I've posted my withdrawal from the other game, so here's my hunter.

Kala has bonuses vs. cold conditions and cold effects. She and her bear, Smelly, have the Coordinated Distraction feat, which increases the DC to cast spells defensively.
Don't laugh--she has the Masterwork Transformation spell. That's because she's using her grandfather's treasured warhammer, Orc Brains, but it was a mundane weapon. She couldn't bear to give it up now that she can afford to upgrade weapons, so she learned this spell. She'll be replacing it at her next opportunity, but in the meantime if anyone wants to do a quickie upgrade to any mundane item you have, let me know. Masterwork socks, anyone? Totally worth it!

Turns out iI don't have that figurine of wondrous power yet. After some research, I'm probably not going to get it. Navi has no need for a flanking partner, it costs a feat or two to get figurine of wondrous power as an animal companion, and it's only a CR 4 creature. Plus, it's 10,000 gold pieces. Not worth it.

To me, modules are the toughest to GM as far as setting up the beginning of the adventure; unlike PFS scenarios, a good many of modules are written without mention of, or regard to, PFS (and the chronicles don’t usually come with the module, they were made after the module was published, sometimes long after, and have to be downloaded). This one appears to in the same pattern; we’re not assigned to be here, we just happen to be by coincidence, something happens, we investigate…

Kala and Smelly try to flank foes and protect vulnerable people. They have Coordinated Distraction, Ferocious Loyalty, and Outflank.
Kala uses 1 minute of an appropriate Animal Focus per fight and when it would make sense during skill checks. She has the Bludgeoner feat for dealing nonlethal damage.
The tricks Smelly knows are in the Statistics spoiler on his character sheet.

I'm back from Scout Camp. Catching up.
Kala can cast lesser restoration, remove sickness, and purify food and drink. All tangential but not exactly what we need.
Though I'd like to make an argument for purify food and drink. Since the description says it makes "poisonous" food and drink suitable for eating and drinking, could Kala cast it multiple times all over the treant's body to purify the liquids inside it so they're not poisonous?

the Purify food and drink would work on the gourds, but not when its already running through the system, even when its been ingested its not technically a food or drink at that point, however the create water is a source that can run through and flush it out of the system

for the Gourds of Nodrim
Vinroot carries four gourds of nodrim with him and enough mash to make four more draughts with a successful Craft (alchemy) check (DC 25). Any humanoid PC sampling one of the gourds of refined nodrim must make a Fortitude save (DC 16) or suffer 1d4 points of Wisdom damage and gain the effects of barkskin (CL 7th). After the barkskin effect wears off, the drinker also permanently gains 1d8–6 inches in height (minimum 0).

How steep is that trail that goes up and around the waterfall?
I'm wondering because since Navi is a sylph and a sky druid, she has abilities like constant feather fall and can use the fly skill in place of acrobatics/jump checks. I picture her as leaping and bounding as she walks, like how a person would move on a planet with low gravity. So, would it be possible for Navi to make Jump checks up the slope instead of climb checks?

@GM: Regarding climbing up the slope...
I would have fluttered to the top of the slope first and lower a rope for the rest, noticing they were having difficulty climbing up.
Nevermind. We should have had more PC interaction/discussion.
We are 7th level after all. With all of our resources and skills, Nobody should take damage climbing a slope.

Because of the moss-slick boulders, the Climb check proves more difficult than normal (DC 20). A fall means a character slips 1d2 × 10 feet farther
down the path, resulting in 1d6 damage from scrapes and bruises per 10 feet slid.
the damage isn't from the fall specifically though as for the the fly/jump, the way that reads and I could be reading it differently then how it sounds, but its not a "walking" path

I'm leaving for a business trip today and may not be able to post again until next Friday (the 25th).
My character will try Diplomacy/Call Truce on anything she can, the try either acid splash or melee unless she has a spell that seems like it will work really well.
