Bwessara
"Inspired reasoning," Bwessara says. "You'd be a formidable chess opponent."
She looks down the tunnel as far as her elven eyes will let her see.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
"Though you see better in the darkness, I'd feel better leading the way." Bwessara says to Elo and Qrik. "Will you cast a light spell, please?"

I for one would welcome it, the priest says casting heal on himself before drawing his sword and raising his shield.
Using priest Cha healing spell slot
1d8 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
I should now be only 7 Hp down unless I am wrong
Elo Zozakzod
Elo smiles at the complements but quickly gets back to business. He obliges Bwess, reciting one of his more elementary incantations and touching her rapier to set it alight.
After you!
As they go along, Elo will Detect Magic exploration activity.
Montgomery Hall
As you move inside, it becomes obvious that there are people inhabiting this place. A torch shines on the wall further down the corridor. In the distance Bwess can just make out a set of doors.
Elo Elo can't see quite so far, but can make out another, crossing corridor maybe 30 feet ahead.
The corridor is wide, and high.
Elo Zozakzod
See the torch lights ahead, Elo switches from detecting magic to avoiding notice.
Stealth +9
He will quietly approach Bwess and whisper to her.
I could make you invisible for a safer scout-ahead? But the spell has a verbal component so we ought to do that outside if so.
Bwessara
"Let's save that spell for now," Bwessara answers Elo. She centers her shield in front of her body and creeps forwards. Her right hand holds her coiled whip."You might need it later."
Bwessara will be in square Y12. DEFEND exploration activity.
When she gets to the corner she listens for noise before peeking around the corner.
Qrik
Qrik looks around for clues.
Investigation.
Elo Zozakzod
Qrik points out tbe scorch marks towards the end of the corridor and so Elo slinks forward to look for a trap to disarm.
Are we at the point where we still need to search for it, or is it time for thievery checks?
Elo Zozakzod
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Qrik
"Lots of fire have hit these walls. Be careful." Qrik warns his companions.
Elo Zozakzod
Elo nods at Val's suggestion.
I think that's right, but let's tread quietly. Could be guards on both left and the right.
Agreed on checking the left opening, Elo will Avoid Notice (Stealth +9)
Montgomery Hall
Five cells surround the central area of this dank prison, their barred doors all hanging slightly ajar. Each cell contains a cot hanging from one wall and small piles of refuse, including scraps of cloth and gnawed-on bones. The wall next to the eastern exit has a small wooden cabinet mounted on it.
(Bwes is stood next to that cabinate.)
The Entry to the cells is by a locked gate. An Athletics check is required to force the gate, or Thievery to pick the lock.
Bwessara
Bwessara takes out her lockpicks and whispers, "Let me try this before we attempt to force it open with muscle. Stand back though, in case I set off a trap..."
Thievery check (expert): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12
I added in the last sentence after seeing the roll.
Elo Zozakzod
Clearing his throat, Elo withdraws a set of thieve's tools and separates a small subset of picks. His kobold claws get to work at the gate's lock.
Between the two of us, Bwess, we'll surely get it. I think a closer look in here would be useful...
Thievery: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 broken picks?
Thievery: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 better?
Qrik
Qrik keeps an eye out behind them as the rest work on the door.
Elo Zozakzod
With the door open, Elo gets to investigating the cells. He does check for traps just to be safe, but otherwise Searches and Detects Magic in the area for any interesting clues.
Montgomery Hall
Elo Zozakzod
Given the interaction was physical, I'll assume Elo was still searching and use perception for init (versus arcana from detecting magic).
Initiative (Perception): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Qrik
Initative (Perception): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Qrik
Qrik turns and looks at the other Kobolds. He speaks words of arcane power and an arc of lightning zaps the closest two kobolds. He then casts Shield to protect himself.
Basic Reflex Save DC 20: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 4) + 4 = 9
Bwessara
Bwessara approaches the kobold closest to her. She knows the corner protects the enemy closest to her, but not closest to Val. Arcane words and a shift of her feet and hips send the tip of her whip brimming with an icy bite in addition to the normal leather towards her opponent.
One action: Move 5'(to W9)
Two actions: Spellstrike (target at Y8)
Spellstrike (Ray of Frotst): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Whip damage: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (2, 1) + 1 = 4
Ray of Frost damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 4) + 3 = 9

