I would say a successful Demolish trick would be enough to cut the grapnel line.

The little dinosaur rushes forward to slash a rope. It must be a bad rope, since his Koani told him to slash it. Bad rope, bad!
Per Koani's command, the rope finally gets what is coming to it and the line snaps under the dino's sharp teeth! Only a single grapnel tethers the two ships to one another.
Koani's arrow narrowly misses its mark.
Sirius now realizes he's gotten hemmed in; he does not like that, he does not like that at all.
With a twist of his wrist, and a glint of steel...
The thug (red) gives a smile, believing he has the better of the sylph. But his grin turns to gritted teeth as he feels a sudden warmth fill his beard. It is only when he steps back to see its source that he feels the steel blade exit the fresh wound in his neck. He does not feel the sensation long as he is dead before he even hits the wooden boards below.

@Lauranna: apologies for overlooking your buff; usually the GM puts them in the initiative tracker to make them 'official' so I wasn't sure they were active or not yet...
Inspired by Lauranna's song, Zzorn sidesteps to the northwest and then tries to tackle the yellow-haired archer overboard.

No worries. This is not an unexpected issue in Mathfinder, for supporting characters and it plays into the Lauranna's role as a comedic, 4th wall-breaker. ;)
