Will proceed to Mark the Longsword and Morningstar as Sold, and buy their weight in coin for potions.
Based on the math of Google Docs, 40.5gp.
Minor Healing - 4gp
Lesser Healing - 12gp
3 Lesser Healing Potions and 1 Minor Healing Potions to be purchased.
I think I got that all entered in the sheet correctly.

![]() |

Although lesser healing potions are level 3, I think that is fine.
As long as you don't want too many. Small town only has so much :P

Edjarha Aivot |

I wonder if we should swap at least one of those minor healing potions for a scroll of heal (1st). It's the same cost (I think), and a lot more healing (and we have a cleric to cast it).

![]() |

Per discussion outside of thread, I am going to play with an idea on the sheet to show the barter.

![]() |

Scroll would probably work just fine then.

![]() |

Checking:
minor elixir of life cost 3gp (1d6 healing)
level 1 scroll costs 4gp (1d8 healing*)
minor potion of healing cost 4gp (1d8 healing)
level 2 scroll costs 12gp (2d8 healing*)
lesser healing potion costs 12gp (2d8+5 healing)
FYI
Honestly, seeing this, I would get the scrolls, generally. Especially since I think you have 2 that can cast them.
* Plus the 2 and 3 action versions

Yeah, I was specifically thinking of the comparison between a minor potion and a level 1 scroll. There's some utility in anyone being able to use a potion, but the fact that the scroll can become either 1d8 to everyone or 1d8+8 to one person makes it a lot more bang for our buck.

Absolutely.

I am going to get the next section launched tonight.
It is a little tricky for me, only because the maps are so huge. I am planning on breaking them up enough to be easier to read.

2 people marked this as a favorite. |

I'll be getting started again today.
Sorry, have to realize I am not 25 (or even 45) any more, and four days with 15 hours of gaming takes more time to recover from!
Probably won't change anything on my convention attendance, but it is a fact of life :P

Things are quiet, with only the breathing of he Heroes and the kobolds to be heard. Oh, and Alak too.
How dare you imply Alak isn't a hero!

Was using the capitals to designate that you were the ones that responded to the Call for Heroes. :P

BTW - please do add things to the treasure sheet, or if there is a better format, convert to that!

I'll be visiting my wife's family in WI this weekend, so I won't be posting until Sunday evening, likely.

Going with Fleet for my General, to position in combat more efficiently.

As far as money, the treasure sheet currently shows 5 gold and 5 silver, with a bundle of things we can sell.
Items found:
• Small Gem in the Doll
• Up to 4 of each: Hide Armors, Sickles, and Whips we could loot from the monkey men.
• 19 silver with the tiny black statue of a dog. All of this has already been added to the sheet.
• Potion of Invisibility that seems to have not been used yet.
• Lesser Tanglefoot Bag and Vial of Lesser Alchemist Fire These have already been added to the sheet.
Of the items we currently have, here is what we aren't using equipment-wise. (Each sale at 50% of it's value.)
• Bastard Sword (sell for 2gp)
• Leather Armor (Sell for 1gp)
• Wooden Shield (Sell for 5sp)
• +1 Scimitar (Sell for 17gp 5sp)
Selling all of this would bring us to 26gp 5sp.
Not sure what the Dog Statue does yet, so not willing to put in on the sell list.
Assuming we looted the Sickles, Hide Armors, and Whips, we can sell those off too.
• Hide Armor = Sell for 1gp each.
• Sickle = Sell for 1sp each.
• Whip = Sell for 5 cp each.
Would be worth an additional 4gp 6sp.

Also, don't feel constrained to do the treasure division the way the sheet is currently set up.
Having a full pool of party gold is fine, or whatever makes sense to yyou all.

Edjarha Aivot |

I'll need to get some handwraps eventually, but the rune does me no good in the meantime.

![]() |

I have always thought that was the case (and will make a ruling for this game that it is so)

![]() |

Rune to Edjarha is something I didn't consider, but is a definite good choice. Selling the Scimitar on its own along with everything else will put us at 13gp and 6 sp.
If anyone can identify what the dog statue does we can consider keeping or selling it.
Just a note; I wouldn't be needing the rune cause my Wild Shape now lets me transform as Animal Form, so I should be able to keep up on damage output.

![]() |

As far as I can tell, you still will need magical crafting, or you'll need to pay someone to transfer it for you.

![]() |

No posts from me for today. Finger is sliced, cannot use keyboard effectively. Need wound to recover.

![]() |

I am ready, and ok with paraphrasing the weapon transfer to a quick interaction if needed.

Aragelda Silvernail |

How many runes do we have? Aragelda could use a +1 hammer if there's another one available.

![]() |

2 Total - Gideon has one in a shortbow that we looted, and we are transferring the Scimitar.
If Gideon doesn't need the shortbow, we can transfer that if we come up with another 1.5gp

Edjarha Aivot |

Is the one rune we are for sure transferring going to handwraps for Edjarha, or somewhere else? Either is fine with me, just want to make sure I'm following (and updating stats if need be).

![]() |

Scimitar -> Handwraps for Edjarha.
Bow-> Aragelda(?)Depends on if Gideon still plans on using it.
If Gideon plans on keeping the bow, the next rune we find we boost Aragelda with.

Aragelda Silvernail |

That's fine! I'm often stuck behind the front lines, so I can wait for a rune.

Edjarha Aivot |

Sounds good. I'll update my attacks accordingly. Aragelda's AC is enough better than Edjarha's, though, that I sometimes wonder if we're doing this backwards.

![]() |

Alrighty, we will make the transfer and I’ll do some accounting when I get to my PC

![]() |

Going to take a page out of Pirate Rob's book.
Unless you are in a hurry to get back, go ahead and take 1 week to interact with anyone in town (I'll get something up for that, eventually, but for now please reference the players guide).
There are benefits to befriending folks around town, so this seems a good of a time as any. This will be the Befriend a Local downtime activity.
You may also make an Earn Income check, or any other Downtime activities, such as crafting. (this is in addition to a single Befriend a Local check)
Breachhill is a Level 4 town, so you can make your earn income checks up to the level of your character.
Also please note that unless you are planning on using Society or Nature to Subsist, you'll need to pay for Cost of Living. If you do, please make your check for the week.
Also note, that all goods and services are discounted by 5% due to the Adventurer's Discount. This includes the rune transfer fees. I missed this earlier, so I will grant you 1 week of Comfortable cost of living due to the townsfolk's generosity!
For befriend, please post with whom you are approaching, and how you are approaching (RP bonuses will apply!).

I am going to work on the google spreadsheet now, cause it didn't really keep track of a lot of our wealth and now it needs some fixing.
