Sure, with that Engineering roll I'll say you can spend all three actions of your turn snapping off and embedding branches into the wall to make a makeshift ladder. The DC to climb in that section of the wall is reduced from 15 to 10.

![]() |

1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33
While Kralgang fashions a makeshift ladder from tree branches, Capricio balances up the log to the top of the wall. He has a nervous feeling looking around, as if something were out there, watching him, though he can't see any such thing.

First action is a success. You may move half your speed up the log, and have two actions remaining.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Osinniel carefully balances up the log, stopping once to avoid a fall.

![]() |

Kleebo makes it up and off the tree with no trouble. Osinniel is not quite the picture of grace her name claims to be, but makes it most of the way up herself.
Zalmora, Capricio, and Kralgang may act.

![]() |

Kralgang sheathes his kukri and climbs up the ladder he has built apparently only for himself. ;-)
Athletics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
If it needs a second action:
Athletics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Otherwise he takes out his bow.

Capricio, feeling nervous, draws his starknife and casts shield.
"I don't like the looks of that sinkhole up there."

Action 2: Stride

Zalmora strides nimbly along the log, then calls for Baxter to follow.
Acrobatics vs DC 12: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
The dog also makes scaling the tree look easy, and takes a guard position in front of Zalmora.

![]() |

Capricio draws his knife, casts a defensive cantrip, and looks around for trouble to no avail. Kralgang sheaths his weapon and then, after a brief false start, climbs his makeshift ladder to reach the upper level (you did need the second climb action, so weapons are still sheathed). Ossiniel, Zalmora, Baxter, and Kleebo all balance up the log, reaching the top safely.

"Might as well investigate this sinkhole, since we don't see anything here."
Capricio strides around the undergrowth and then casts shield as he nears the sinkhole, incase something should emerge and attack.
Stride, stride, cast shield

Action 1: Stride
Action 2: Command an Animal (Stride, Seek)
Action 3: Seek
Zalmora moves forward cautiously, placing herself in front of Osinniel. She then whistles to her dog and says, "Baxter, go see."
The dog moves forward, catching up to Capricio and sniffing about towards the sinkhole. Baxter's Perception mod is +4. He also has Scent (imprecise) 30ft. If you need to get a shape on the action, use a 30fo cone aimed at the sinkhole
The Nirmathi ranger also takes a moment to carefully watch and listen for any signs of danger, focusing on the sinkhole. Perception mod is +9. Seek in a 30ft cone aimed at the sinkhole

![]() |

A few things happen at this point, which I'm going to resolve in posting order (which is better for you in this case anyway).
---
Osinniel strides away from the log, looking so intently for dangers she missed the one right before her. Suddenly, another sinkhole opens up beneath her feet! Since you said you did the Stride first, this happened on your first action. You can change your 2nd and 3rd action if you'd like, based on the results below.
Osinniel, please make a DC 15 Reflex save to Grab an Edge.
---
Kralgang takes out his bow and strides forward with the intention of hiding behind a nearby tree. Before he can do so, though, a creature leaps out from the underbrush and attacks him! This was a readied one-action Pounce.
Claw! vs. flat-footed.: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31
Slashing damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
That looks like a crit, I'm afraid, and 18 points of damage. You have one action left, since this happened before your stealth attempt.
---------
I've rewound Capricio, Kleebo, and Zalmora, assuming you might do something different after the creature had revealed itself.

Redo
Action 1: Stride
Action 2: Hunted Shot
Action 3: Command an Animal (Stride, Stride)
Surprised by the sudden assault on Kralgang, Zalmora pushes quickly through the undergrowth to get line of sight. Knowing that she's come upon her prey, she lets fly with two arrows at the creature.
Hunted Shot 1 (w/Flurry): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Damage (P): 1d8 ⇒ 7
Hunted Shot 2 (w/Flurry): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Damage (P): 1d8 ⇒ 1
"Baxter, attack!" she commands. Her dog leaps into action, taking Zalmora's route through the brush and streaking towards the monster. Because, make no mistake, that is a monster.

![]() |

Osinniel narrowly avoids disaster while Zalmora springs into action. She strides to get a better view, sending two arrows flying as she shouts commands to Baxter to get into position. The creature is small and partially obscured, however, and neither arrow finds its target.
Kleebo, Capricio, and Kralgang (one action) may act.

Kralgang staggers back, grasping his gaping wound. (Step action)
He has never come so close to moving on to his next form as he has today, and he does not feel he is ready.

"What's THAT?!?!" Kleebo exclaims as he sees the creature early eviscerate Kralgang.
"Well, whatever it is, it looks dangerous! I'll save you!"
He then strides twice. Then he looks at the creature.
"You are the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Is your mother that ugly too?"
diplomacy for Bon Mot: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Capricio moves closer through the underbrush and, with a gesture of prayer and a plea to Desna, casts heal on Kralgang.
"Mother Moon, Song of the Spheres, we ask you to tend to Kralang's wounds, so that we may protect these beautiful alpacas from the creatures that would do them harm".
Heal: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 V,S

![]() |

Kralgang staggers back as Capricio calls down a blessing to heal some of his wounds. Kleebo, meanwhile, boldly strides forward, throwing out a cutting remark that the creature doesn't seem to understand (the creature doesn't speak Common, so your Bon Mot has no effect).
The creature, annoyed that its original prey eluded it, turns its attention to Baxter instead.
Bite! vs Baxter: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23
Piercing damage: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

The beast latches on to the poor dog, drinking some of Baxters blood! It seems to start twitching, almost vibrating in place, as it does, almost like a child that's had too much sugar. Baxter is Drained 1.

Even an appeal to luck doesn't help Kleebo's rapier strike, enchanted by Capricio, land home on shifty beast. Kralgang envisions his own strike and, realizing it's unlikely to connect, downs a healing elixir instead as he tries to recall what this thing is, to no avail. Zalmora has the power of rage driving her own blade, however, and she lands a heavy blow on the beast, knocking it back a step from her unconscious companion. Osinniel takes that opening to heal Baxter, restoring him to consciousness.
Having new threats before it, the beast lashes out at Zalmora, moving incredibly quickly.
Jaws vs. Zalmora: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16

Claws (3rd): 1d20 + 13 - 8 ⇒ (12) + 13 - 8 = 17
Slashing: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
As she nimbly deflects all three blows, the beast lets out a frustrated snarl and scampers away from what is quickly becoming a surrounding force. Would provoke from Zalmora and Kleebo if either of you had an AoO-like reaction. The dark green is undergrowth and difficult terrain.
And yes, that was 4 actions. Like a kid hopped up on sugar, that Baxter blood has this thing bouncing off the walls.

Kralgang nimbly leaps away from the sinkhole, managing to keep his feet.
Capricio sends a lance of good-aligned energy at the creature, though it flies just wide. Osinniel's spell, however, is much more effective, striking the creature squarely in the face and lighting it on fire.
Kleebo strikes twice with his rapier, the hyperactive creature dodging both strikes, but distracted enough that Zalmora's first strike lands squarely.
The creature decides that Kleebo looks like a tasty treat in more of a fun-sized package, going after the kobold with tooth and claw!
