The fox remains completely unaffected by the smoke... but very annoyed. He was having a great dream. He stays low by Victoria's leg, listening to pick out the sounds of the intruder.

Arris stared hard at the cat's eyes, sizing him up. He was pretty sure he could take the cat, although it looked like he might have some scars at the end of it. He was about to issue a challenging growl when Victoria grabbed his scruff. OOooo, I HATE when she does that.

Arris is happy to have the attention of the pretty lady (Erevenywg) and makes cute little chirps and barks as she scratches him. He'd been almost fully healed by the cleric's channels, but he pretends his paw hurts just to have her pay him special attention. Victoria thanks the lady and rolls her eyes at his antics.

Arris, being smarter than the average bear (cartoon reference), understands that the half-elf lady saved his life. As she presents her hand, he sniffs it and licks it, allowing her to pet his head. He looks bad, but perks up SIGNIFICANTLY after the dwarf's healing aura.
With his wounds closed up, he finally begins to feel a bit more like his old self. He wraps himself around Victoria's shoulders, almost like a stole, making contented little chirps.

The unconscious fox seems to almost smile weakly. At the very least he doesn't look quite so deathly pale.

The little fox yelps as it tosses up the rabbit it had for breakfast. He starts to turn away as the brigand's sword bites into his flank.
can he withdraw? If so, he has speed 40' and will head to the north and west, trying to scoot past the large two-leg while he continues to sound like he's hacking up hairballs

Arris growls at the bandits and backs-up closer to the giant two-leg who doesn't seem to be threatening him. (2 steps back, 1 step right) This does, however, put him very close to one of the wicked two-legs. Howling like a banshee, (seriously, foxes make this weird scream howl) he nips at the two-leg's shin.

Amid the smells of various meats, Arris catches another smell, a human, though he cannot see them. Nervous at this, he slinks along the wall, trying to pick up Victoria's scent.

Sticking to the shadows as much as possible, the little fox darts this way and that, trying to find... something. He heads toward an area of darkness towards the center of the compound.

I don't actually know where she's being held, so I'm not sure which way to direct him. Ahh, I guess I could roll something...

In all the commotion, a small fox sneaks in the front gate, sliding between a couple of timbers not as well-mortared together. He sniffs the air a few times, trying to decide which way to go.
