Round 2 Wrap-Up
Aisling attempts another attack on the ogrekin, and though she nearly slips on the blood-stained floor, the Inheritor's blessing allows her blade to find the ogrekin's flesh. He howls, staggering back in anger.
Nyxra's attention focuses down to a point, and in a moment, she knows where the arrow will go, and where her target will be when it gets there. It's only a matter of letting the arrow find the way. She releases her shot, and it strikes home, slamming into the Lout's throat. He gurgles painfully, choking, and stumbles back a few steps before toppling over, his blood swiftly forming a pool beneath him.
With her target down, Vantine focuses her will on one of the uninjured and still seeing redactors taking liberties here. The woman's discipline avails her naught, and the power of the witch's magic twists her fate to Vantine's whims.
White Redactor Will vs. DC 15: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Jessibel summons the last of her magical power, sealing the wounds caused by the monk's attack and curing some of the injuries from the downed Lout's spear. She weaves the spell-song into her ongoing performance, inspiring her fellows to greater heights.
The Raven advances carefully forwards, mocking the fallen ogrekin as he steps over the prone man. With a single swing of his fist, the vigilante cracks the injured redactor in the chest, stabbing through his ribcage and into his lungs. The monk falls, his breathing ragged and wet.
Round 3
"Damn you! The Church will have your souls!" The hexed white-lined redactor swiftly steps over her fallen comrade's body and launches an attack at the Raven. The vigilante is more than prepared for her, and bats her arms away with his own spiked fists.

White-lined Unarmed vs. the Raven, Misfortune: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
The only monk who remains unharmed leaps forwards, hurling a flying side kick at the Raven whilst he's distracted. However, the masked man is less distracted than the monk thought, and dodges the flying foot, though it is a close thing.
Yellow-lined Punishing Kick vs. the Raven: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

The Magpie wants to press the attack, but with a bottleneck formed, she hangs back to allow the Raven, Aisling, and Nyxra to manage the melee combat for now. She looks for an opportunity to scoot forward into the fray however, all the while maintaining her bardic chant.
I believe Jessi's late in the initiative order. If either of the bottlenecking redactors falls, she'll use her boots to try to scoot past the remaining one using Acrobatics to try to avoid an AoO. She'd aim for one of the spots just to the left of the tables in the next room, to make it tougher for the pink redactor (or other enemy) to swoop in and flank her.

Round 3 Wrap-Up
Aisling advances down the hallway, her sword a blur as she strikes again. The Asmodean throws himself out of the way, trying desperately to avoid being hit, but his unbalanced landing has given her the perfect chance to carve through his left shoulder bone and down towards his kidney. He shrieks, tearing himself away from the sword on pure instinct. Though he is severely injured, he manages to stay on his feet. A deep, savage howl from deeper within the room echoes his scream.
Nyxra swaps her bow for her sword as she prepares to wade into melee with her compatriots. As she does, Vantine shoots a magically powerful glare at the monk Aisling has so critically injured. He doesn't seem to notice it, but she can feel the fingers of her magic slowly warping his actions.
Yellow Will vs. DC 15: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Jessibel holds back, continuing her song, in the hopes that one of the two redactors in the hallway will fall. Her mentor does his best to oblige her, slamming his fist into his foe's chest. She gasps, coughing blood, but keeps her feet, glowering at him.
Round 4
The pink-lined blinded redactor continues blinking rapidly, trying to clear her eyes of the sting from Vantine's magical dust. Indeed, the glowing gold dust is already starting to fade from her clothing - it won't last much longer.
Aisling's injured target lined in yellow growls, dodging between the Iomedaean and her more exotic comrade, and launches another attack on him. However, even as he throws his fists at the Raven, pain twists his face and he flinches back - serving only as a distraction rather than as a direct threat.

