Yes, she's basically try to prevent that cameracrew from going anywhere. Any roll needed?
| Game Master S |
I like the creativity of the gambit. I'll take Bluff or Perform a relevant Profession skill. While you're not an official "Celebrity" yet, I'll lower the DC because of your Icon Theme.
Zoey Strawberry

Yeah, by no means would I imply Zoey is famous, only her sister has vaguely heard of her ;-). In her own head she is really famous...
Profession(Artist/AbadarCorp Trainee): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22
| Game Master S |
I'm terribly sorry. I didn't see an update to this thread!
Zoey works her budding magic and gets the camera crew interested in her. Radat, clearly frustrated snaps, "This isn't good viewing. the people want drama! Come on. Let's go. This is stupid."
| Game Master S |
Where to now agents? there's plenty of show left!
| Game Master S |
Normally I like to wait for a second vote on a plan, but I feel bad for missing out on a few days momentum, nad I know you're going everywhere anyway :-)
The party sneaks towards the green room. Gig's heart drops. What should be a time of anticipation is one of chaos. The bands are disorganized and don’t know where to go or when they’ll be on stage.
Before you can even begin to figure out how to help, a massive uplifted bear approaches you. "Miss Lita Starr requests your presence in her dressing room. The matter is urgent."
Help organize backstage and ignore the request of the great Lita Starr? You did just save her from embarrassment.
Gig Razerbyte
|
"What in the world are you folks doing? Don't you realize that there is a show about to happen, and you are in it?! Come on, pull yourselves together. How can I help?"
Gig looks for ways of assisting the disorganized bands.
Zoey Strawberry
|
Deedee always says 'When a bear says something is urgent, you better get out of the woods' Zoey flaps out, and then shrugs, as if to say 'I don't know what that means either'.
Psst... Mister Gig... Shouldn't we help Miss Starr? She's a big Star. She's even called that way!
Skiratrisk
|
"I think we should go help Lita Starr, if she's specifically asking for us. Maybe we can help organize around here afterward?"
| Game Master S |
With a nod, the large bodyguard leads you to her dressing room. A female verthani and another uplifted bear bodyguard are hunched over a table, carefully autographing headshots of Lita with her name.
Lita looks up from her comm unit and smiles brightly. “Hey! Thanks for the assist earlier. I appreciate it. Since you've helped me once, may help me a second time? I need to get all these pictures autographed before the show starts so I can make sure every fan gets one! Go ahead and grab a pen and get signing. Using a real pen instead of a stamp adds an air of authenticity, don’t you think?”
α-CloudChatI.Q.Prime
|
"Certainly, although would it not be even more authentic if you were the one to do the signing?"
Nevertheless, despite their statement, α-CloudChatI.Q.Prime does a nanometre-accurate scan of one of her signatures, and then does their best to replicate them.
Sleight of Hand (seems the most appropriate?): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18.
| Game Master S |
Alpha's work is solid, and Lita gives a wide smile, "Thank you! Here, here are some that I myself signed! Consider it a thank you!"
Not a moment too soon, as Gig seems to be itching to go help! It's going to take a little know how and/or charisma to get everyone herded together. Culture or Diplomacy

Hello Everybody! This is bright and sparkling Zoey and I'm here to figure out where you guys must be going! Everything is going to be fine, there is nothing to worry about! She says, not knowing that is the best way to make people consider there might actually be something to worry about...
Can you all just please raise a hand if your name is called? Ok?! We start with the numbers, and then we'll go alphabetically, and then special characters, alright? Oh, Please don't be sad mister &-R-tain, I have to call everybody in some order...

Zoey has little trouble getting the cats herded! The only one she can't seem to wrangle is K1ng Ch0rd... A ysoki approaches the party looking distraught. "Um.... I'm Vedla, K1ng Ch0rd's manager. We have a problem. K1ng Ch0rd would like to see you in his dressing room."
It's a short walk since you're already backstage. When you arrive, K1ng Ch0rd is wearing a paper bag over his head. When he hears you come in, he explains, "My one‑of‑a‑kind vidscreen helmet is missing and I can’t go onstage without it. My helmet is part of my celebrity persona; furthermore, it enables me to protect my identity and keep my private and public lives separate. I think someone stole it on purpose. No way I could lose it. Can you look around the complex and find it?"
My posting will be sporadic at best through Friday afternoon. If you celebrate, happy Thanksgiving!

