Fluent in so many languages, Pip studies the rune looking for ways to shift its meaning. "If I just add this curve, I can shift the meaning from Eviscerate to Exonerate!"

Bardyth puts his hands back on his Glaive, and then confirms Pip's suspicion, Striding to within 15ft of the Spirit and then taking a swing.

Bailiff wishes he were a cat, so that he could really make a show of ignoring trolls. When a cat is ignoring you, EVERYONE knows it!

But he's just a dog, so he whimpers while he watches Bardyth enter the Ring of Fire.

Ionic, not having much better to do except to fight things, marks the spirit as his prey as he ducks and rolls under the chained troll's attacks. "So, time ta go fa da spirit? Good fa me!"

He then takes one last roll and starts to sprint for the fire circle.
Will Save: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18

He is not ready for the fire circle though as it sears through his mind and then flesh with necrotic flames.
Fire Damage with Ring of Resistance: 2d6 - 5 ⇒ (1, 5) - 5 = 1
Necrotic damage, w/ Aeon stone Resonance: 1d8 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
He gets a mild burn that quickly festers into an open wound.

Rushing up to what looks like a rift in the ground he pauses for a millisecond trying to decide how to proceed. He then rushes off towards the spirit as best he can.
Not sure if Ionic can run across what looks like a giant rift in the center of the circle. If he can then he'll move to be adjacent to the spirit. If he can't then he'll run along the rift instead. I've put two semi-tranparent tokens to mark the possible placements.
