Sorry guys a bit squashed for time this week...you can DM-bot me if you want to keep the action moving....sorry abouthis!

Agility & Wild: 1d12 ⇒ 11 1d6 ⇒ 5

"Well, I suppose we should get out there and deal with this creature! Who is with me?"

Adalphorius heads towards the door and turns to see if anyone is joining him.

"These creatures have no right to be here threatening the people of this planet. They need to be removed, by force if necessary. An invasive species attacking the natural inhabitants of this world...that is enough for me!"

The elf goes back to drinking his tomato juice.

Adalphorius listens to the humans talking about the rift and the dangers emerging from it.

He stands and walks to the bar and stands near the woman and barkeeper.

"Tomato juice, if you have it! Adalphorius"

He give a short bow towards the female and smiles.

"The rift has brought me here as well"

Standing with his feet shoulder-width apart and his poncho slung over his left side, Adalphorius gazes into the distance at the saloon. The wind quietly sighs as it blows back his long, silky blonde hair...a strand catching on the point of his right ear. Letting out a deep sigh, the figure moves forward to the distant drinking hole...his mind is already on who will be there and if he will need to put anyone down tonight!

As he finally arrives at the establishment, the gunslinger pauses at the doorway, giving his eyes a chance to adjust from the dusk to the bright lights of the saloon. The smells and sounds wash over him as he waits the few seconds it takes to ready himself before he pushes open the swinging doors and enters the place.

Are we together now, or on our own going to the saloon?

Ah..sorry...here I am!!!

Background::

Adalphorius hails from the ancient elven forests, where he was trained in the art of marksmanship and stealth from a young age. His keen eyesight and agility made him a natural with firearms, and he quickly became one of the most skilled sharpshooters among his kin. However, a restless spirit and a thirst for adventure led him to leave his homeland in search of new challenges and experiences.

His journey brought him to the rugged and lawless frontier of New Salt Lake, a town known for its harsh environment and even harsher inhabitants. Here, Adalphorius found a place where his skills were in high demand. The town, built on the shores of a vast, dried-up salt lake, is a melting pot of various races and factions, each vying for control and survival.

Adalphorius quickly made a name for himself as a gunslinger for hire, taking on jobs that ranged from protecting caravans to hunting down dangerous outlaws. Despite the rough exterior he presents to the world, Adalphorius has a strong sense of justice and often finds himself siding with the underdog. His elven heritage and mysterious past add an air of intrigue to his persona, making him both respected and feared in equal measure.

Ok, this is Daniel. Here is the crunch for my submission. I will work on a background next...is there anything I need to add to the background? Are we trying to hook our characters together in some way??

Hey DM, could you please close down this thread as we are all done with this game? Thanks

Al moves forward to examine the corpse as well as its resting place.

"Let's not be too hasty...who knows what treasures this monster could be hiding!"

Adalphorius takes a step back as he sees the arm of the corpse move.

"Ummm...hey guys...I think he is waking up! His arms are moving!!"

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

"Well that cannot be a good sign...I wonder who it might be?"

Knowledge-History?: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Current HP: 4/7

Still feeling the burn of the various wounds upon his body, the wizard grits his teeth and nods to the last door.

"Guess we should check that one out too...then maybe we can have some rest!"

Current HP: 3/7

"Still a little shaky from that zombies strike, I will admit. Further healing would be most welcome." The wizard looks paler than normal and seems to be having trouble breathing.

A look of shock and pain crosses the elf's face as the undead fiend smashes through his magical defenses. Gritting his teeth he fires one more bolt of energy at the attacking creature.

Force Bolt Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Al once again fires a dart of pure energy at the zombies.

Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Sorry...I had not realized it was his turn again!! Thanks for the botting :-)

AL runs back to the main room and seeing the skeletons, calls upon his powers to fire a magic dart at the one closest to the endangered woman and her child.

Force Bolt: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

"Let's take a look at these wrapped lumps. Who knows what the spider may have inadvertently sealed up with their meals."

He takes a small knife from her belt and starts to cut open one of the cocoons.

Seeing the spider dead, Al goes over and helps free Jenise out of the web.

"Well that one was pretty big. Good aim on squashing it Ayla!"

Init: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Following behind the others, Al shines his light into the room at the end of the hall.

"So what do we have here...giant spiders or just some regular swarms??"

He smiles slightly, then stops when he thinks of what a swarm of spiders might do to the group.

"Ummm...forget the swarm...maybe just a few big ones?"

"Hmmm...try the door or go down the corridor?? Do we have anyone that might be able to deal with the locked door??"

The wizard shines his light down the corridor as well as at the door as he studies both rooutes.

Al watches the others as they go about their ways after the battle. He follows Jenise and watches as she searches the two large beasts.

"So do you know what these things are? I do not think I have run into their kind before."

Another bolt of force leaver Al's hand and strikes the creature.

Force Bolt: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Taking a defensive stance, Al blurts out the formula for a spell. A shimmering dart of force flies from his hand and strikes the creatures attacking them

Magic Missile:1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

"Single file would probably be best in a dark and unknown space. That way if we stumble into a trap, only one of us will be affected."

"I am interested in seeing what might be within this ancient structure. Let's search it and ensure it is safe for all"

Al moves his light inside the open door to help illuminate the darkness within.

Al once again gestures with his hand and another silvery dart flies out and strikes one of the rats.

Forcebolt: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Aiming at one of the beasts, a silvery dart flies from the mage's hand and strikes the little creature.

Force bolt: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Sorry...the one that has the scratching come from it

Sorry, looks like my post did not take..but you rolled way better than I did :-)

Al moves his magical light to the door and the sounds coming from within.

"Does anyone want to see if it will open now?? Maybe I can try!"

Cast Spell - Open/Close cantrip

The elven mage reaches out his hand and makes a 'pulling' gesture at the door.

Again with a wave of his hand the water slides off the woman's clothes and onto the ground.

"A pleasure...and I am sorry I did not catch your or your childs names"

With a short bow towards the man, Al introduces himself and his companions.

"A tomb you say...do you happen to know who is interred within?"

He also introduces the group to the woman and child by the fire.

"Madam would you like me to dry your clothes for you? I am a wizard and have a minor spell to remove the water from your clothing."

He looks back at the man.

"And yours as well, if you want."

"Indeed my good man, Storm Peace! Looks like we are getting a goodly number of travelers here. Do any of you know anything about this place?"

Al examines the doors and walls for a possible way into the main building.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Al is probably around 5'9" or so

Al waits his turn to enter the ruined tower as the others examine the doorway. Once he is able to enter, he raises his hands and summons a light to illuminate the interior.

"There we go, now we can see what is what. Next, I think is getting dry."

With a flick of his wrist the water sluices from his clothing, leaving him dry. He does the same for the rest of the group as they wait.