Aisling's Iomedae-blessed sword takes down yet another Asmodean, knocking him into the wall, where he slumps and slowly collapses.
Nyxra rushes forwards as well, but is given pause by the sudden loss of her target. Her sword-swing goes wide and strikes off the wall.
Vantine continues her witchery, her magical laughter sending a chill of power down her fellows' spines. Her potent hex twists the poor woman's fate, denying her any manner of good fortune. As she does so, the last of the golden dust fades away.
Yellow Will vs. DC 15, Evil Eye: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 5 - 2 = 5
Jessibel rushes forwards, joining her mentor and performing a swift, elegant thrust as she continues her song. The rapier resonates with the music, and thrusts into the hexed woman's chest. She sways a moment, before she, too, falls.
The Raven leaps over his fallen foe, aiming to strike at the now-sighted pink-lined monk. The monk, still apparently somewhat off-guard from his recovered sight, cannot react in time and takes a hook to the jaw. He comes back, spitting blood and phlegm.

From his new position, the Raven sees into what looks incongruously like a meadow. Standing at the doorway into the odd, seemingly starlit room are a pair of familiar infernal foes - a hellhound and a lemure. Beyond them, he catches a glimpse of a bridge, and a heavily armored woman whom he recognizes as Nox, Thrune's agent.
Mephry Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Nox Initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 2
The lemure reacts swiftly to his intrusion, tugging itself over to the vigilante's side... though it seems the ooze-like fiend cannot quite get into swinging range.
Round 5
"Finally deigned to join us, Nox?" The pink-lined monk sneers as he snaps a kick up at the Raven's solar plexus, but the vigilante is ready, and manages to get just enough out of the way that his armor takes the impact.
Punishing Kick vs. the Raven: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
His comrade leaps into action as well, running along the floor before leaping over the table and attacking the Raven in turn. This time, his armor doesn't save him, and the redactor slams him in his kidney, sending a shock of pain up his flank.
Unarmed vs. the Raven, flanking: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 2 = 21

Aisling moves up with Nyxra, her blessed silver sword coming down on the redactor. He screams as the blade breaks through his ribcage, though the noise swiftly aborts into a hacking cough. He's on his last legs, and the elf ranger's heavy blow nearly bisects him. Hot blood sprays across both the women and the Raven.
The hell hound growls, but stops when a cold voice rings out. "Mephry." Nox says. "Stay. Let them deal with these fools for the moment."

Vantine hurries up to get a better look at what's in the large room, and she doesn't like what she sees. Even she can see that Nox is in a very advantageous position. With her glaive she completely covers the only approach to herself. There's no way to divide her attention between different individuals, and she can carve up anyone trying to get to her before they can do anything.
It's a long shot chance, but she doubts the spell involved will be used otherwise. Vantine weaves an enchantment, which she drops right on top of Nox's hellhound.
Let's see just how much she likes that mutt.

Mephry Will vs. DC 15: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20 Seriously, she hasn't even buffed him yet. This is ridiculous.
Jessibel continues her song of inspiration, which guides her blade deep into the lemure's quivering flesh. It shudders silently, losing much of its cohesion, but still it bubbles in awareness... such as it is.
The Raven is much less fortunate, however, as his own blow finds nothing but air. The redactor ducks under the attack, before coming up and ready to respond in kind.
The lemure turns to the woman that so hurt it, striking out with its hellish claws. Though she is able to ward away most of the attacks, one breaks through her defenses and armor both. Pain shoots through her leg as the devil's claws rip a gash in her thigh.

Nox sighs. "I see. Go, then." She gestures at Mephry, and he growls, froth abruptly gathering at his mouth as his muscles bulge. He howls, clawing at the ground.
Round 6
Even before the howl ends, the sole surviving redactor sends a series of quick, feeble punches at the Raven before steps swiftly away, opening a path for the now berserk hellhound. The vigilante doesn't even need to block them - his armor takes their meagre impacts with nary an issue.
Unarmed vs. the Raven: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Furthermore, in the monk's desperate haste to get away from the Raven, he leaves himself open to the masked man's own counterattacks. The vigilante's poor luck persists, however, as he nearly trips over a nearby chair in his attempt to strike home - though he evades any difficulties with ease, it does throw off his punch just enough to let the Asmodean escape.