Where did you last put it? Zoey asks, and just to be clear adds On your head doesn't count!
She starts looking around the backstage room...
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 Does she look good? Yes. Does she look well? No.
| Game Master S |
The party looks around to no avail. That is until Gorf finds it tucked into a coiled mess of cables. This was not left here by accident... You can return the mask and call it a job well done, or start poking around for more answers (via Sense Motive.)
Zoey Strawberry
|
Sensemotive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
You found it! Neat! Zoey says cheerfully All is well that ends well!
Gorf Repus, in space!
|
Gorf feels a little lost as he tries to help round up more answers.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
| Game Master S |
While Gorf and Zoey are simply excited at the find, Alpha and Gig feel like this is a prank... a somewhat cruel prank... Radat. Unfortunately, it looks like he's gone now.
In looking around though, you see a distraught drow woman. She's strikingly beautiful, but weirdly has eye make-up on only one eye. When she sees Gig looking, she mistakes his curiosity for an offer of help.
"Someone bumped into Me and broke my eyeshadow palette while getting ready! I need someone... you... to get me a replacement immediately! I use Scandal’s Ninefold Midnight—nothing else will do!" Easiest success is a Disguise check (note you must have a kit to do this.) I'll also take a harder Sleight of Hand check or a relevant Profession check. you can also rebuff her in order to go to one of the other locations.
Zoey Strawberry
|
Got plenty of skill, but no kit :(. Is going shopping an option?
| Game Master S |
You can make a Culture ccheck to see if you know the answer.... You can also make a FORT save to represent hustling from store to store as quickly as you can.
α-CloudChatI.Q.Prime
|
Using the pieces of the palette that are still salvageable, α-CloudChatI.Q.Prime does their best to at least complete the woman's current make-up.
Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28.
| Game Master S |
It's not easy, but Alpha manages to scrape enough together to pull it off. "Hey! That's not half bad! Here, take this. I was thinking about wearing it out there, but I've changed my mind. Consider it a token of my appreciation." She hands Alpha a 10' long ribbon latticed with a spiderweb pattern of wires.

Miaow! Zoey says in agreement
Zoey Strawberry
|
No! Zoey says without conviction. Maybe?
Gig Razerbyte

"No!" Zoey says without conviction. Maybe?
"Do you think we should walk stealthily like a cat on the catwalk? All jesting aside, let's watch our step in case we get up too high. They don't exactly make railing for ysoki. They are pretty easy to slip under if you are small."
| Game Master S |
Okay, I'm back and terribly sorry for the delay.
There isn't too much going on in the catwalks. There really isn't room for there to be a crowd. Still you quickly see an opportunity to help.
The tech crew is making final adjustments to the sound and lighting systems. To help with this task, success at an acrobatics check or Computers check.
Zoey Strawberry
|
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Miaow! Zoeys says as she climbs into the lighting system. She is defying gravity, or at least trying to, and tries to squeeze herself through like a liquid, all the while making purring and miaowing sounds. She's probably getting a bit too distracted by all the wires and laser pointers, though.
Skiratrisk
|
"Finally, something I can help with!"
Skiratrisk hops up to the lighting to help get it into place.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
| Game Master S |
Excited for the straightforward task, the party sets to work. The cable management brings a tear to Gig's eye, and Skiratrisk gives a show unto itself!
Things are going swimingly. Where to?
Zoey Strawberry

Let's go guys!
Service Area, then lobby?
Zoey Strawberry

♫ Follow me, act like me
Everybody follow me! ♫
Zoey sings as she struts off to the Service Area
♫ Boop beep

| Game Master S |
With a song, the party heads over to the service area. And we begin with a Perception check!
