Agree with red dot exploration, but also think we should inspect the center path (that goes above the big round room - moved green dot to show location) on our way past, just to clear that part of the map.

Red dot room is about 20 ft above the stairs. If I recall correctly, you tried to climb up to it after your fight with the crawling hands, but failed. You'd likely have to approach from the red star room.

There was also a set of armor in the room with the pink dot that you passed by.

After saying goodbye to Yrix, she seems to be giggling at her trade. "Byeeeeee my lovelies. Come back to the Great Yrix if you ever want to trade againnnnnn."

The Pathfinders check in on the creature on their way to the red star - still sleeping, curled into a ball now.

They make a wide loop, past the deep pit, past the ominous pillar, down south, through the secret door.

Sneaking up, Grelthe passes a set of staircases to her right that spiral up through the ceiling. But in front of her, the acrid stench of chemicals and reagents fill the chamber just to the north. The walls are marred by strange stains and scorch marks. Several tables are scattered about the room, covered in a bewildering plethora of glassware, alembics, retorts, tubes, simmering cauldrons, and smoking beakers full of brightly colored liquids. Scattered pages of written notes in a crabbed hand lie strewn about the chamber. A large alcove in the northwest corner contains a bookshelf groaning under the weight of heavy, dusty tomes and scrolls.

Three large glass vats stand against the eastern wall, filled with bubbling green fluid. Floating within the vats are three grotesque objects - putrescent corpses, tubes, and wires embedded in their rotting flesh, their skin discolored with decay and chemical stains.

As Grelthe and the other Pathfinders turn the corner and peer into the room, they see a weary hunchbacked, haggard-looking man in his 30s, with black hair starting to turn grey. He's reading some notes and mumbles to himself angrily. He's about to cross over to the room to the north (the one with the red dot). There seems to be a wooden bridge now where there wasn't one before!

His ears prick up as he hears Grelthe and the other Pathfinders and turns to them.

"What... who are you?" he yells in a fit of rage.

"Those manipulating *****" He calls them a word that dares not be repeated. "They're sabotaging my efforts. All I want to do is study undeath.". He starts walking towards the Pathfinders. "You see, Pharasma abhors undeath. I found my way down here into this wondrous Ossuary. Here, I found proscribed books from a heretical sect calling itself the Chymists of Life in Death. They found a loophole. Alchemical undead, not magical undead.".

This man starts doing the stereotypical villain rant. "Those ***** found out that I was partaking in research. All I wanted to do was to increase manpower and solve the problems of the shrinking amount of free space in the Ossuary above.". He starts pacing back and forth. "Yes, yes it was I who was 'stealing' those bodies. But for a good purpose!" He looks up at everyone.

"Now, leave me be. Go back to the Church and leave me and my research alone. Mr. Marrow? Show them out.". A zombie comes out from the shadows and starts walking towards the Pathfinders.

One of the putrescent corpses in the glass vats in the eastern wall starts to come to life unlife as it bursts forth (as a free action) and charges at Grelthe. (+2 to hit, -2 AC). This creature looks like one of the alchemical zombies you fought earlier - a little tougher than normal.

The zombie crashes in to Grelthe hard (critical hit, but does not confirm - Grelthe has an amazing FF AC). Grelthe takes 5 points of damage!

In the background, Svilennius drinks a extract and pulls out a bomb from his side pouch.

Updating everyone's HP based on their headers. Let me know if it looks accurate.

She drops her ranseur (free action) to smoothly draw (move action) and launch a javelin at the remaining enemy.

If you search the room:
If removed from the ossuary, Svilennius's equipment counts as a full alchemist's lab. In addition, the alcove holds the books and notes of the Chemists of Life in Death. It is worth 500 gp to an alchemist or arcane scholar, but the church of Pharasma considers the books heretical and attempts to confiscate the proscribed texts if they learn of their existence.

Grelthe doesn't think Kurgess is opposed to undead. But also she probably doesn't want to piss Pharasma off. (Did we identify the phylactery of faithfulness?)

Tavon spots the nearly invisible outline of a secret door in the western part of the wall. Opening it up, Tavon sees repeated lines of footprints mark the dust on the floor of this crypt. The burial niches lining the stone walls are empty save for ancient scraps of yellowed linen. At the far end of the chamber, a gate apparently crafted of bleached bone blocks an exit out of the tomb.

Then Tavon hears some rustling. The niches aren't empty after all! Four skeletons step out of the niches! These look like some of the alchemical undead you fought before.
