Just because one cozys up to one noble, doesn't mean you can't have another one, or two, in your pocket as well. All we have to do is find the ones that don't mind us being "pals" with her. he says, And... having a friend in a position of power likely comes with many boons. Having two, more so.

I've come down with a bad case of the cold, hoping its not actually the flu. Posts will be limited over next few days, particularly in depth posts as I kick out this virus and try to catch up on missed class work. will try to at least come in and drop a 1-2 line post so as not to hold things up if I can.

parry,fencer,inspire: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 9 + 2 + 2 = 18
Alexander goes to push the punch away, but due to the brutes sluggishness from drinking, or maybe his own mild buzz, mistimes it and winces as he tastes a bit of blood. He shakes his head and reoriented himself. Keeping up the song, and improvising lyrics with random items he sees. He tries to weave a little magic stepping back out of the pirates reach before vanishing. casting vanish, another 1st level spell slot down.

Alexander moves non-nonchalantly to talk to chumtooth, and the others. He drapes his arm around him as a good friend would and in the chaos, he leans close and whispers.

sorry folks, writing out shanties and or poems takes me time, time I didn't have to do so haha. Especially considering I would have wanted to go back through the gameplay post and use specific instances. Unfortunate that as well, would have been a great opportunity. Also, I am not the owner of the youtube video I linked, I merely enjoy the channel. Alexander wrapped up their speeches with one fit for pirate legends, and despite his large partaking of sweet rum, managed to do so without slurring or slipping up on his words. Though, there were a couple large burps throughout it. Later, Alexander sits back playing his violin, and sings a sad, sea melody that touches even a cold-hearted pirate. perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30

couldn't move Alexander, I would have wanted him to be on the main deck, close to the dock and the giant. 1 1st level spell used, 1 2nd level spell used. Alexander will pull out a small vial of viscous black goo and fling it at the giant. It erupts into a large puddle of slick blackish blue liquid around its feet.
Casting grease on the giant. DC 15 reflex save or fall prone, acrobatics 10 to travese grease.
M half-elf
Alexander moves down to the main deck area and starts up a small shanty.
Not a single step he'll make
Soon we'll be rollin' him away
using inspire courage, hopefully so it hits everyone. +2 to hit/damage

Alexander rummages around in a pack as he steps up to get a clear line of sight to the giant. Finally, pulling out a red ball, tosses it a couple of times in the air and then throws it at fishpork, upon contact it erupts into showering blast of glitter. Casting Glitter dust DC 17 will save, or be blinded.

apologies, I didn't realize I was up. fort: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 Alexander will wait until he can make eye contact with the dealer before giving him a quick wink before Throwing the min bet and drawing. 1d20 ⇒ 7 other rolls:
1d12 ⇒ 12 19 total.
After the draws, he will tentatively look to the man across from him before giving a very small smile, and betting another 10pp. if you wanted to finish the rest in a single post, Alex will never roll for additional cards, only roll to improve his hand if he is 18 or less, and only "cheat" if cheating can get him a 18-20. Alex also doesn't want to drink a lot of the grog, so would try and finish it up quickly.

fort: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 cheers Alexander says before turning the drink up. He grimaces at the drink, but manages to keep himself collected. He draws again after tossing the obligatory 5pp into the pot. hand: 1d20 ⇒ 19 extra rolls: perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23 keeping an eye out. No other rolls.
M half-elf
if I understand correctly, once I match his bet, that round is over yes? I'll go ahead and do my next hand this post. hmmmmm. What do you think voilet? Alexander muses to his parrot, the parrot merely lets out a small whistle in response. He taps his fingers as he thinks before tossing another 15 pp into the pile, for a total bet of 20. I truly don't want to drink a lot of that seawater, its just not suited for my palate. However the first hand goes, Alexander keeps a smirk on his face. hand2: 1d20 ⇒ 11 Alexanders smirk twitches slightly, before he toss 5 pp into the pot. draw and other rolls: draw: 1d8 ⇒ 7 bluff: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24 Total of 20. perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17 keeping an eye out. fort: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 in case I won first round

apologies, had medical things I had to take care of past weekend. Also, I think I understand how this works. well, if that is the case, then how could one resist He gives a slight bow, the purple feathered parrot looks over the other man with one black eye. He sits down giving a smile to the other player as he places his bet before drawing his hand. roll:
1d20 ⇒ 16
bluff: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 25 19 total score. well, lets start a little slow then? he murmers before tossing another 4 PPs into the pot. this could take a while, do you want to up the min bet to 5pps? Or did you have an idea for how to do this without turning it into a potential 30 post game hahs.

