Seems like the Lashunta here were playing Professor... Maybe impersonating some famous one. Not sure if they were them, or just loved to play them.
Oh, and look! There is a witchwyrd that looks like Zhaneni he adds after looking at the picture.

Blinky makes his way to the next room.
Arrow marking the way
| DM Kludde |
The next door opens to a large laboratory, which is strictly organized, with worktables arranged in a tight grid. On the tables sit a variety of equipment for chemical analysis, some stored in metal or noqual cages. Racking on the west wall holds glassware and samples of a gray-green stone. A desk in the northwest corner holds a variety of paperwork and an outdated computer.
The computer is password protected, which makes it the first laboratory computer in a while that is.
Showing the other room as well...
The other room is a large training room with a padded floor. Along the walls stand racks with a wide variety of practice weapons as well as archaic diagrams of martial arts poses. In the middle of the training area is a robotic training dummy. It’s once-bland synthetic features look well-beaten and melted.
“Hello, Freyan. the robot says as the first adventurers enters the room Are you here to chat or engage in a training session?”
| DM Kludde |
The computer contains a folder called 'Finitrium processing', which contains technical notes, processing steps and other pieces of information that is a regular treasure trove of information. Society brass will be most interested in this.
There's also a folder with private messages, one of which is particularly interesting (See handout)
Chorizal
|
With the exciting part of the mission (probably) over, Chorizal settles down for the boring part.
Though, as the group scatters to explore, he heads over to the vault and takes a crack at cracking it.

Erm ... there's a lot of information here. I'm just uploading it all to my datapad. Lots of information on Finitrium processing, and several private messages. It may also be an idea to find out what that grey/green rock is .... sir
| DM Kludde |
Blinky blinks at the robot "Just here for a chat. What did we have on the agenda for today?"
We have nothing planned for today, Freyan. You said you would be busy in the extractory all day. Would like a training session now?
You can keep chatting with the robot, or explore one of the two remaining rooms.
Eselar
|
Let explore the rest of the complex and we will come back later to chat with the robot.

J'Shun leads the team to the last door.
| DM Kludde |
The last door on this floor is locked, but no match for the combined skills of the starfinders.Shelves full of neatly labeled boxes line the north wall of this reinforced chamber. On two desks lie stacks of paperwork, scales, microscopes, and other examination tools.
Most of these objects are Ulumbian. None are notably valuable and none have been stored here long.
The paperwork reveals this facility has been in operation for nearly a century and was founded by Brinaya.
A few other names appear on the paperwork, most recently Freyan and Davaine. Davaine’s notes are curt and professional, but clearly written with little love. Freyan’s notes are prone to exaggeration and assumptions, but it’s obvious the author is passionate about Ulumbian culture.
Nearly all the catalogued artifacts are Ulumbian, and all have been marked as either “destroyed” or “processed.” All the processed artifacts are listed as constructed of finitrium. Those artifacts catalogued here that aren’t Ulumbian were clearly worth a lot of credits and are listed as “sold.”
| DM Kludde |
There's one more room, so let's post that one too!
The last room reveals two exploration buggies, which are parked in the middle of this garage.
Racks on the west wall hold a variety of heavy digging equipment, tools for servicing the vehicles, and motorcycle helmets. Large garage doors exit north to Blanchet Street. A light above the steel door in the east wall flashes red.
For some reason, the walls in this room are soundproofed.

I would be keen to finish crawling through this place in slow time now that we have cleared the enemies - just to make sure we didn't miss any background/storyline - and also get back to that personal assistant/gym trainer and see what other info was there. Just as happy to have it in summary if that is a thing, just interested to know exactly what was going on here...!

Blinky 'Bamboozle' Bluegum

All good - will await the summary, was a pretty cool adventure and I am really liking the season so far!
| DM Kludde |
Great job, starfinders, Arvin says as he receives the debrief. Alvina is there, and is impressed by what the group achieved. There was more than enough evidence to show that Onshore perverted local laws to sabotage archaeological investigations.
And Brinaya Alvina says, pointing to the 'family picture' or Organisation founders, has been confirmed dead. I never thought her grandchildren would be running the place. I think we can now safely close the book on her descendants.
It's now also clear Arvin says, why the Organisation is so focused on the Ulumbians artefacts, and that the Organization has suppressed information on the Ulumbians for a century, fostering a false narrative around their history. There's hope even that one day we can puzzle together the Ulumbian's real history.
And with that, the chronicles are ready! Let me know if everything is in order. Also, if you have further questions about the plot, just ask them here.

"Graverobbers and cultural vandals - glad they have been stopped" Blinky comments bitterly.
"Great working with your team Space Admiral, and would happily wade into battle with Captain Chorizal" Blinky snaps off a salute, then goes back to sipping tea.
"And nice working with the rest of you, it was a really worthwhile mission"
Amy Mercury
|
On the way back, Amy decides to needle the Space Admiral by dropping the uniform disguise and wearing her 'battle bikini' or other swimsuits on the trip. She does, however, spend some time sparring with her staff to learn to use it properly - just in case.
As far as I am concerned ... sir ... we're off mission and I'm resting is her excuse.
She's a bit disappointed though that there wasn't time to go diving on the planet.

At parting, Shari hands out a business card to everyone. If you want to earn extra money by streaming the murders of such creatures as these grandchildren, text to me. Then she turns her attention to J'Shun Kay. You are a very worthy military commander, my Admiral. Shari runs her finger over his shoulder and leaves only once languidly looks around, saying with her lips, see you later...
J'Shun Kay

J'Shun is ostunned speechless by, Shari.
"Commander Misraria..."
Rarely has the Space Admiral ever been at a loss for words.
Chorizal
|
"Nice not being the biggest guy getting shot at for once," Chorizal says, giving Blinky a return salute and a hearty handshake. "If you ever need someone to watch your back while you play in the dirt on a dangerous world, give me a call."
He for one, is certainly not upset that Amy spends the return trip "at ease." In fact, he spends part of the voyage writing up a rather long (though not necessarily coherent or convincing) memo pointing out the merits of miniskirts as an option for the Starfinder Navy official uniform.
"Sounds like easy money to me," Chorizal replies to Shari.
Amy Mercury
|
Amy accepts Shari's card and tucks it away. She actually does have a few ideas for what she'd like to do but since it doesn't involve death or pain it might be a bit tame for Shari's customers. It actually involves the opposite even though it would be rather ....... kinky.
If Shari wants to know, PM Amy
