The ysoki taps out a short message to the others on his comm unit, letting them know what he saw and what he plans to do. Then he waits for a few seconds, giving them a chance to veto the plan before he makes his move.

The ysoki puts a clawed finger to his muzzle, signaling a desire for quiet. He approaches Alejandro and murmurs, "I haven't seen any others yet in this part of the warehouse."

Istilnar and Alejandro round the corner and see a stomach-turning sight.
Biomass of some form or another covers the remaining shelves along the walls and forming aisles leading west to the office area.
Dark, living coils of some sort of biocable stretch along the floors and walls, only interrupted by small yellowish-green sacs to the south, glowing pustules and large translucent pods along the walls, and two dozen yellow eggs huddle together near the northernmost wall. A fallen shelf has eliminated most of the hanging lighting in the area, so a greenish glow and humid haze permeates this open warehouse space.
There are several Swarm busily working away who stop what they are doing at the sight of the arriving Starfinders.

The normally smooth talker is quiet as he sees the massive pack of swarm in front of him. He pulls the pin on his grenade and says simply, "We need to fall back and make them come to us."
He lobs his armed grenade into the middle of the room and moves back.

As the shadow creature attacks, Istilnar fires his plasma claw and then backs away from the melee.

Alejandro backs out slowly as the allies he can heal run away, "Uh... I just meant fall back to a good position not full retreat. Come on Tik, you can do this. It barely hit you!"
Move, Use Inspiring Boost on Tik, he gets 6 SP back to put his SP at least at full.
He hollars back in to their last teammate, "Isty, fall back when you can, bring your buddy with you if possible or at least use 'em to stall the buggers. Any doors you can shut on the way out will slow them down too!"

He suddenly seems to vanish and reappear from sight as he moves shadow nerves right into the middle of the pack of Swarm creatures.
Shadow nerves allows Istilnar to guarded step 10'.

Surrounded by the Swarm his skin emits the the most foul, disgusting, putrid odor you can imagine. stench glands
The stench glands have a 10' radius so I think it gets all the Swarm creatures and not Alejandro. Each will have to make a DC 14 fortitude save or be sickened for a number of rounds. The cloud of stench persists around Istilnar for 1 minute or until he dismisses it.

System Skin
Stench glands are a concentration of undead sweat glands located mostly in your armpits that can emit a foul, debilitating odor. As a standard action a number of times per day equal to your stench glands’ mark, you can activate the necrograft to form a 10-foot radius cloud of stench centered on you that persists for 1 minute. Living creatures that enter your cloud must succeed at a Fortitude saving throw or be sickened until they leave the cloud and for 1d4+1 rounds thereafter. A creature that succeeds at this save is unaffected by your stench for 24 hours. Creatures that do not breathe or use self-contained breathing are unaffected by your stench. You can halt the stench as a swift action.
Mk 4 and mk 5 stench glands produce a particularly loathsome funk that can drive off most creatures. After the first round of being sickened by your stench, a creature in your cloud must succeed at another Fortitude saving throw or become nauseated until it leaves your cloud, after which it is sickened for 1d6+2 rounds. A creature that succeeds at this second Fortitude save remains sickened as normal, but it must continue to attempt a Fortitude save to avoid becoming nauseated each round it remains in your cloud.
@Alejandro, throw your grenade and step back; that will then allow Tik to step into the doorway and have a clear shot.
I marked on the map roughly where the stench cloud is.

GM, May I retcon my action? Istilnar’s actions which I’m guessing are still considered ahead of Alejandro’s in initiative have changed what he should be doing. I also want to confirm that Istilnar wishes me to throw a grenade that will hit him and the three enemies.