Alexander takes out an ornate flute and looks to the spectators. How about a little music then? Before starts whistling out a shanty melody. Alexander will try to subtlely use his still water ability. still water:
Still Water (Su): At 3rd level, a sea singer can use performance to calm rough waters within 30 feet, reducing the DC for Profession (sailor) and Swim checks, as well as for Acrobatics and Climb checks aboard ship, by an amount equal to the bard’s level (to a minimum of DC 10) for as long he continues to perform. He can extend this duration to 1 hour by playing for 10 consecutive rounds. This ability requires audible components. This performance replaces inspire competence.
I will let Chumtooth choose the mount to lower the DC, I have lingering performance, so I will lose 1 performance every 3 "rounds", if it goes over 8, I would just use the 10 consecutive rounds to make the effect last an hour. Any checks you want from me to make it seem like just normal music?
M half-elf
I figure some expense would need to be paid to combine effects, likely, the easiest way would be to add 50% of the cost of the non-base weapon, 50%, because the only added effects you would be getting are the non static bonuses. However, if the added effect(s) is easily identified as a normal "+x" bonus from the magic item pricing list, then simply charging the cost for an added effect would the be simplest way. the other way is simply add "all magical bonuses", which would then simply be adding the cost of the 2nd weapon to the first. I wouldn't mind having someone that could craft magical arms and armor, especially given we likely will have a lot of down time during trips.
M half-elf
I wouldn't mind the tidewater cutlass, also, if in town we could possibly have items "merged" (possibly by selling/repurchasing at a new cost) I'd love to have brines sting effect added on to the cutlass. As sadly I cannot use a peircing weapon with slashing grace /: I've always liked the idea of upgrading named weapons, rather than just selling them like nothing. I'd also not mind the headband of charisma. I'll leave the ac boosters to our more full martial boys haha. Couple other things seem nifty, but I wanna let dante take his pick of the rest. Also, apologies for the scarcity, just finished finals week and now I am at home visiting my folks.

know. History: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 Well well well, what do we have here... Alexander almost purrs as he sees the chests. He then casts detect magic, and inspects each for traps. If he detects no traps, he would attempt to see if he could open them. perception for trapschest1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28

Alexander pulls out one of his wands and rests the tip on himself. CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Well. Alex says, throwing a smile to the others. That was fun. Let us pause for a moment and catch our breath. Also, someone should get that trident for our cap'n here. Feel free to use charges from the CLW/infernal healing wands as you wish. Just make sure to keep track of how many you use so I can make the proper edits to the charge number.
M half-elf
Also, Chumtooth, the big guys is blinded, so you would get sneak attack damage IIRC. Being blinded means they lose their Dex bonus to AC, and Sneak attack states-
that is, if your archetype keeps sneak attack.

Alexander watches as his spell seemingly has little to no effect on the warriors and rolls his eyes. but nonetheless moves back to support his fellows, hoping that at the very least hoping the blindness from the spell would let his blade slip into a softer area of scales. He darted in and thrust the blade towards the male's chest. attack: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 10 + 2 = 23
Why don't ye try ye luck on someone with a bit more finesse at swordplay? Or afraid I'll gut ye like the fish ye are? Also, I completely forgot about the parry and riposte ability, I will ask whether or not you want me to roll them before you post the attacks, or after you post them (on the round after). Parry and Riposte: Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent makes a melee attack against the swashbuckler, she can spend 1 panache point and expend a use of an attack of opportunity to attempt to parry that attack. The swashbuckler makes an attack roll as if she were making an attack of opportunity; for each size category the attacking creature is larger than the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler takes a –2 penalty on this roll. If her result is greater than the attacking creature’s result, the creature’s attack automatically misses. The swashbuckler must declare the use of this ability after the creature’s attack is announced, but before its attack roll is made. Upon performing a successful parry and if she has at least 1 panache point, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action make an attack against the creature whose attack she parried, provided that creature is within her reach. This deed’s cost cannot be reduced by any ability or effect that reduces the number of panache points a deed costs.

Alexander lets out a "tch" as his blade doesn't penetrate he takes a small step back and weaves in some a bit of magic. Suddenly a cloud of sticky golden glitter bursts around the two enemies. 5ft step away from the two angry fish folk. Casting glitterdust so that it hits both the large male and the female without hitting his allies. DC 16 will. 2/3 3rd level spells left, 21/23 bardic performance rounds left.

Hey All, some things came up this past weekend that will likely keep a large portion of my attention for awhile. I will try to keep up a posting rate, but if I am away for a day please feel free to bot me in combats, I hopefully will find time to at least make a check-in post during RP spot but I cannot promise that. I apologize for any inconvenience in advance.
