And since she does what she does, can she start with both 1st and 2nd part done of the ritual?

* Regarding Level Adjustment: my understanding was that Level Adjustment of +2 on a race in a game of 3rd level characters would mean a 1st level character. Is this correct?
* Are we using Level Adjustment? If so, what LA is the Drider I posted earlier?
* Is the Slayer (Vanguard) an appropriate/allowed class/archetype for this game?
* In Greyhawk, driders were only male, while in Golarion, there are both male and female driders. What is the situation in the Forgotten Realms?

I for one wont mind to dump the LA :P everyone (barring ocean) will prob play DN :P
Oh - I hope the drider “issue” isn’t creating the use of LA - I think my PF1-fu is a bit rusty. To be honest I thought LA was a DnD 3/3.5 thing - whereas when looking on the d20pfsrd, in PF Race Builder terms Drider was listed as 35 RP to the Drow Noble’s 41.

PF1 doesn't normally do level adjustment. But when you have races that are much more powerful than others, then you need to balance that or everybody will play the high RP races. Level adjustment is crude, but effective.

Question is, is she a follower of Lolth? If so, she can start out with both parts done.
EDIT: I remember, she's a follower of Shax.

Note: I replaced the Spider domain with Nobility. It seemed to be a better fit. See the FRCS and Faiths and Pantheons (3e) for more information.

@Elton: thanks for the swift replies. Ok, will look at making a 2nd level slayer (vanguard) drider. Might take me a bit as I’m a bit rusty with PF1e.
Given the concept - essentially being tied to another character - I’ll leave the background fairly basic. And I think I have a copy of the ADnD 2e Drow of the Underdark so will check if there is available information in there on House Baenrae.

I was torn and almost did an Inquisitor dip based on my build but it's just not worth it. But thinking about it and researching that idea slowed me down a bit, plus work, kids, posting in other games, dogs, etc etc...
