It may be for the best that Isaiah isn't on screen at the moment.
I'd really tear him up a fair bit that he actually would know of at least some answers to several of these problems, but would be obligated not to mention them unless directly asked. Probably does still tear him up, if Horizon is still using the bugged comms gear.
That said, I'm still lurking around a bit if someone needs to rent a Deus ex Machina from Isaiah/Inquiry. And they may start trying to low key trying to help out the Mongrels at least. Isaiah, for one, doesn't care one bit what they look like or how inhuman they are, and is perfectly capable of giving them a home.
Hmm, they're pretty similar in powerset and combat style. Isaiah/Inquiry used their vessel (which is actually a slightly confusing relationship for them; their brain and vital components are actually in the ship, the Isaiah frame is a remotely piloted drone) in combat quite a lot, and got plenty of mileage out of freeform shapeshifting.
Attitudes don't exactly match up though. Inquiry/Isaiah weren't much for initiating conversations a lot of the time, and actually probably held the position of the most mentally and emotionally stable member of the team. Well, discounting the compulsive bugging of every electronic commination device they came within five feet of. Though there is certainly still a shared aspect of 'not-quite-human in mindset'.
In terms of external influence they were probably actually the inverse. Femtite is a paragon of her people, possibly the only one of them able to interact directly with the larger world. Inquiry/Isaiah is a relatively low-ranking infiltration/observation unit from an ancient, Kardashev 2.5+ magitech precursor civilization, held back primarily by regulations and restrictions on how much he was allowed to say and do (which was actually why they try to get people to ask them; they're allowed to say more if directly asked for the information than when volunteering it, to encourage people to ask the right questions).

If you’re following, Femtite’s paragonish status may not be what she thought it was. Might be a while before the Discord RP is done, so maybe a Part 1 is needed.

Belong in two Worlds:2d6 + 3 ⇒ (4, 5) + 3 = 12 This is for Femtite’s stay from Monday through Friday. Rolling now in case I spend a hold or two on Saturday.
He thinks this mage is being a bit of a pompus fool, not because he's trying to up local magic levels (Isaiah is actually fine with that), but because this is easily one of the more hare-brained and destructive methodologies to go about it.
Of course, he comes from a civilization that was well acquainted with terraforming and manaforming, and so acknowledges he might be biased. But even without that expertise, he would think people should know that major changes like upping the magic level of a world should be done gradually, not via a shock method. Is he trying to give everyone mana poisoning from the sudden exposure?
And regardless, if your plan is something that sensible people would want to stop you over, since you didn't ask anyone else what they wanted and are executing it with severe levels of collateral damage and kidnapping, it should probably be reevaluated.
It's a bit interesting. I can tell that I'm missing things, but the story remains at least largely coherent. But hey, Inquiry/Isaiah may be spying on you all, but they aren't going to do it all the time. Just when something important is happening. So it's also a bit immersive!
There will be quite a few spoilers from Discord RPs dropping in as time passes!
Unfortunately, I never did post the scenes with Femtite and her mothers*. Maybe I’ll eventually put in the time to post a Paizo-friendly version of a conversation that players have not yet seen. It will be relevant when I change playbooks. (Harbinger!)
*But it makes sense that Isaiah couldn’t spy on the most prominent queen of a subatomic race, and her sole heir.
PtM:2d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2, 6) + 3 + 1 = 12 • what are you really planning?
• how can I get Chastity to be honest with Maeve about her attraction to girls (me in particular)?
