That's awesome.
Alright, one last piece of background. Tell me why you are in Sharn.

Could be he learns of the lord of blades and takes to that, maybe he becomes a godforged and believes in the becoming god. Maybe he finds a purpose fighting the open prejudice currently present in society, or maybe he becomes a murder hobo for hire... who knows, but it will be a purpose.

Crafting techniques that can be applied to fleshcraft are primary. Engineering work otherwise. Mira's mentor hated the houses, she'd not mind learning which and why.

Hal is in Sharn seeking a client and further contacts.
He's basically been told by the house Deneith trainers: "Go learn how to kick butt, and try to remain covert."
So, here he is, in the biggest city in the world, looking for work

Are we to have already met and have some sort of group dynamic at the start or will you be playing out our meeting.
Male Human Psion 10/Atlanteologist 10
Well, the adventure in the back of the Eberron book doesn't play out the meeting of the PCs, so I assume you've already met. Alternatively, we can play out session zero.
M Hobgoblin Fighter 1
Mane has come to Sharn based on a page in Ezmiralda's notes, a cryptic passage which included only an address- since this address is a bar where he meets (some of/all) the other PCs, he determines that these people will be important in his quest for power and knowledge to find his wife.
Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3
I'm game for putting the pieces together before we start.
Would anyone have attempted an interacting with a somewhat cynical engineer whose general pastime is taking small jobs fixing what others didn't have the skill to do right in the first place? You've probably encountered her before in the craftsman's market, getting into rows with other craftsmen, or infrequently in the library, since it's expensive to access.
Wandering the market at other times might find her discussing the value of creature parts, and a sharp nose would occasionally detect the acrid smell of chemicals.
She's earned slight favor at the bar for now, since she recommended a couple of adjustments in the kitchen without even setting foot in it, that had seen a significant change in the clientele's regard for the drinks served here.

1) I think simple is better than complex. Seems we all could have met doing some sort of spontaneous deed for a third party or one of the now group. Perhaps a tenement caught on fire and we all assisted in saving those inside and decided to have a beer afterward. Or, maybe the cynical engineer got herself in deeper than intended and the rest of us stepped in to stop a beating/flogging/shooting etc. Thoughts?
2) Are we only using the feats in Elephant in the Room or merely making appropriate adjustments as necessary?

Not familiar with that one. Only thing they came up was a feat tax fix, which I am all for by the way.
Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3
I'm for using it. It does streamline access to feats that may be held up by requirements that don't quite jibe right or fell behind as the system grew.
HP 12/12 // AC 17 / T 17 / FF 10 /// Fort +3 / Ref +4 / Will +4 Perc +8 / Init +3 / Spd 30'
I am ambivalent.
I will acquiesce to the majority on that decision.

I'm not a fan, I think it detracts from the fighter but as the group decides.
Bolt Ace Init +6; Senses Perception +7, AC 18, touch 15, flat-footed 14 Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +2, hp 13/13, Hero Point 1/1
I can see where it might feel like it detracts from the fighter class, and any other class that gets a collection of martial feats, and if martial mastery wasn't human only and so later in levels I would be less inclined towards the inclusion of feat tax rules since my issue revolves around the weapon group specifically. I have had too many occasions in APs and regular games where the party finds a collection of weapons that the fighter could use, but because it was a ranseur or pike instead of a halberd, or a light mace instead of a heavy, the cool and flavorful item just gets tossed in the sell pile.

I go either way on EITR- some of it makes sense, and it does make it easier for some builds to come together, but it does feel like it takes away from Fighter, Swashbuckler, and Unchained Rogue who get the heads up on doing those things.
There are also some frankly wonky quirks in it- the replacement for Improved Unarmed Strike REQUIRES 13 dex, so a STR build cannot grab that unless they get it as a Monk, for instance.
That said, despite my 1 level in fighter this character is primarily a Wizard- so it probably doesn't make a TON of difference either way for this character.

Ok, to be fair, feat tax isn't going to effect my build much either. So, leave it up to the fighters honestly. I have a question, are we using Ebberon action points, pathfinder hero points, or just not worrying about all of that.
On a side note, I am actually finding it ridiculously hard to figure out what to buy for my warforged other than repair kit and bolts for my crossbow...

Ready when you are boss.
I'm a ranger, EITR makes my feat path easier. I'm just saying on the whole it detracts from the fighter class in particular because it is the one class that can pursue these wild feat trees or juggle two moderately difficult ones. With this group I don't think it matters because we have no fighters. We'd all benefit from EITR.

After all, it doesn't have to to be just one instance. Not 2 B is easy for Mira. A deed done for a chance to marvel at the living engineering that is a Warforged would get them in her best graces.
Mane might take a step towards friendly on that they're both outsiders, not that she'll show it.
Alexio would have crossed paths with her near the hunters' section of the market, as she'd often be found inspecting offerings.
Halloran is the uncertain one. Anything that is obviously "House" marked or mannered would have her treading lightly.

Hal takes care to keep a low profile with regards to his dragonmark.
Unless it is absolutely necessary, he does not refer to himself a d'Deneith, and typically keeps his mark under wraps at all times.

Yeah, it has some undertones like that particular adventure. Do you have the title of that particular adventure? It's probably on Drivethru or DM's guild.

Eldest plays some, favors shadowrun mostly. His sister plays vampire along with her wife. The younger kids have not really taken to it, though I did run a campaign of gamma world for them that was more humorous than anything.