Aisling calls upon the power of Iomedae, unleashing a phantom sword that lashes out at Nox. The woman easily deflects the blow, though, looking more irritated than threatened, even as the Iomedaean circles around towards Mephry.
Nyxra's sword falls on the devil, and despite the resistance against her weapon, she manages to tear through the gelatinous body and end the thing's life. I'm pretty sure that Nyxra's sword isn't silvered, but it didn't matter in this case. Am I wrong?
Mephry launches himself across the floor, his paws pounding and claws tearing up the tiles of the floor. He leaps onto the table, his jaws opening wide and snapping about Aisling, but they only scrape her armor. Even the heat of his maw only warms the metal before she kicks away from the table.

Meanwhile, Jessibel's performance continues to resonate through the hall as she attempts to put down the last of the redactors... who evades her efforts with ease, dodging the point of her blade despite the heavy injuries he's suffered.
Though he does his best to offer Mephry no opening, the Raven cannot do so, and the creature's jaws snap at him as he goes - however, he is able to give the beast's snout a punch to ward it away. Circling around, the Raven slashes into the infernal hound's hind leg. The beast bellows, whirling to face him.

Nox advances into the doorway, before pointing at the redactor. "Your turn." She grunts. The redactor's eyes grow wide, his teeth grinding, and he roars, ignoring the injuries done to him thus far as he lunges at Jessibel.
Round 7
The redactor's assault is shockingly quick and violent. His formerly precise strikes have been abandoned in favor of pure power, and it works - the Magpie can't keep herself safe from them. First a punch knocks the wind out of her, then a kick slams into her hip, before she is catches a powerful palm strike across the face. Round 7 Midpoint
Aisling's blessed sword cuts into the devil-dog, which roars, whirling and snapping at her. Nox deflects the manifestation of her goddess' sword with ease, still more focused on the combat than on the spell.
Nyxra rushes past Mephry, but isn't quite quick enough to avoid its attack. Fortunately, between his injuries and her own defenses, the attack does little more than force her to dodge out of the way.
Mephry AoO vs. Nyxra, rage: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
With a quick, heavy-handed chop, the elf ranger cuts down the last of the redactors. Nox snorts, shaking her head. "Useless little s+%%s."
Mephry, meanwhile, dodges out of Aisling's reach, before growling and unleashing a blast of hellish fire towards her. While it doesn't quite reach her, it does strike the Raven and Nyxra both, searing flesh and charring armor. Though Nyxra is quick enough to avoid the worst of it, the Raven is, unfortunately, caught in the full force of the heat.
Raven Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Nyxra Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Fire Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4 Raven takes 4 damage, and is at 15 hp, while Nyxra takes 2, and is at 22.
Vantine, Jessibel, and Raven are up.

Jessibel L. Aulamaxa
Jessibel keeps singing to inspire her friends, but the melody seems tense and her voice is beginning to sound a wee bit hoarse. She stabs once at Mephiry and then steps back from the beast, digging into her belt pouch for a glass vial (potion of cure light wounds).
Jessibel mwk silver rapier (ACP penalty; IC): 1d20 + 6 - 1 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 6 - 1 + 1 = 15 for piercing, silver damage (IC): 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 (18-20)

Vantine Roubanis
Vantine follows up on the hound by cursing his luck and laughing at him.
Standard: Misfortune hex on the hell hound DC 15, Move: Cackle hex to extend the -2 to saves on hell hound. 5 foot step.
The Raven
Fortunately the Raven is covered nigh head to toe in armor so the flames doth not singe him overmuch. He strikes again at the doom pup, his silvered dagger easily piercing whatever hellish resistances it carries, nevertheless the strike is anemic.
Knife Stab (Inspired): 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 7 + 1 = 22

