51d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 51d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

@Rogar,@River,@Lou:
You see one of the new entrants try to hide a knife in his hand.

@Lou:
You notice one of the others also is wielding what looks to be brass knuckles.

Amelia glares at some of the newcomers, and works towards getting closer to them.

While Ameiko is trying to slow the brawl (or just to have fun), Lou seems like he certainly has done this before as he sways, dodges and trips other people to save the valuables.

@River:
You look around trying to find a good target, then a useful target, though none presents itself as a few stumble nearby, but seem more focused on the ones punching them.

Marcus successfully calls out to a few people, causing them to look his way as his force of personality draws their attention. For better or worse, this also causes them to lose focus against their opponents and quickly get knocked out, leading to some cheering for the victors. Some of them wave at Marcus, while others slug those that wave.

Ameiko walks back collecting the dishes with a raised eyebrow and grin. "One of these days, Lou..." She walks out and hands the two outspoken members their dishes while going around listening with half an ear.

Ameiko perks her ear at hearing of the artifacts and adventure, wistful for days gone by. She nods slightly at River, knowing the courage it takes to stand up in a crowd like this.

Rogar's statement draws a wince from her, as she hears the trouble, both past and future, those words provoke. She quickly looks around to notice how much trouble is likely, and walks to her bar to grab her sap. Just in case.

Always keeping a wary eye out, she walks over to Desnold. "If you are sure, it'll be jus a sec." She delivers the order back, and upon hearing the hooded man make his claim begins cursing under her breath. "Tell me, why does the festival always do this?"

At the claim, Thorick jumps up. "Laddie, I defeated the king hacht nagsh, you woul be no probleem." And he throws his bowl of soup, and misses horribly, hitting another patron with the bowl. Taking exception to being splashed with soup and bowl, he turned and swung a fist at the dwarf. Slipping in the soup a little, he managed to hit Sir Bubblebottom and so this year's Dragon Brawl was on again.

In the midst of all the bustle, Marcus' calculations seem to have eluded the notice of Ameiko, who was currently busy trying to quell the mob with judicious use of her blackjack.

Welcome in to the Rusty Dragon Inn. Enjoy the festival, enjoy your meal.

Here we go ^_^

Another day is done, and another paycheck made. The spring festival in full bloom.

All day you have heard various rumours, each wilder than the last. One about a strange cursed town far to the north, another about a magnificient crafter's hammer in a forgotten mine. The beautiful sands of Cralios lake, and the famed Ashkev horse handlers.

You have grown weary of hearing of the same rumours over and over, so you try to find a nice, quiet spot for a meal and drink.

Your journey this night finds you in the Rusty Dragon of Sandpoint, not quiet, perhaps, but good food and atmosphere. Ameiko brings out your drinks and food, and rushes off to serve some of the other guests.

Suddenly, a gnome jumps ontop of a table. "My name is Rodrick Bubblebottom, and I defeated the demonic dark lich Betherbaab. I challenge any of you to claim your life is half as interesting."

A mug flies and knocks the gnome of the table as a dwarf climbs up. "My name ish Thorick Ironshtic. I once seduced the evil king Yahct and defeated his three daughters, the nacht hags."

Some humans drag the drunk dwarf down laughing as another jumps up, "I snuck into the castle Sengir, and took riches, more than I could carry."

Ameiko looks on in good-natured amusement. She looks at you all saying, "Surely, you have some adventures of your own to boast about."

And the party learned about tactics... Next time they want to see their eyelids, they should have a drink, instead.

As far as the RAW is... yea, they kinda screwed. asleep is a standard to wake, or a shout (depending on how/why asleep) unconcious is KO'd for a duration.

Love that!

also, others post their char sheet in their alias. which it is way past my bed time, and cant recall how to get to it, i have to hunt everytime.

Perhaps you realized you did not really want to feast on whatever it was, is all.

Greetings one and all. Have your travels made you weary? Do you wish to relax at a tavern where the people are all friendly?

Then come on down to Ecland's Burning Tavern, and have a nice warm drink on me.

:You are a group of adventurers taken out of your comfort zone into a place a little less hospitable, with a bit of a curse and a mystery behind it.

I would like you to post regularly, myself am more likely to post from 1130pm-9am CST
I do utilize hidden rolls (though potentially in a spoiler)

I would like to see some backstory, what are the little things leading your character to this point.
If your character could have one wish, what would it be?
What does your character believe his strongest strength to be?
His(or her) greatest weakness.
How does your character see himself in the wider world?

I appreciate you giving me a chance.
