Makai waits for Murph to descend from the rocks "Let me see your wounds"
[dice=Medicine, treat wounds, DC20]1d20+12
[dice=Heal]2d8+10 Continual recovery let me heal him after 10 minutes[dice=Medicine, treat wounds, DC20]1d20+12
[dice=Heal]2d8+10So 30 mins to get him in tip-top shape!
"Ok, ready to go?"
If I understand you right you're making the same mistake I originally made regarding continual recovery. It was pointed out to me that by the time the wounds have been treated the 10 minute immunity has expired. Thus continual recovery really does mean that you can use it 6 times in an hour.
Treat Wounds
You spend 10 minutes treating one injured living creature (targeting yourself, if you so choose). The target is then temporarily immune to Treat Wounds actions for 1 hour, but this interval overlaps with the time you spent treating (so a patient can be treated once per hour, not once per 70 minutes).
Continual Recovery
You zealously monitor a patient’s progress to administer treatment faster. When you Treat Wounds, your patient becomes immune for only 10 minutes instead of 1 hour. This applies only to your Treat Wounds activities, not any other the patient receives.
Since the immunity interval overlaps with the time spent treating you can treat wounds again immediately after you finish treating the first time. With continual recovery you can treat wounds on a patient 6 times in the course of an hour.
So with continual recovery those two treat wounds will take 20 minutes.

Off tramping for a few days, will be back in about three days.
Please bot as required. Often uses knowledge skills to id opponents. Goes for flanking, will use in combat healing as required.

Asking for a friend ;) Is the creature that cast the spell flying above the ground? Like out of reach? Or simply levitating?

The only creature engaged in combat is 20 feet off the ground.

@GM a question, do you think that we will be done before Gameday? I am asking as I wanted to play Makai in the special. If not I can make other arrangements ;) Running in a circle yelling: what will I do? What will I do?

I'm kind of assuming we will be. GD is more than a month away. But same question here

Just a note, I resolved ties in initiative to keep the groups in two blocks each to try to speed the pace of the game. The only change this time was moving Atae up one spot.

:D No worries initiative rolls are like pirates code, more of a guideline than actual rules
Joking, but I do it all the time ;)

If anyone knows a good way to get a hold of Atae's player, can you check on them? Their DMs are closed, so I can't do much myself. They are in one of my other games and haven't posted there in a while either.
If they do not show up before the end of this combat, I will be removing them from the game and adjusting the challenge for upcoming encounters.

For what it's worth, Atae was the MVP of the fight you missed. Welcome back.

I am sorry, got bannws for 2 weeks for complaining about CS.
What CS stands for? The only thing that it connects with in my head are: Computer Science and Counter Strike :D

I assumed it was Computer Support.

I should have mentioned this sooner but when Meadow crits her hunted prey she gets the critical specialization for her weapon. For the bow that means the target is immobilized (interact DC 10 to remove the immobilized condition) and for the rapier the target is flat footed until the start of my next turn. I think this fight is likely over so it won't make much difference right now. This is my first game played with this ability so I didn't remember I had it until now.

Generally I don't want to discourage people from talking with potential enemies, but this specific scenario has a lot of encounters, most of which say to start combat as soon as the PCs show up, and I want to have this done before Gameday. So, sorry, but you need to either beat these guys up or run away.

THere's basically no chance any more that these characters won't be available for Gameday.

This concludes Mistress of the Maze. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. We will see/have seen more of the Maze of the Open Road in Fate in the Future.
As a note, you did not earn full rewards for this scenario. You failed the secondary success condition - if you do not harvest the crystals, you can negotiate with the axiomite, and Meadow critically failed the check to figure this out. You also lost one treasure bundle from the area where you had to make checks to move: failing the checks or using saves instead of skills too many times on one resulted in the fight against the janni, and the second time cost you a treasure bundle (you did well enough in the last area to keep the other bundle from that encounter). If you have a boon that would allow you to regain these rewards, please let me know in the next 24 hours so I can make sure everyone's chronicle and reporting are accurate.
Yes, this sucks. If anyone has done the Eyes of the Ten series, I have a character who failed to get the good boon from part 4 because of a failed check in part 1, so I know how this feels.

Hey GM, I do not have such a boon, and I am fine with not getting full rewards ;) It is fine. I enjoyed the scenario, it was full of fights ;) I was not expecting that.
I really liked the encounter with that goblin who pretended the halfling, and I was surprised to see the body of the halfling at the end. I am glad that we did not meet the real one :D

This was fun, I don't really pay attention to boons so not having one is not a big deal.
Thanks to the GM and my fellow players!

There is an AcP boon to get you back your treasure bundle. Let me know if you buy it.
Treasure Bundle Insurance Limited-use recovery of a missed Treasure Bundle. Must be Admired by any Faction to purchase.

I am OK with the reduced number of treasure bundles.
Thanks for running. This was an interesting bit of time travel, as this character had already received credit for Fate in the Future.

Did we lose out on reputation as well?
| cmlobue |
Yes, that was from the secondary success condition. No taking crystals -> negotiating with axiomite.