Round 7 Wrap-Up
Vantine lashes out with another hex on the hellhound, her dark laughter sending more magic into the air. Though Mephry still seems somewhat uncertain, his fate resists her manipulation.
Will vs. DC 15, rage, evil eye: 1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 - 2 = 20 Of course. Why not? Seriously, diceroller, why do you hate Vantine?
Jessibel keeps singing, pained though she is, and stabs Mephry in the flank, causing him to roar in fury, but before he can respond, she has backed away, grabbing at one of her potions.
Her mentor takes advantage of the injury she has inflicted on the infernal dog to stab into his other side. He growls, whirling on the vigilante - the blow just didn't have the physical force to take him out.
Nox takes a quick step forwards and slashes at Jessibel with her heavy polearm. Fortunately, the little outcropping of wall keeps Nox just out of position enough for the young bard to avoid the attack.
Glaive vs. Jessibel, Power Attack, partial cover: 1d20 + 11 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 11 - 2 = 17 Count your blessings, 'cause that would've hurt.

Round 8
Aisling knocks the hellhound to the floor with a swift strike, leaving it bleeding out. Her goddess' sword slashes strong and true, cleaving through Nox's guard and armor both. She grunts, her face twisting in pain momentarily. Even as she does so, though, the spiritual weapon fades, the blood on it splattering onto the ground.
Nyxra: I'm not sending you in to attack Nox, because honestly it wouldn't be fair to have you go in and potentially get AoO'd just because I botted you... and then proceed to miss your attack. If you want, you can change your action now. Nyxra, Vantine, Jessibel, and the Raven are up.

Vantine calls out to Nox. It sounds like a taunt, but the words are arcane and unintelligible. "Paha ennakko nousemassa!"
Vantine then calls out to her friends. "Stay away from her!"
5 step and standard actin to cast Ill Omen on Nox. No save.
Jessibel L. Aulamaxa
"You don't have to tell me that twice!" Jessi retorts to Vantine after her close call with the ugly fighter's glaive. The bard takes another step back and quaffs her healing potion.
potion of cure light wounds (Jessibel): 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
I guess Jessi stops singing if we're to stay back. Conserving a round of inspiration's probably more valuable than the standard action it'll take Jessi to restart it.

"Aren't you supposed to be some kinda great commander?" The Raven growls, ducking under the evil lady's polearm, getting in too close for her to use it effectivly. "You gave up the bridge - you're biggest adantage!" He slices at her stomach with his silvered knife. "Arrogant fool!"

Round 8 Wrap-Up
Vantine unleashes a spell on Nyx, cursing her with ill fortune. Jessibel, meanwhile, steps away from Nox, drinking her potion and healing some of the injuries dealt by the redactor. Her mentor rushes forwards, stabbing into Nox's stomach, sliding his dagger between her armor. She growls, stepping back from his knife.
"Shut up." She growls, the injury he dealt her already gone - and some of the gash from Aisling's spell healing as she speaks. Adjusting her grip on the haft of her glaive, she attacks the Raven. Fortunately, he's able to block the attack, though only through the slickness of her blood on the haft shifting her grip suddenly. With that, she retreats, leaving her open to a quick attack by the vigilante - which swiftly deflects off of her armor as he fails to adjust for her sudden movement.

Vantine curses the Raven under her breath as the true arrogant, preening fool in the room as he ignores her and burns up the effect of her spell. Forced to start from scratch again, and with little time to work, she just barely chooses Nox over the Raven as the target of her baleful glare.
With Ill Omen now expended, Vantine will use Evil Eye targeting Will saves on Nox.

"All right--let's do this!" Jessibel hears herself say. Breaking into a new inspirational war chant, she closes on the glowering Nox, taking care to remain just outside the reach of the devil-woman's glaive.
