Two Blades manages another pair of painful hits. While Wrigsolar remains stuck, Lura tries to weave a more powerful illusion. But Khellek strikes true, shattering the spell! She snarls and hefts her mace. As a clearly detached fighter, she isn't quick enough to use it.

Sorry! I'd bot Alaric as well as Ēoswulf, but...
Lura isn't about to go anywhere, but needs to stay up. She tries to produce another illusion. Once again, Khellek is ready, and his aim is true! The Aspis trade-captain hits the wooden dock.
What little of the crowd remains doesn't look entirely sure how to react. Several, staff and civilian alike, start grabbing from tills. One particularly greasy-looking man wends his way over and bows to you. "I suppose congratulations are in order, regardless of your motive. As well as a cut of the night's proceeds. A round for everyone, especially these ones, to celebrate my promotion!"
Khellek the historian
|
Khellek rushes forward ready to stabilise the wounds of the Aspis agent if required.
"No dying on us... that would just be not on at all. But we can't have you finger twiddling either."
Happy to burn a CLW if required, but will make sure rings, material spell components etc are well out of reach. Of course if our priest can stabilise then all the better.
Two Blades in the Shadows
|
Taking a moment to make sure that the agent was not going to expire on him, Two Blades reached down and touched the wound. Stopping them from bleeding but leaving her unconscious.Taking some cloth, he bound her mouth and hands so she would not be able to do any further mischief.
Stabilize.

"Not that I mind your presence, m'lords, but what brings you here?" The greasy man is now rooting through a cabinet as he calls back to you. "Old Weigo's never seen any of Ichon's many enemies. That's because most aren't crazy enough to come here. But you made it work, and that makes he curious!"

"We are looking for a cure for a poison" explains Khellek.
"A very specific cure for a very specific poison."

Alaric and Shredder just stand there, waiting, assuming the others will handle the discussion.

"Just securing the best stuff. There's going to be some light looting for a few hours, but it'll still be good for my new business overall." Weigo sounds as if he isn't going to stop thanking you anytime soon.
"Now, I don't know about any antivenoms. But the late Ms. Ichon kept all her best drinks in here..." The man turns to another cabinet, from which he withdraws several bottles. Most are more akin to vials, which look right to those with any alchemical experience. "These one don't look like booze. You want 'em?"
Khellek the historian
|
"Yes thanks. Now... how to tell which is the right one. Perhaps if we wake up Ms Ichon she might provide some assistance? Or does someone else have knowledge of alchemy?"
Any checks we can make to id the right bottle?
GM Crunch
|
Khellek has been around for long enough to assume each vial is tied to Senzer's problem somehow. Lura might be willing to talk if pressed, although Senzer himself mentioned having studied what little cure he saw.
And what do you plan on doing with Ichon? Could change what goes down, if anything.
Khellek the historian
|
"Let's grab her and take her and her little chest to Senzer. Maybe he can make head or tail of it. "
He turns to the greasy man. "So who is going to take over here now? Because they owe a debt for this place, and I'm keen to know who will be paying it."
Wrigsolar
|
Can Wrigsolar do a profession (barrister) check and see if there's really any sort of law enforcement worth a damn in this town? I get the sense that there isn't.
"We shoulda killed her in combat. Easier to get acquitted," Wrigsolar mumbles to himself.

Weigo grins. "I'm next in line, of course! Everyone else might be a bit happy, that's why I'm ecstatic. But what debt are you talking about?"
Wrigsolar is reminded of how the system is very attentive to any wrongdoings. However, they only respond to those that threaten their small bubbles of market and trade. Lura being both an Aspis agent and Bloodcove trade-captain, word of her death would spread faster than that of her defeat already could. "No one's stopping you now either," a bystander mutters to the gnome as he passes by with several bottles.
When you return to Senzer, he is similarly pleased. "One of these is the cure, I'm sure. That won't take long to determine. The other might be...the cause? A similar strain for research? I'll figure that out in my newfound time. But don't worry, I can have plenty of surplus ready for you shortly! Thank you so much, Pathfinders!"

Thankfully, a messenger arrives from Raimondo's resting place to inform you the caravan master is in decent shape. No more tasks to do means you should leave as quickly as possible. You make your way towards the best exit point, just past a short series of hills.
In a heartbeat, however, you are stopped. The boardwalk instantly clears of pedestrians. Eerie silence replaces the clamor of city life. A mere forty feet away stands a gang of armored young toughs. “Pathfinders, eh? I never thought you vermin would walk around Bloodcove in broad daylight.” The speaker cracks his knuckles and smiles as he calls across the gap. “Hand over everything you’ve got, and we promise to only kick you out of town.”
Using the same map, as it's also a dock. What do you do?

Ēoswulf bursts into laughter. "You can't be serious! This has been a long day. I have no patience for this. If you lay a finger on us I will spill each and every one of your guts!" His voice turns from deranged amusement to ferocious anger as he speaks and draws his sword and shield.