GM would you mind updating the "current map" link at the top?
Elo moves up behind Bwess and touches her weapon.
◆ Stride (just up to the East of Bwess)
◆◆ Cast (somatic, verbal) Magic Weapon on whatever Bwess is wielding
Valericus Rufinus Isauricus

Current map link seems to show another battle. Let's say move to engage the closest
sword of strike +1: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 1 = 17 for 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 1) + 3 = 11
2nd swing
sword of strike +1: 1d20 + 9 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (1) + 9 + 1 - 5 = 6 for 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (1, 3) + 3 = 7
Clearly he is still rattled by the earlier psychic toll he paid.
Very disappointing
Montgomery Hall
I'll update it later, but the last "MAP" link is to a map titled "The SCar-03" and you can just about see Kobald's on it. It's in This Post I don't always get time to, or remember to update the links at the top of the page. So best to go off my recent posts.
Montgomery Hall
Qrik casts his usual spell, and the effect is immediate. Both Kobald's shiver with electricty, but remain standing.
Bwess moves into the room and cracks her whip, it slams into the Kobald, and as it does so a rhime of frost spreads from the contact point. The small lizard freezes to his extremities and then shatters into pieces.
Even without being a crit, that would take it from Full health to almost negative.... That's one dead Kobald.
Elo steps forward and Casts a spell on Bwess' whip.
Val steps into the room,a nd swipes at teh nearst Kobald, but it manageds to duck and dive out of the way of both hits.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 1d8 ⇒ 3
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 1d8 ⇒ 8
A Kobald moves from the far lefthand cell into the middle of the room, and throws a spear at Val. (Doing 7HP Damage.)
Two other Kobalds step out to get a better aim, reload, and fire their crossbows. Shooting at Val and Bwess. They both Miss though.

Having imbued Bwess' weapon, Elo looks up at the array of ambushers.
We've got our work cut out for us! Okay, to it! he seems to add some gusto to his normally "practical," gravelly voice.
He reaches into his belt pouch for an alchemical concoction and lobs it forward...
◆ Draw lesser blight bomb
◆ Strike W6 with lesser blight bomb (thrown 20 ft., alchemical, bomb, consumable, infused, poison, splash)
lesser blight bomb attack, poison damage, poison splash damage: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 181d6 ⇒ 61 = 1

GM, Bwessara targeted the kobold at Y8, not the one at V8 with the red X. I just want to be accurate.
Elo, casting Magic Weapon is a good tactic, but Bwessara's weapon has a striking rune already. Can he get a refund of his actions GM?
Bwessara shifts her feet and stomps the ground to divert a portion of her spell's magical energy back into her body. She raises her shield to protect herself while she steps forward to be next to Val's side.

Sorry, we've probably been over and I missed striking on Bwess' profile with a quick glance.
Bwessara
Elo, looking over my posted character sheet, I realized the weapon is different from the one I keep with the document file I use for Bwessara's posting. Thus this confusion is entirely my fault! I'm sorry about that. I just updated the character sheet here.

Okay, if you don't mind GM let's say:
Round 1 ◆strides up behind Bwess and the other ◆◆ are the draw/throw of the bomb using the target and rolls above.
Round 2
Elo then unleashes a torrent of arcane force at one of the kobolds in the back.
◇ Drain bonded item (level 1)
◆◆◆ Cast (somatic, verbal) magic missile on W4

Ah! No problem :) I'll prepare something more useful in the slot "tomorrow".
Montgomery Hall
Sorry, totally miss-read Elo's posts then.... Normal service now resumed! Bwess I'm not retconning my mistake of which you attacked, as it means moving loads of stuff around. They both end up dead by the end of this turn anyway.... so no harm done.
Qrik moves forward and using magic, spews forth a swarm of biting insects. The three Kobalds all manage to get out of the way as much as possible, but still feel the effects.
Bwes takes a moment to move up next to Val and steady herself.
Elo casts yet another spell, this time taking out one of the far Kobalds.
Val strikes and kills the Kobald beside him.

Elo moves up what he hopes is one last time and lobs a poison bomb at one of the remaining kobolds.
