I work as the program director at a local community television station. We have a couple of our volunteer producers who create programs featuring older serials and movies. One does the "horror host" thing and introduces old movies that are in the public domain.
The other features about 40 minutes of old serials.
We had to check these serials to make sure there were no advertisements that go against our policies. Thankfully there were not, but if there were it may have been considered "historically interesting" and be allowed to air.
Old Flash Gordon serials are coming up soon. I'll link them to our video on demand here once I have them processed.

Have to share a brief story with everyone:
As I may have mentioned earlier, I work at a busy downtown library. On Tuesdays this summer I will be running D&D for our teens department. This is for middle school and high school kids.
Tonight was week one. We have 90 minutes to play, so I made a quick adventure where the characters have to escape from an orc jail. Here are three highlights:
1. I had all sorts of ways listed for the kids to escape from their cells. They chose none of the ways I came up with.
The ranger used her speak with animals ability to get a bird to come through the window and get the keys off the hook while the wizards set stuff on fire to distract the two orc guards.
2. Nobody had their equipment, so they had to use spells or unarmed combat at first. One player, a boy of 11 or so, said "on my turn I run out of the cell and run up to the orc and KICK HIM IN THE BALLS!" Of course all 8 kids just cracked up.
Sigh. I did too.
3. For 90 minutes, none of the 8 kids had their noses in their phones. They sat with me at a table and talked to each other and rolled dice.

I think Hani will take Jin's advice and purchase the 3 serums and revitalite. Instead of antitoxin Hani will purchase an antibiotic so we have something that will work against any potential diseases.
Noting this, the 365 credits, and the thermal capacitor on my character sheet.
Looking at my sheet, it appears I have the space to install the thermal capacitor, so I'll do that before we enter the club. Hani will also inject the revitalite dose he purchased.
Hey everyone, sorry for dropping off the face of the bubble-city without a word. Things got rough a few weeks back and this game took the biggest hit.
Unfortunately, I think I'm going to need to withdraw from the campaign. It's been a blast, and I will miss all of you as much as I will miss Cabizo, but I can't get myself in the right headspace to play him right now - and that won't be fun for anyone else to play against. I wish you all the best, let me know if you need the Inventory spreadsheet tweaked, and best of luck finding a replacement!
It's been a blast having you here, and you'll be missed. Cabizo's a great character, and I hope you get a chance to play her again at some point in the future.

I'm so glad I didn't renew my adaptive serum before entering this room - I doubt (if Jin survives) cold resistance will be that useful on the second floor...

Have you posted that before? They have a "prevent repeated posts" mechanic where you actually need to type something to make the post different than another one.

I had that happen to me during a 10+ rounds starship combat - I was so numb I just kept posting the same action over and over and over and over until the forum forced me to write something different.

Jin stuck to soldier - at this level he gets a new combat feat, so I picked Coordinated Shot, which aligns very well with our current tactics:

Working on updating character tonight/tomorrow. Big choice is another mechanic trick. Have to decide if I am going to try to climb a tree, or choose something that would be immediately impactful.
I first read that as you thinking over whether your character would be *literally* climbing trees and whether you should therefore buff Athletics. Now I understand what you mean :)

Jin is going after the northwest one - we can split the efforts between engineering and damage dealing, perhaps take them both out in a couple of rounds only.
FYI, I am going to be on vacation from this Friday through next week. Feel free to bot me, or have my character get sick and unable to get out of bed, or whatever. :)

I guess they assume the rest of the party will aid another in all checks. Once I get an adamantine weapon we won't have to deal with any locks, though.
Just looked up the uniclamps Zharis found. Those are pretty cool.
Edit: I missed that there were some hi-cap batteries in the loots we just got. I'm going to add them to Xylian's inventory, let me know if someone else wants any.
I'm going to clean up the loot list a little later today or tomorrow. I'm going to remove individual and cheap items people have claimed like grenades, batteries, medpatches, ammunition etc. Doesn't seem worth tracking, so unless anyone objects and really wants to maintain 100% record of every single credit that gets divvied up, make sure your profiles are updated with the stuff you want to have with you. I've consolidated the list a little already, stacked multiple instances of the same item in a single row, but I can't consolidate it completely since we're carrying some of the stuff around with us and some of it is stashed on our ship or whatever. I've moved all the stuff that has currently been claimed to the USED tab to make the loot lists more digestible. I saved the spreadsheet before I edited it so let me know if you think I messed something up.
Also sledgehammers are 1050$ in Starfinder. Guess they're some kind of lost technology.
