I'm so sorry. I just don't have the bandwidth to keep up with all my PbP games. I took a promotion at work, and by the end of the day my brain just doesn't any power left for posting. I've enjoyed playing in this game so much, and I wish you all the best. Have great future adventures. I'll miss this gang so much.
Ada wakes up without any ill effects from the night. "A bath sounds good." She watches Azura and Ryn look at the wall. "That is weird." she moves closer and studies the wall carefully.

Ada nods and follows to the place the group will rest for the evening. "This place isn't my kind of place. It's a little to hot for my liking. In public anyway." she mutters almost to herself.
Ada smirks at the Maidens. "Told you that she'd regret her decision." She looks around the quarters. "I think I'll skip the bath." "I can keep an eye on you while you bathe if you need a bath. I don't trust them or a succubus." she shrugs toward the maidens.
Ada shakes her head. "Not a wise choice Miria. She's a descendent of the Runelord for sure. You'll see." And she smirks waiting for the results of the spell to hit the leader of the women.
Ada draws her weapon and waits to see what happens with the panel. "That's unexpected."
Ada's face keeps getting brighter and brighter as the suggestion to take off her armor and go swimming is almost to much, but she manages to resist. "I agree with Ulfr. We should go through the secret door first. We might have the element of surprise if we do that. Assuming it brings out behind whatever is waiting for us down the tunnels."
Is it too late to stick my nose in here to play? I've always wanted to try AD&D. On a I have way too many books. I have some of the brown Complete Guides and some of the Volos Guides that I've picked up over the years a secondhand book stores just for ideas. Now I have a reason to read them.
Work is still crazy, and I won't have brain power to post until after this week. I've got a major report due, and I'm the only one who has access to entering the data.

Ada picks up one of the swords and slides it into her belt. "Can't hurt to have one on hand. Just in case." "I have no idea if this will explode. It looks dangerous."
Ada shakes her head at the boys. "I would touch a freezing door even if there was something behind it I thought I wanted. That's a really bad sign."
Ada waves her hand in front of her face trying to get the still humid air moving. "Now I wish I'd taken up fighting fans. At least I could use them too move a bit of air around."
Ada moves to Ryn. "I almost feel bad for him. I'd go crazy being locked up here for eons." She casts Cure Moderate Wounds
Ada concentrates and suddenly a weapon in the shape of a glowing great sword appears next to the demon. She moves up behind Ryn drawing her longsword.
I'm here. January is a rough month for me, and then add in not being able to log in. I'll get caught up. I don't have a magic weapon, but I do have a spell that should help.
Ada is stunned as she sees the angel. "I can help." She gives Saearsha a look to see if it's ok, and if the healing would work through the runes. Can I touch her for a Moderate amount of healing or do I need to channel? Oh." She digs in her bag. "Here it is.I also have my nightgown. We're not the same size, but hopefully it won't fall off of you." She pulls out a long white cotton gown with long sleeves.

Ada helps tie up their boat. "Should we leave the mounds or try to open them. The guardian did indicate the trespassers were in this direction."
I hope you escape unscathed. I've had 9 family members have COVID. They live in the rural midwest, and not taking this as seriously as those of us in Washington State have been. All but one recovered with seemingly no long term effects. One with serious health complications to start with didn't.
"Let's head to the island."
Ada looks nervous about being in a boat again, but carefully steps onto it. She looks to Zev to use the pole to push the boat. She sits down and hangs on to the sides tightly. "I'll keep an eye out." She doesn't quite look convinced the boat isn't going to immediately flip over.
"I'm not sure I want to go on a boat after last time." Ada shivers remembering their last battle. "Do they look...um...river worthy?"

"That seemed to work." Ada carefully approaches to stand next to Saearsha to see what happens.
Ada tenses, but doesn't respond.
Ada draws her sword, and nods ready to go into the cavern.
Ada will continue to tend to the injured while Saersha talks to Ucutzi. She just bandages up scratches, and stops minor bleeding with mundane methods.
Ada pulls out her wand and heals up Ryn. "There you go. Can't have you wincing when you're in battle." She pats the gladiatrix on the shoulder.
"I have a wand. Ryn do you need more healing?"
Ada waves at everyone to get within 30 feet of her, and Channels Positive Energy. She motions for the lizard folk to press close as well. She shakes her head as the wounds aren't healed as much as she likes and channels again. "I want to save my last channel just in case."
There's a Pulp Cthulu game starting next week. I'm applying for it, and I thought some of you might be interested.
Ada gives the Evil Eye at the Golden Lizard Folk, and then laughs. It's more of a crazed cackle really. Her voice raises in creepy laughter. It shakes the confidence of the lizard.
Ada was wearing her armor at breakfast and headed out at a run with the others. She sees the enemies, draws her sword as she moves out of the cave. Then she calls upon her patron and casts Bless on her allies.

Ada smiles and gets in line for breakfast. "I used all the restoration healing I had today. I hope the other tribes don't need restoration too." She puts the food together like a sandwich and enjoys breakfast.

Ada kneels next to the prone lizardfolk first. She touches his hand and casts Lesser Restoration. "This should help you feel better." She stands and moves to her next patient. She reaches out to touch his hand, and gives him a slight smile and shakes her head when she notices he's looking Zev. She casts Lesser Restoration on him, and stands. "There you go. Feel better friend." "I've done what I can. Zev time for breakfast?" She heads toward the door hoping Zev follows.
Yeah I have an "exciting" job no one ever knew was a job when they were a kid. I'm accountant that manages Research Project's budgets for the VA Hospital in Seattle. The research is really interesting, and important. The day to day tracking of those budgets within the government rules and regulations is frustrating.
Ada wakes up the next morning, and finds a quiet place to commune with her Patrons. Erras looks like her normal healthy self, but looks more like a statue this morning. "Zev would you come with me back to the sick lizard folk? I can help the other two with their affliction this morning." She pauses. "At least one of their afflictions."
Sorry the end of the Federal Fiscal year is here, and that's my busy season at work.
Ada moves up to the indicated lizard folk. "I'm afraid I can only help one of you today. I can help the other tomorrow." She glances to make sure Zev is close by, and reaches out to cast Lesser Restoration on the brown lizard. As her spell washes over the lizard she gives him a smile. "There you should be feeling better now." She backs away from him and turns to Ucutzi. "I've done what I can today. Once I rest and commune with the spirits, I can help these other two tomorrow." "Do you have any ideas of what we might find in the tower? It appears the Grey Maidens will be waiting for us, but what else might be there I wonder." She rubs her arms with nervousness.
Ada nods and follows the lizardmen to the ill lizardfolk. "I will do my best to help your people."
Ada steps forward, "I would be most honored to help you. I can only try to restore one person today. I would need to rest and pray for the spells from my deity tomorrow. We had an encounter earlier today that used up some of my magic."

Before the group leaves the cabin, Ada slips the charm around her neck. "Thank you Saersha. This is lovely." As the group is talking about understanding languages, Ada casts Comprehend Languages on herself. She stands with a stoic face as the lizardmen speak to each other. She pretends that can't understand them in order to have an advantage if needed.
"They won't explode. I say we go and try to say hello."
Glad to be back.
"Give me a second." Ada whispers as she studies the runes. "Probably exploding, but you never know." She casts Read Magic on them.
