I'm missing something i can't find the price anywhere?

besides the druid and monk can we expect any off the current classes to receive feats similar to timeless body or timeless nature that stop aging?

if not will any future class get one?

i wanna know so i can set my expectations ahead of time its really bad to keep hoping for something just to get disappointed

like the occult sorcerer gets spontaneous spell casting

a bard can get occult spell casting + learn spells + learn from other lists + lore + music buffs

i'm wrong is thinking that the bard is absolutely superior in every way?

i'm trying really hard to get into the game so i guess i will wave the immortality stuff away and focus on something else

can some expert in optimization help me makes a 1 -> 20 build feel free to focus on any aspect you want

only 3 rules

1- no uncommon and above rarity allowed even for archetypes

2- no faction archetypes or with similar restrictions specially alignment restrictions

3- no archetypes that rely on gods, nature, patrons or similar external forces that could decide to charge me later for it

out of curiosity what can you become after death

as in i know of the usual angel azatha, agathion, aeon, psychopomb, protean, demon, devil, daemon

but there are some like Manasaputra Nightshade etc... that im not so familiar with

also i noticed reapers seem to be connected to abaddon

is there a list of things a dead character could potentially become?

like just typing it on google and looking at Wikipedia immediately shows the 2 main functions of the stone are turning metals into gold and granting immortality

i just cant understand why developers decided not to add it considering the capstone for alchemists used to be eternal youth

could the devs please give us alchemists our immortality back?

also if he gets hit with deafened or blinded does that also happens to the summoner?

i just came back to have a look at how the summoner was going and i'm here asking myself wtf?

so if ended up becoming a undead summoner and i summoned a undead eidolon i would take damage with him?

i mean i get that for the good guys but that makes zero sense for people who are summoning things like elder mythos aberrations and daemon come on people

also could you people please for the love of Christ change that thing about the marks that shows through everything

this is gonna ruin the game for everyone during stealth or stuff

please just put a rule that everyone can tell your eidolon is connected to you don't add unnecessary cosmetic changes to the player's character

yes i understand that might not be the intention but i can definitively see a gm interpreting it like shining through magical invisibility or making you easy to spot in the dark

damn there goes my hopes of playing as an undead eidolon and have the summoner character basically be my phylactery

like do i get the undead trait? can i chose a specific undead creature like a vampire?

this is not a wizard balance discussion thread

i have realized that some argument keeps being repeated over and over and it would be impractical to post a wall of text every single time they resurrect from the dead so the point of this thread is that whenever i find a argument that keeps being repeated i will post it here with every single point i can find so if someone find themselves in the same situation they can just like this thread and point out on the argument like a wizard FAQ if you may

first i will put a index with the number of the arguments then i will put the arguments numerated with the counterpoints in spoiler

the index and spoiler may sound like a overkill but i'm expecting this list to grow a lot over time since i will be checking a lot of old threads and editing the main post to add then arguments

if you find a argument that is not on this list or you would like to add something about the point etc... please feel free to point it out or pm me if you would like so i can add it to the list

ok so now i will begin to scour every single post from the 2e forum so its going to take a lot of time for this list to be complete, if you see it empty or small it probably because i'm busy reading the thousands of past threads it will be a slow process, you can help if you want i appreciate the patience

INDEX

points that i have to remember to add:

add the points about the flexibility of the wizard arcane list
add the points about the wizard excelling when prepared
add the point about spell substitution thesis being used to mitigate preparation
add the point about arcane sorcerers compared to wizards
etc...

from the thread "What classes would you like to see next in 2e?"

how would you wan't a necromancer class to be [try to keep it balanced and fun]

later i will make a poll from these opinions to find out what type of necromancer people think the best in 2e

i'm making this thread is to get a idea of what people think a fun and balanced necromancer would be like
