Agna doesn't see what exactly is amiss, but obviously something has gone wrong and the Iomedae is false. She moves up to support Leothar, but pauses to cast Divine Favor on herself first. Can't make it all the way there in a single move action.

Iomedae doesn't have much of a presence in Korvosa, or Varisia more generally, and Agna is a relative newcomer in Mendev. She feels that she doesn't have the knowledge required to draw any conclusions about what's going on. She looks to Ian for cues about how to understand what's happening.

Agna adds her opinion in case it carries any weight. "I like our chances going in through the collapse more than I do flying around. I'm not so sure our seeing no movement or presence inside is a good thing. I'd rather not count on it to mean floating about in the open isn't a problem for us."

I see what you mean Leothar. It does look like a breach in the outer wall. Agna, still the newcomer is reticent to offer too many opinions. She isn't even precisely sure what their goal is, aside from the most general and obvious one of retaking the fortress. A relative newcomer, she doesn't know what the sword of valor is, or why it matters. However, a good idea is a good idea. "If there is a breach or a tunnel, those would be the routes of access that would be least likely to widely announce our presence and draw most of the garrison inside for a effort to repulse us."

I'm in a somewhat different situation than others in that I started with a complex 7th level character. I didn't grow into my character over time as she leveled. If we're updating once every week or two, I simply don't use the character enough to learn how without rereading everything so I know what's there whenever I need to post. It's a drag. If the posting rate would be faster so I learn the stuff, that's a different story. I'd stay in that case.

I had no idea there was something I was supposed to do that was holding things up. Honestly though, I'm thinking I may need to bow out. This is a difficult game to step into because of the complexity of the characters. Given the slow rate of play, I don't use my character frequently enough to really learn how to. Every time my turn comes around I have to reread everything to figure out what I can do. It's all a bit much.

Since she doesn't expect the last of the guards to remain upright for any length of time so she bypasses him to move in on the demon. Double Move.

Alright, Agna moved only 5', so she'll take a move action instead and make an attack as indicated on the map. Then a full attack against the same target this round. Power Attack (Reach, Prior Round): 1d20 + 11 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 11 + 1 - 2 = 23 Damage: 1d12 + 6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 6 + 1 = 22 Power Attack (Reach) #1: 1d20 + 11 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 11 + 1 - 2 = 30 Damage: 1d12 + 6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 6 + 1 = 21 Crit?: 1d20 + 11 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 11 + 1 - 2 = 16 Damage: 1d12 + 6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 6 + 1 = 14 Power Attack (Reach) #2: 11d20 + 6 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 6 + 1 - 2 = 23 Damage: 1d12 + 6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 6 + 1 = 17

Agna moves up, remaining to the far left. She feels the effects of the spell which causes her to miss a few steps as she tries to adjust and keep moving onward. WILL: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Agna continues with her strategy of striking blows against the demon (red) and trying to foul its attacks against Leothar. Agna takes a lot of fire, and only succeeds on fouling the demons weapon attack. If Leothar is attacked He'll get +3 to his AC due to Agna's aid. Moving onward from the now dead demon, Agna goes around Leothar and swings her polearm at the demon now within reach, slamming it with the hammer head. Power Attack: 1d20 + 11 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 11 + 1 - 2 = 25 Damage: 1d12 + 6 + 1 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 1 + 6 = 18 +1 Cold Iron Weapon.

Agna leaps from the scale onto the tower and lands already powering forward. The fireballs only result in some minor scorching. She follows Leothar, her polearm extended forward. When she's close enough, Agna jabs the spiked head between Leothar and the demon, gouging it while also blocking some of the demon's lines of attack with the pole. A couple of last minute questions. I want to double check my HP total to make sure it's right. Now I have 10(1st level) + 36 (6 x 6 levels) + 14 (+2 CON bonus x 7) + 7 (FCB x 7) +10 (some sort of boon?) + 2 (from a feat) = 79. Does this seem right? Have I missed anything? Also, I have a little bit of money left to spend, is it possible to purchase wands with partial charges or must they be fully charged?

Sent up to bolster the vanguard, charged with taking the towers, Agna stands and listens. She has driven the metal clad butt of her polearm into the ground and leans on it like a staff. She is completely encased in plate armor. Even her helmet allows only her brown eyes to be visible. The armor is of an unusual make. The plates are curved and shaped in such a way that makes it obvious the wearer is female, including details such as the decorated disks attached to each side of the helm mimicking earrings. Any cloth, mostly on the legs and arms, is blue, as is her cloak, though the cloak has a golden edging. The long, flowing crest of the helmet is also golden. The upper chest of the breastplate displays a painted on winged angel with a corona halo surrounding the head, indicating Agna's service to Sarenrae. When Ian calls on her to go with him, she says only "ready, lead the way." K Local, K History, or K Nobility DC 12:
Agna's armor is that of a Gray Maiden. The Gray Maidens were an all female corps who served as bodyguards and soldiers for Queen Ileosa of Korvosa during her reign, which was cut very short by a violent revolt. Queen Ileosa has since become know for her brutal and corrupt rule of the city. Agna's armor has clearly been modified for it's original appearance. All cloth portions have originally been red, including the cloak. The helm crest would have been red as well. Obviously the Sarenite holy symbol on the breastplate would have been added later.
