"Good catch, Scruffy! I've got a set of trapsmith's tools, if any of you know more about Mysticism than what I've been able to pick up."
Tik has +3 to Mysticism and can make untrained checks in it. Does anyone have a higher bonus?

"<sigh> I never learned how to disable magical traps. Let's just walk around it." Keeping her eyes peeled for any additional traps or hazards, Twila-4 pads forward into the area. Tik with trembling paws observes the trap and walks around it few times before making a move. He believes that destroying the runes would disable the trap and only it...
And it does. The protective fields stopping the methane still hold, and this place seems no longer to be active.
You hear a trembling voice
"Well, well, well. You handled the last obstacle to my chamber. If you have a key you can place it near the altar and disable the force field and take the stairs below. But if you don't I am afraid that you are losing your time." You can't seem to see the owner of the voice. But the area north from you lights up, and you can see there a place to put the sandstone tablet.

"...losing your time"? <sigh> That sounds ominous. Glancing at whoever's holding the sandstone tablets (presumably Laanok, since he's the strongest) Twila-4 shrugs. After some hesitation, you move towards the altar.
This chamber has not escaped the ravages of time. There are holes in the walls that likely once held doors, and the sandstone tiles on the floor are dirty and broken in places. Softly glowing purple runes cover the interior walls of the chamber, encircling a round altar covered in more runes in the center of the space.
As you put the tablet into the socket out of shadow in front of the altar, a form slowly coalesces, taking the shape of an ebony dragon with red frills. Its body is terribly contorted and trails shadows.
"Thank you for opening it up for me. " The dragon jumps to attack you...

I was considering how to handle it, but given that it was trying to bluff his way as a guardian of the mausoleum while in fact waiting for you to open the place I decided for a different approach. On top of that, he can be rumbling during fight
The star finders jumps onto the dragon, who for the most part laughs

Tik shot misses, but you see that Twila-4 and Laanok find their mark with their attacks.
Harmony-6 seems too distracted to successfully bluff the being.

Combat is over - well done all
After the fight, you spot that protective field keeping you out of the stairs has vanished and you can enter the last unexplored chamber. The stairs lead down to a vault where various strangely shaped bottles and cryptic devices are stored on shelves: the Dreamer’s relics that they have come to retrieve.
After gathering the items and making your way back to the ship you depart from the moon setting your course back to Absalom. On your way back you learned that what you faced was a nightmare dragon which are enemies to dreamers. Kanavu must have sent his shadow copy which was only a part of his power, which leads you to believe that Kanavu is alive and well somewhere in the galaxy...
On arrival, you meet with Venture-Captain Arvin who is overjoyed with the success of your mission and congratulates you all. He says that he is not sure what those artifacts do, but the dreamer should be able to use them.
He advises you to take some rest, before the next mission.
The End!
