REPAIRING THE SIGIL
After defeating the demons, you can repair the damage to the temple. As you approach the central stone sigil, Sharkskin's blood has spread to the far reaches of it. Coracle Jibs and Keriassa peer into the crack and identify that this crack leads directly to the Outer Rifts.
Coracle Jibbs's Religion (T): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Keriassa's Religion (T): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Coracle Jibbs's Fortitude (E): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
Keriassa's Fortitude (T): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
A bat-like demon called a Vrolikai peeks at them and tries to use its death-stealing gaze upon them, but the pair shake it off.
★ ---- ★ ---- ★ ---- ★
Resealing the sigil requires opening the chest and uncovering the Forked Key that you recovered earlier. The artifact can be cleansed with a successful Average Arcana, Nature, Religion, or Occultism check that takes 10 minutes.
Want to give it a try?

Erastil blows a big raspberry at Keri, but fortunately Gnimish manages to (just barely) get the key stabilized.
It is time to reseal the sigil. You can use Arcana, Nature, Occultism or Religion, and those of you without those skills can aid with Athletics or Thievery.
Want to give it a try? This is the last skill check.

**HOUSE GM ANNOUNCEMENT**
The seal snaps back into place deep underwater. The water recedes just as quickly as it came, washing away the remaining demons as it drains. On the altar, the lighting rod-shaped Forked Key reverberates with power as it absorbs the amber light spilling from the seal. After a minute of it draining the light slowly, the Forked Key lies still with the barrier restored.
Eando Kline sighs deeply, before he turns to Calisro and says, “Next time, let’s avoid releasing ancient demons. We can stick to sea monsters.”
Calisro gives a hearty laugh before looking at the remains of the battle. “I think we’ve all earned some grog and shore leave. Let’s get back on Snappy and to Port Peril.”
Eando places a hand on Calisro’s shoulder to quiet her. “One final loose end.”
The sharkskin-wearing nephilim slinking through the temple stops.
“Don’t be too scared,” he says. “Well, maybe a little. You nearly unleashed horrors onto this plane that should’ve been sealed. If you’re willing to make amends, I’ll take you aboard. There’s room for all types here. I know Callie could always use a good captain, provided you stop unsealing ancient artifacts meant to be forgotten forever.”
Sharkskin pauses for a second, then steps forward and shakes Eando’s hand, saying, “Seems like a fair deal. Don’t plot to kill me and I’ll call it even.”
I’d like to extend a giant thank you to all the GMs that ran this year’s Special, and all the players that came out to vanquish evil on the High Seas. I hope everyone had fun and will make running and playing in our mutli-table specials a regular tradition. Thank you all!

"Yarrr!"
Thus concludes our pirate tale of adventure and demon slaying!
I would love it if all of you could provide an outro talking about your adventures on the way to your home lodge. Happy sailing to all of you!
In the background there are sailors singing "Yo, Ho, Ho and a bottle of rum! At last we killed that demon scum!" The party goes on all night.
The End
Hugs,

Well Chirrit says as the kobold pulls out a cloth to pat down and dry off their scales. That was certainly something. I expected battling the elements and elementals but demons? That shook up the journey a bit more than expected.
For what it's worth it was good adventuring with all of you. But, and I mean no offense, I for one could use a break. Something relaxing, maybe a carnival or something. I'd say we should all treat ourselves too - the last few days we've earned it.

Coracle has already grabbed a tankard of grog from the stores being opened to celebrate the expedition's victory. "It was a small army of Pathfinders going willingly into the Eye of Abendego. It was bound to get weird," the catfolk says with exaggerated gravity, before taking a long pull from his drink, then laughing heartily. "The gods of luck have smiled on us today, mateys, so let's thank them by being merry!" He starts dancing to the sailors' song, with a grace born more of natural athleticism than any real skill at dancing.
