Keeping the comms intentionally open, Harmony very loudly says "Laanok, I want you to hit the asteroid next to them as warning!"

She opens a video-only channel to the gunner's terminal and shakes her head "no" while she's saying the above and uses her hands to point at the vesk , makes a gun with one and a ship looking figure with the other, indicating that he should still shoot them.

Overly complicated RP way of saying I'm Taunting the other ship!

The enemy starship flew first, burning for the safety of the asteroid cluster expecting for you to fly on them from the front, but Twila-4 did surprise them. Despite his best effort, Scruffy was unable to divert the power. He is not sure where it went but not to the engines.
Mel scanned the asteroids and found that there is a hidden turret amongst the rocks, which she was able to cut of from power. I will mark the deactivated turret on the map later on.
Harmony-6 taunted the enemy gunner, who was impacted by it, but his aim was to good for it to have an impact.

Tik shots from the coilgun was almost accurate, the enemy pilot predicted his aim and dodged the shots.

Despite his best effort Laanok was unable to take a shot due to lack of cannons from that side. The whole team could have heard the Vesk scream

Ouch! I rolled nat 20 for their gunnery check with 15 points of damage on 4d4 :(

The enemy ship turns around in front of the asteroids and flies towards the Loreseeker. The turret on top of the River rat shredded through the front shields of the Starfinder ship and damaged the hull. For a moment the lights flickered and red lights began to shine. Quick glance at the computers told you that Life Support is glitching.

During that, Scruffy was able to restore some of the aft shields, while Mel was able to locate the second hidden turret and disable it. She is fairly confident that there are no more turrets there.

Tik opens fire wiping out enemy front shields and hitting their hull.

Crit is possible but does not do extra damage: Damage => Long story short, if a gunner roll nat 20 and the damage hits the hull it trigger a critical damage effect. The same as when you cross the critical threshold. If a science officer will use an action to target given system then 19 and 20 are crits and you don't roll for the effect but rather the target system suffers.

With or without the life support Harmony-6 is aiding Twila-4 in her work. Twila-4 is moving the ship just a bit but keeps evading enemy gunner. Enemy missed

Small portion of the shields restored by River rat is blown to pieces by Tik impeccable shooting and does more damage to the hull. Thanks to your sensors you can see that some of the damage is more severe than it looked at glance.

The Ysoki engineer was able to restore the damaged shields in the starboard arc. Just like Scruffy was able to restore in Loreseeker.

@Scruffy - when restoring it would be good for you to say how you want them distributed. I went ahead and put it in the arc that you will be targeted.

The enemy pilot tried to dodged but failed in doing so which the whole Ysoki crew felt when Tik opened fire. Laanok was not that successful in missing his shot, maybe the lack of evading from the enemy distracted him.

With the encouragement from Harmony-6, Tik wrecked enemy shields and did some damage to the enemy turret which is not turning as smoothly as it used to. Crit, enemy gunner will get -2 penalty

The enemy shots have also found their mark-making a few more holes in the hull. Hit for 10 damage. 8 goes to the newly restored shield by Scruffy 2 into the hull.

Mel was able to predict enemy movements helping Twila-4 to get an upper hand next round

I'm actually fairly certain I don't get to pick where it goes. The power is distributed evenly with the excess going to the forward shields. Rebalancing lets you move points around.

Fingers dancing over the weapons console, Tik fires as soon as the location Mel marked comes into the crosshairs. Another burst of hypervelocity projectiles tears through the River Rat's shields and into the enemy vessel's engine room.

We gotta finish this or we'll die a death by a thousand cuts. Twila-4 arcs around an asteroid, swerving unpredictably as she brings the intact port side around to face the River Rat. Gotta get our port along their starboard stat!

At this time the Starfinders worked like a well-oiled machine. Twila-4 was comfortable evading the enemy gunner shooting. Scruffy was able to regain some of the power into their shields. Mel aided targeting which helped Tik, encouraged by Harmony-6, to deal serious damage to the River Rat. Targeting by Mel caused, 19 rolled by Tik to be critical.

Even before Laanok was able to shot the lights on the River Rat turned off, and the ship began to drift.

Combat is over!

After few heartbeats, you receive a new communication this time on your screens you can see a female dwarf still with goggles on her forehead

"Nice flying, Starfinders. That ought to teach those skulking thieves to keep away from what isn’t theirs! Now then, as promised, we’ll send you the one chunk of the tablet they didn’t get their grubby hands on. And after you get that, we get to sweep the station for any other ‘surprises’ they might have left behind."

She looks to the side and nods her head to something

"If we will find any traces of the remaining tables on the station we will let you know. "

After getting your hands on the second tablet you reach out to Venture-Captain Arvin

"I've sent you the third and last dream that you saw previously in my office." Please have a look at the Handout 3

"We got some information from the Silverbrew Clan after they regained control on their stations. One of the three tablets that they discovered there they kept and gave to you, but it seems that the remaining two pieces were sold by Mr. Smiles to Karelite Bogdin from Verces. One of them was stolen by Lerecti whom you met on Aballon. So it seems that you should head towards Verces and recover the last tablet."

Arvin opens something on his computer and says

"Keep the Loreseeker, for now, it might make your travel faster. Beware that verthani Karelite. If the allegation is true he is dipping his fingers in some nasty business. Good luck!"

You are heading towards Verces
