Aw man. Switch from goblins to undead? I don't know which is more cliche really. :) Also, I vote for taking the fast experience track. I've never actually used the others, but I believe as slow as PBP is, the faster the leveling the better.

Allow me, my good gnome Ignis says rather formally. Ignis eyes burn as he looks at the torch. He snaps his finger and the torch bursts into light. Cast spark on the torch He then moves up to the cave. Fort save 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 He takes a good whif of the cave and nearly gags. Ee ghad. Smells almost as bad as some human villages I've been to, but not as bad as some halfling latrines. Comedy 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Ignis has darkvision as well.

So, I messed up on my last post. I moved to AH9, since I'm using a short spear. Doesn't really matter, but I figured I'd mention it. Ignis, upset he didn't hit the goblin tries again with relentless determination. Move to AH8 and attack goblin at AG7 Attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14 Damage 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

No, leveling in PBP would takes months. The whole point of this was to have a rotating DM, even when the times don't make sense. It's like a collaborative story. One person starts it, but another may finish it. I say when the DM is switched, experience is handed out.

Spells Per Day 1st level: 4/4 Ha ha, let's help this Human out of this mess. Ignis moves towards the goblins attacking Ras. He focuses his fiery might into the goblin's weapon, and as his eyes burn, so does the goblin's weapon. Ignis moves to AG24 and casts Burning Disarm on goblin at AB22 Burning Disarm 1d4 ⇒ 3 DC 14 reflex to drop weapon and avoid damage

Sorry it took so long to post. I will do better. Prior action At mention of the goblins Ignis drew his short spear. Combat action Ignis moves forward at speed to AL27 I'm going to make these goblins burn! I think they will enjoy that. Let no one say I'm not accommodating.

I like my meat very well done, thank you. Nothing like a bit of ash to give it the right flavor. These elves are kindly folk, just like I knew they would be. Elves are so predictable. He gathers with the rest, and makes note of the potion. Potion of healing eh? Those are always useful. Of course this endeavor may make us drink the potion, and so it may not be much of a payment. However a way home would be nice. Unless I like it here better. I wonder if any of my cousins are here. Hmm... I will join in this mission. quest... thing... Nothing like clearing out a nest of goblins to start the week.

Spending the night with elves eh? I've had worse nights. At least they have bows unlike our friend here. He must not be normal. Ignis eats a moderate amount of food, though he finds the pasties to not be cooked quite long enough. Ignis takes a look at the scroll. Hmm... well I never formally learned about magic, so I'm not the best at reading this thing. Plus, I haven't been granted the power to magically decipher such writings as this. I shall try my best anyways. Spellcraft 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

FYI, the reason I call him Ignis for short. Auga means eye is Icelandic, and Ignis means fire in Latin, which I put together to mean Eyes of Fire in Ignan, fire elemental language. It'd be weird to be calling him eyes. It really doesn't matter though.

Let's just say that Asmodeus chose me, I didn't choose him. He points to Asmodeus's symbol emblazoned upon his forehead. I would suggest we don't stay to long. No idea if more goblins may show up. As far as destination, I say we go wherever fate burns brightest. Or to the smoke, since there if fire there, and fire means life, or what was life.

Wrong trade? It would seem like that until you think about the fact they are dead and we are the ones alive. The law always wins out in the end. I would know... Ignis mumbles that last part. He takes a look at these new comers. A gnome and an elf. And there use to be an orc. Well things sure are staying interesting. Ignis puts away his spear and addresses the gnomeIt is a pleasure to meet you Mister Fizzwiddle Glockenfluffer. I'm not sure if massively is the right word for you. He looks up and down Fizz's short stature. He turns to Minwae. And greetings to you Elf Minwae. I hope your bow will help us in this endeavor, whatever it may be. He tears some clothing off one of the dead goblins. He faces the group. I am Auga Ignis, Eyes of Fire. He throws the cloth into the air. As it flutters down, his eyes glow with flame, he snaps his fingers, and the cloth bursts into flame. Cast spark I am an impassive follower of Asomdeus, and I enjoy long walks in volcanoes. He takes a seat next to the fire, setting his backpack on the ground next to him.

Upon seeing a weak spot in the goblin, Ignis takes an opportunistic strike. AoO 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 2 = 5 Crap, they have me surrounded, but we have them surrounded too. He strikes again at the goblin Ras is flanking, hoping to bring him down and focus on the one behind him. Attack 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 + 2 = 18

Your right. Our characters should have talked. I just didn't want the bless to wear out to I started moving. My understanding of bluff is that you needed to get a 15 to pass me a secret message, and so I didn't understand. Ignis notices Jauhar waving his hand at him. He pauses. What in the world is that man doing? Is he afraid of some little goblins? Well he shouldn't have walked right into their view then. When Ignis gets into position, he tries to see if he can spot any goblins. Perception 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5

Ignis laughs quietly at Jauhar's question. He draws his short spear and moves somewhat silently through the brush closer to the camp. Moves to 29V using stealth 1d20 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (13) + 1 - 5 = 9 Edit: I sense a slight difference in plans here.

There is nothing quiet about fire. I charge into combat, flames blazing. He gives his spear a quick spin. If needed, we could light a torch and throw it onto a tent for a distraction. I don't know if the goblins will try and put it out, or just worship it or something.

Ignis eyes the Faun curiously. Seems like a nice enough creature. And it's not stealing our water, so it extra props there. Upon hearing the word goblins, Ignis moans. "Oh great, goblins. They are going to have a lot of fun with me. Well, lets get this over with. Can't leave our companions behind and all that loyalty stuff."

Flippin A. I hate it when I miss it switching to the next page. Ignis leaves the cave, glad that now there is natural resources. He didn't mind the cave much, all it needed was a good fire and it would have been very homey. However, with a lack of water in the party, he knew survival wouldn't have been good. "Let us keep a look out for water. Even devils need to drink." He smirks at this as he looks at Ras. Perception1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10

Not sure how far you have figured this out, but I wouldn't mind restarting. I haven't liked this adventure since we started moving. Kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Though I would like to keep the interaction between Ras and myself if we do start over. Plus we could open recruitment again.

I feel like this is slowly dieing. No disrespect to the boss, but I think the situations we are running into don't work very well for a PBP, mainly because they are slow to play out. I like where our characters were going with each other, but once we started moving, things got very slow. I don't think people are committed enough to this campaign. This one is on the lowest priority (even for me) for multiple reasons. I'm not sure what to do.

I posted, but dang messageboard didn't accept it Ignis tries to hold the water bag up, so that the holes face away from the ground, letting gravity hold the water in. If I move, then we will have no water! I'll assume a dex check 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

I really just want to kick these things, maybe I should have been a monk. Ignis tries to save what water he can, even if it provokes an attack of opportunity. If there is no water to save, then he attacks the bug again. Attack 4 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

"Since they don't like light, I could light up a stone and chuck it down the hole, see if something pops out. If the orc doesn't get them with his axe first." Ignis picks up a rock and stares at it, focusing as his body seems to stiffen. He mutters a few words as the pentagram on his head glows red, and the rock bursts into light. He relaxes then tosses the rock up in the air and catches it. Cast light on rock, lasts 10 mins
