Just to get the ball rolling, some basic stuff and points for
Vierkacha Vexidyre
One of the youngest of house Vexidyre that has come of age. She didn't show any of the Normal magical abilities most of her siblings possessed and was first viewed as perhaps a mistake.
Her younger years she had to put in a lot more effort to show her worth to the house, being cast aside most of the time due to her lack of noble abilities
As time grew, her devotion to her house and that of Shax began to bare fruit, as his blessings could be seen in her work. Her skills grew to a point where she was being taken notice of by quite a few of her seniors. She eventually became a priestess and one of the more valued members of the 'House of Healing' where her skills grew even more.
Through many summoning and obediences, she began her path that would be hard for some, impossible for others. As the years and the training came and went, she managed to achieve the 2nd step into her path of transcendence.
The ritual was quite traumatic, painful, delightful. Everything she though and everything she didn't. Excruciating pain, and bliss all flowed into one as the procedure was done.
When she finally woke, her perception of the world was brighter, even for one such as herself. More colour, things that were almost impossible to spot previously was clear as the night sky. She was ready for her next task... What ever that could be

Albion, The Eye |

I wrote a blurb:
He sees gods not as masters, but as frameworks - mythic expressions of natural laws. Lolth culls the weak; Urgathoa defies decay. Zak doesn’t pray - he studies, he experiments, and when necessary, he kills.
Where most drow sharpen blades, this one sharpens questions. He believes that alchemy is the study of potential - physical, mental, and magical. Each extract he distills is a refinement of will. Each poison, a reminder that all flesh fails. The right formula in the right hands can reshape a battlefield - or end a life without a whisper.
He’s also no stranger to violence. A few months in the sparring pits, a few years in the tunnels - he knows how to use a spear, a fist, or a chokehold when a conversation won’t do.
In the web of Menzoberranzan, Zak might be a problem-solver for House Baenre - the one they send when subtler hands are required. His methods aren’t orthodox, but they’re effective. Whispers follow him, but so does protection - perhaps from a politically savvy priestess cousin or sister who uses him as a discreet blade. Maybe she even agrees with his philosophies, though she could never admit it without risking her own standing.
He isn’t chasing glory or redemption. He’s not trying to change the world. But in a place where you either adapt or die, he’s decided to be the one doing the dissecting - not the one on the table.

As cliche as it sounds, I'm thinking of rebuilding Nathrae into a Ranger.
Specifically, a Sword-Devil ranger. It can be reflavoured as a 'Sword-Spider' ranger to better fit in with the Forgotten Realms.
Would that be acceptable?

I hadn't thought of that--reading over the Sword-Devil and the Vanguard, it says that Favored Enemy or Studied Target bonuses don't overlap, but they use whichever is higher. I suppose that'd be a GM call as to whether they stack or not.
BTW, GM, are we using Traits? I don't see anything regarding them in the CharGen rules.

Yeah, I forgot about traits. You can use two traits, I'll allow Campaign Traits from the Way of the Wicked AP or the Hell's Vengeance AP, as long as they are generic. Be sure to link them, because I don't have both APs.

Hey Dragoncat, OSW is putting forward a Vanguard Slayer - the archetype allows the sharing of the studied target bonus. Are these cumulative with the bonus from the Sword-Devil? Just wondering if there could be any future overlap.
At this stage I’m not sure I’ll be submitting anything:
A) It looks like you already have enough to make a roster of black-blooded scions to wreak havoc in the underdark - and the ones posited seem good both in terms of party role and narrative theme. I’m not really wanting to enter into competition to be honest.
B) Making characters for PF1 is time-consuming (at least the way I do it!) and I’m not sure I can manage it…
C) If I were to overcome A and B, I’m actually leaning now toward something with a bit more….bite to it - like a Hunter with a spider companion - essentially an enslaved “specialty operator” held by the House for special missions. Which is a bigger statblock…

Taelith Odara of the fallen house (Oblodra) has her crunch essentially done except for tallying up the gear total, I went heavy Drow on item selection. It's not quite like anything I have played in a LONG time and even that character was Neutral not evil so if I get selected, it should be interesting.
Hung out with the wife later than expected so just too damned tired to write out that background. That i will get done tomorrow so my submission is complete.

Taelith Odara - Oblodra |

Got stuck at work longer than expected tonight.
The abridged background to be expanded this week:
Her Psionic abilities did not manifest as early as the Matron Mother would have liked and was considered a failure. However, Taelith had a mean streak and her older Brother Kimmuriel saw some potential there, he just believed she needed the right place to embrace her unique style of manifestation.
Kimmuriel suggested that the Matron Motehr send her to Undrek'Thoz, to train with a monastic order known as the Blackened Fist. The Matron skeptical agreed because what else use was the damned girl?
She spent a few decades honing her skills as a Monk, taking an interest in obscure Forms that would blend what she knew was a martial bent towards manifestation. Fortunately. Unfortunately. Whatever ones opinion may be, before she could return to her House in Menzoberranzan and begin her proper psionic training, the entire House was thrown into the Clawrift by Matron Baenre.
Kimmuriel had not forgotten about her though and retrieved her from the Monks, who may well have kept her as monthly payments for her training were about to dry up!
After a long conversation with Jarlaxle about why she should be admitted into Bregan D'aerthe, she was instead placed INTO House Baenre! She thought for sure she would be slain or sacrificed to the spider queen, but instead she was placed into duties to handle dangerous troubleshooting work. Perhaps using her Mother's Maiden name instead of her House name kept her under the radar.
Sink or swim Kimmuriel told her, so far, if you asked her, she'd say she's just treading water...
