Zarf then says, "You think your lightning good? See DRAGON lightning!"

He then casts electric arc as well.

Alak then swings into the purple frogman.

He then steps next to the door, making it so that the boggard would have cover if they attacked.

Ingraham moves in and attacks the final frog-man cultist.

The cultist then CROAKS again!

Thanks for the bot, been busting my butt working overtime at the office.

Edjarha leaps in front of the open doorway, lashing out at the remaining foe with two swift kicks, then ducks back to where he started so as not to block anyone else that wishes to attack. ◆Step, ◆Flurry, ◆Step.

Reading that again, and realizing that Ingraham may actually be in that spot in front of the door, though his pawn didn't get moved there. If that's the case, Edjarha would instead flurry from where he currently is, attacking a 3rd time then casting shield instead of his two Step actions.

With the flurry of attacks, the frog creature goes down!

Things are quiet, with only the breathing of he Heroes and the kobolds to be heard. Oh, and Alak too.

Davian listens for a moment. "Anymore coming?" He also watches to see if the MITEY DRAGONS try to run off in another direction. "If, not let's take a moment to look around."

Gideon nods and sits down to pet his badger.

"Ach, this be a lot'o bloodshed." He looks at he MITEY dragons, and then the heads of the frogs.
If they ask me to carve up the skulls as tankards I s'pose I did make that my fault...

The two kobolds head up to the “South Room”.

”This our room!”

The furniture in this former bedroom is all askew, revealing a mountain-like pile in the center made up largely of garbage such as filthy cloth, chunks of rubble, and bent nails, though there are a few shining glints in the mix. On the southern wall, scrawled in a chunky substance in a childlike hand, are several words that might be gibberish.

The rubbish pile is presented as their “hoard”. Edjarha recognizes the language. It says (as he translates) “BEWARE! MITEY DRAGONS!”

On the room's eastern wall, you notice that the stones here have been smashed and that a rudimentary tunnel stretches about 3 feet into the earth beyond. There are some broken spoons and pieces of pipe that have apparently been used as digging instruments.

Pig exclaims, ”They broke our wall!”

Checking out the North room, you notice a steady dripping from the stone ceiling in this ruined bedroom has created a deep, bog-like puddle in the middle of the broken floor. Ringing the puddle are splintered pieces of wood stuck into the flagstones' rubble, rising up like bizarre foliage.

As you spend a few minutes searching, you discover a small potion vial in the water.

In the hallway where you fought, you see Once-fine seating made from mahogany and velvet has been broken to pieces and used to fashion crude shelters. To the north, a door is heavily barricaded with debris.

The door to the north has apparently hastily barricaded. It would take some effort to get through to it.

The last room where the frog-men came out of has a broken bed frame, splintered drawers, and a smashed desk mark this chamber as a long-abandoned bedroom. Greasy tents and moldy piles of cloth reveal that someone has recently been squatting here.

Each of the final two boggards has a filthy purse with 19sp each, and one has a tiny black statue of a dog.

"Oh mitey dragons, what lies beyond that barricaded door?"

Aragelda sighs sadly at the fine artisanship on the broken furniture.

Aragelda will try to identify the potion if possible.

"That was the Brumblebrashers areas. We not go there. We have agreement."

"You are noble dragons indeed, honoring your agreements. However, we are here on behalf of the Brumblebrashers, and endeavor to make their home safe for them. Is there another way in, besides through the barricade?"

"We can always ask them next time we head into town. They are right outside over the hill." Davain isn't sure which direction to point as he is all turned around underground. "Or looks like the only other way we hae is south."

Ingraham, upon seeing this, is reminded of home and the clan he left behind. The dwarf sniffles a bit, but quickly changes his demeanor so only keen eyed would have noticed.

"Ingraham, they seemed rather distressed about the hole in the wall. I do not believe this was their doing."

"This potion can turn someone invisible! Who would like it?"

Well that was dumb of me.

"I take that back. Allow me to use this shovel to fix the wall."

"NO! We no make the hole! Nasty cultists dig hole in home!"

When Aragelda aks, both kobolds raise their hands and bounce in excitement.

"How far down here have you been Mitey dragons? Can you lead us further in?" Davian asks them as they seemed to be doing quite well clearing out the structure with their help.

"Naw, we stay in our place, and then run to the other place when we get kicked out by monkeys and frogs. Now we with you, 'cause you pay us respect."

Aragelda shrugs. "Well, it was in your house." She hands them the potion.

The two argue with each other (in draconic) for a moment, and Zarf ends up with it.

Are you taking time to heal up?

Lets take a breather here with our new draconic friends.

Agreed. 14 HP is hard to confidently march face first into a trap with.

Aragelda treats Gideon first.

Davian pats Zarf on the shoulder. "I am sure those scales will grow back in no time."

"Ma'am, that you are. Good thing, too, since I seem to have a bit of a problem zigging when I should be zagging."

An hour and a half later, most of the party is looking much healthier.

As you spent time healing, the party does some extra searching for treasure.

You find a vial in the Antechamber, which Davian identifies as a lesser comprension elixir.
Where to? The barricade?

"Since our original goal here was to secure the Brumblebrasher's home for them, let's proceed to do so."

Barricade next.

The team takes some time (while Aragelda is healing) and clears out the barricade. You open the door to see that t his stately bedroom looks like a horrific crime scene. Sprawled haphazardly everywhere are half-mauled humanoid bodies lying in pools of blood, splintered furniture, bed curtains and rugs torn to shreds, and massive piles of dung.

Edjarha is greeted with a grizzly bear standing up, roaring in his face! Spittle flies everywhere as combat begins!

Out of most options Davian flings some of his residual rune magic into the bear. "Who brought a bear down here?"

Aragelda, stuck in the back, can't do much. She Raises her Shield and tries to daze the bear!

The bear roars in pain from Gideon's spell! Then Davian's lightning hits him, and again he roars! Finally, Aragelda's spell hits him, but he seems to shrug that off!

Sticky sap flies from Zarf's fingers to strike the bear! Unfortunately the totally not scared dragon fails to land his spell.

Then, the bear attacks Edjarha!

After missing, badly, it claws at Edjarha, twice! On the last attack, it finally lands a blow!

Unable to get through, he punches the bear twice and then retreats.

Ingraham will once again rely on cantrips to go on the offense.

He then shouts at the bear to try to intimidate it.
"SHOVE OFF YE BUGGA!"

Edjarha fails to tumble through the bear and also fails to strike it. Perhaps it is the gallon of spittle that covers him, or the staggering stench of the bear's breath.

Ingraham then also fails to hit it with fire, and to intimidate it.
