Alright. I don't care about any of the particulars, other than the campaign is an empire building campaign. Meaning at some point we are using the ultimate campaign rules to operate, maintain, and improve a city/state/kingdom/empire. I'm even down with any/all race/class restrictions and I acquiesce to your attribute generation rules.

Yes, in fact I'm prepping to run a campaign myself. Hopefully I can get another player or two myself for bi-weekly Friday evenings.

Is there, whether by Paizo or somebody else, a noncharacter sheet that uses variant rules, like armor as damage reduction and wounds and vigor? I've been looking, but haven't been able to find one yet. I would love to have some color printable pdfs of this. Something official looking would be awesome.

Alright, I'm going to have to remove myself from this one, before it gets to far in. Sounds like it will be fun, but I just can't get excited around my character concept, and so rather dragging this out further, I am going to stop now. Hope you all have fun, and good luck!

Magmar finishes, and looks at the five of you in turn with his single eye.

That is correct. Levels 2, 3, and 4 will gain you +1 to your AC. If you have a shield, it goes towards your AC. The leather armor grants you 2dr/(Adamantine or magic). Also, you can go ahead and join the table in the Gameplay thread.

You are all in Tully's, at your usual table(big enough to fit eight dwarves), when Magmar brings out a tankard of ale for each of you, and the promise of fresh baked bread and ham-roast reaches your noses. "Roast Pig with Rosemary and Thyme, and fresh Rye Bowls for you laddies tonight." Magmar says as he looks at each of you with his one good eye, an eye patch covering what was lost in a battle with the Deep Orcs almost four score years ago.
My story is homebrew, and fairly sandbox. Let me know when you are done modding it, I don't want to spend extra time reading non-finished pc's. Got alot of stuff I have to do in RL.

You have multiple sets of stats... and you still have your armor bonus going to ac, not dr.
If I remember correctly, run is a full turn action, but you are allowed to turn. Charging requires a straight line. Rough terrain just halves your speed. Does your climb speed have a run multiplier? I would house rule it as you can do half your run, and half your climb, so if you have 30x4 and 20x1, for every 30feet you run that is the equivalent of climbing 10.
I haven't read through that section. I do have Basic Defense Bonus, though, which I did note in the PC gen. You are a ranger, so you get +1 every level.

A little backstory that I've come up with is that you guys like to hang out at a pub named Tully's, which is currently owned and run by Janderhoff 's Lord Commander(Ret.) Magmar Brungrym, with his legendary Warhammer, DawnBringer hanging on the wall behind the bar.
No Problem! I once played a Dwarven Ranger with a musket in an all dwarves campaign. I enjoyed the concept, so I'm happy to run one.

Of course. I don't kill much, having only one kill under my belt, but his soul was consumed by Lolth herself!Was she in "smokin' hot female drow" form or "OMGWTFBBQ ginormous spider!!" form? OhMyGodWhatTheFrakBigBadQueen? Yes, the latter form, still smokin hot from the waist up, except for the whole sucking on the soul smoke form the Half-Dragon templated Elf Multi-Dragon influenced-class guy. And to be fair, he did get laid by a Draw priestess right before being sacrificed in front of the Party. He didn't get laid in front of them, he dissappeared, and they found him in the drow temple under the undercity, as the knife plunged down.
I'm taking a look at Swords and Wizardry, and D&D Next, and will look for things that might be influential, and then make my own game. Probably will not be d20 though.
Utility spells are great in all situations, including combat.
