I created Andras some time ago for another Carrion Crown adventure that ran into issues. I think he might be a great fit here. I'd love to properly settle into some good gothic horror.

I'm reading up on the thread so far and I like what I see. You have a good group and good atmosphere. I'd love to be a part of it if you'll have me!

Andras here was part of the initial recruitment. For the moment I'm just here for moral support but if you do decide to open recruitment I might throw my hat back in the ring :)

There hasn't anything new since this morning. Was just taking an opportunity to have a little fun with it and try to get a feel for posting with this char.

With recruitment closing tomorrow I doubt a couple posts will cause anyone any problems but you're right we shouldn't get carried away.

The elf nearby gives the half-orc a wide berth, thumbing idly through a small book, near falling apart from age.

The raven on his shoulder squawks something in the elven tongue, the rolling syllables sounding strange in such a shrill tone.

Turning from his book the elven scholar frowns at the bird.

Just out of curiosity, how long were you planning on keeping recruitment open for this campaign?

Andras was created for a previous Carrion Crown game. An elven wizard who aims to help the ravaged land of Ustalav.

The posting frequency works great for me, let me know if you have any questions/concerns?

Take a look the recent games. There has been many applicants for jade reagent and they would transfer to that. There hasn't been reign of winter in a while. If you do mummy's mask, you'll have less applicants because some will apply to the other one being run, but it would also make your decisions less complicated.

Actually, from what I've seen Reign of Winter has been among the most common APs lately. There have been at least 3 started in the past month and I'm pretty sure there is one currently recruiting.

As Mummy's Mask is the new AP I really don't think there will be any shortage of applicants. Though I would suggest staggering recruitment so it doesn't completely overlap with other games.

I'd certainly put forth an application. Been having bad luck with disappearing DM's lately.

As much as I would like to see more than one campaign come out of this I'm glad you're thinking ahead. I would much rather you focus on maintaining one excellent campaign than risk spreading yourself too thin.

Ah, I believe I see the problem now. As Ysmerelda said, there's nothing wrong with creating a character and not getting picked initially. Statistically it's going to happen to a number of players no matter what.

The important thing to remember is that there will be another Carrion Crown game to come along at some point. If you don't make it here just be patient. A good PBP is a long term investment but oh so worth it :)

I'm afraid I kind of missed it, was there some reason your character wouldn't have worked before?

Utility Witches are gloriously practical. If we were to both get in our party would be abound with arcane utility!

Thanks for the heads up on content. I had generally assumed this was the direction you were going from your first post and the fact that it's carrion crown to begin with.

This suits me just fine, I'm a big fan of Lovecraftian type horror!

Finally finished with the background, I have a couple things to finish up on the crunch yet, a trait, feat and selection of my arcane bond but otherwise he should be ready to go.

I'll be finishing up the last few details later today but I wanted to get Andras in the running.
