Honestly the top two choices are interchangeable. If someone wants to be the engineering officer, my nameless android will be a pilot. Same with the tertiary choice. If someone wants to be the science officer, my PC will be a gunner.

No real due date. When I get 5-6 players with mostly complete characters we'll begin to integrate them into a group and get started with the campaign soon after that. Don't won't to wait too long as some who are quicker on the draw might lose interest.

We can. But I'll only be able to check when I'm home. So will have to use a sheet I'd save on my phone
I can save a copy of the sheet when you send it to me. You can track your character however you want... this allows me to check for validity and will probably only be used by you when you level up. Just saves me having to enter all your profile data manually.

Many words in the English language (including given names) do not comply with the English rules of pronunciation because so many word wore simply taken from other languages and added to the English language.
Not including the way two vowels together changes pronunciation, the following is how you determine whether a vowel (that only has consonants beside it) is pronounced as a short or long vowel sound.
If a vowel is followed by 2 or more consonants, it is pronounced as the short vowel sound.
If a vowel is followed by a single consonant, and that consonant is the last letter of the word, the vowel sound is pronounced as the short vowel sound.
If a vowel is followed by a single consonant, and that consonant is followed immediately by a vowel, then the vowel preceding that consonant is pronouced as the long vowel sound.
For example, the pronunciation of Seth (Green, McFarlane, etc.) is pronouced using proper English pronounciation. If it did not and the e was pronounced with the long e sound, the name would sound like 'seeth'.
"Yabba Dabba Doo" uses English pronunciation rules.
Now for a fun fact/observation I made regarding the other famous catch phrase of the Hanna Barbara cartoons, "Scooby Dooby Doo"

Remember how in the 70's and 80's rock and roll was "The devil's music" and if you played certain LPs backward it would apparently sound like "the devil is talking". --> apply the same principle to Scooby Doobie Doo ==> "Do Doobie, Scoobie" :P
An aside. When meeting someone for the first time and they are wearing a name tag, particualarly if is not a common English name, I will usually attempt to say it and ask them if I pronounced their name correctly. More times than not I pronounced it correctly - and a few times the person was suprised as they told me "Noone ever gets the pronunciation of my name right!" (or some iteration of the same acknowledgement that I was the first 'foreigner' (weird when applied when talking about discussions you have in your own country, but best way to to describe cultural/language differences).

The sheet linked above is a pdf generated from Starbuilder so the format should be easy enough to read. for those of you using DemiPlane Campaign. There are tags on your character profile that can be filled out for additional information. "Feats and Features", "Details", "Notes". Perhaps you could copy/paste your character background in the Notes field for easy access.
I'm very familiar with the mechanics but haven't run Starfinder before so I'll have to spend some time figuring out how to tie your characters to the setting information. Still should be ready to kick-off by the end of this week.
I'll post any questions or issues in Discord so as not to clutter up this thread.
