Rushing ahead. Just how we lost a year in the Scoured Stars. D’zyliit thinks to himself as he sees Vyankar charge forwards.
Following his comrade, the shirren blasts the far undead with an acidic shot from his rifle.

"They are immune to nonlethal weapons, Vyankar! You'll have to hit them reeeal hard with that taclash!"
Since no one has shock weapons, I'll keep that to myself
Hellih/HK

Hellih smiles when his shot hit one of the zombies, seeing how they move he quickly adjust the strength of the laser to do them more harm.
As the gun begins to hum in a bit different way he takes aim just to see that his shot is not clear due to his allies standing in the way. A pile of muscles and a shirren stand happily in front of him.
He decides to take the shot
"Doc, stand still..."

I actually moved down precisely not to block anyone's path - if you draw a line, you can shoot without going through my square at both targets. Blame doc only!
Vyankar
|
Not to worry; Entropic Strikes can be used as AoOs, and I don't have to apply the nonlethal property to them either!
Without missing a beat, Vyankar shouts back: "Do not worry, I know just how to hit 'real hard'!"
As the zombie approaches, he swings his taclash upwards, sending waves of energy through the enemy's body.
AoO, Entropic Strike vs EAC: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Kargarama

Deeming too tight of quarters in the alley for the use of grenades, Kargarama makes a double move up to position drawing his pike on the way.
| GM Wolffauer |
Modern Body's axe hits home while D’zyliit shot goes wide.
Hellih and Vyankar both hit the closer zombie and down it goes.
Waiting on Stephen. Vyankar - the strike was your round 2 action (you double moved in round 1).

D’zyliit moves forward and fires again. His shot is improved from the last few seconds, but that’s not saying much

D'zyliit and Stephen also fire at the new zombie, but only Stephen connects.

Understood. Could be more failed augmented about. D'zyliit says as he moves down the street. Taking point opposite Kargarama, the shirren peeks through one of the windows the zombies had been banging against to see what he can make out of the interior.
Move to move, then trying to look inside.

"Tell me if you see a computer, doctor - I have a new spell I'm dying to try out!" Modern Body keeps working the door, his muscular fingers not doing a great job.
| GM Wolffauer |
The window that D'zyliit checks has been barricaded with boxes and crates. Beyond them he can see a living area, but no occupants.
The lock on the front door seems simple enough, but still resists Modern Body's efforts to open it.
From the far window you hear a voice call out, "Get away from there!"

Modern Body tries to open the door once more, before summoning his sword and hacking the thing down.

Vyankar

Vyankar dusts his clothes and walks up to the rest of the group, picking up his singing disk still slightly stuck in the zombie's flesh. He carefully wipes the outer edge with a piece of cloth, polishing the blade and removing the dust and blood. The kasatha silently keeps watch for any impending danger.

Blunt, but as you can hear we have our faculties. D'zyliit calls back after Modern Body's screed. More undead may be coming. Undead created by your own faulty augments. Your procedure and nanite source needs to be stopped.
The shirren crouches down, then slowly moves towards the window from which the voice emerged, staying low to avoid being a large target.
Hellih/HK
|
Hellih moves a bit to the side to have a better view at the doors. He keeps his rifle lowered but he stays alert to shoot at any sign of danger.
"I hope there is no back exit from this building. Hurry up with that lock!"
| GM Wolffauer |
"Hideout?! This is our home! And you are trying to break into it. Typical Starfinder thugs!" comes the reply. "We've done fine at keeping the creatures at bay."
The lock continues to resist Modern Body's efforts.
The procedures have stopped! We shut down over a week ago!

"They won't leave - they are more scared of the monstrosities they unleashed than of us. And I could use a hand with this door, instead of useless blabbering!"
What kind of material is the door made of? If it has hardness 10 or less I can wear it down eventually. How about the windows?
| GM Wolffauer |
"Why should we leave? This is our home!"
The door is steel, so a hardness of 20. You could probably push your way through the windows if you can get pass their barricades (Str check).
Hellih/HK
|
"I can attempt to open the lock, when you can prepare for potential conflict. But we could try diplomacy in the meantime" throws android
I can attempt to open the lock next round. I thought that your 2nd attempt would be good enough.
Stephen Vladimir

Stephen sighs, and speaks loudly and clearly though the window.
"Listen, we REALLY don't want to hurt anyone. We just want to talk. We're here to help. Now, why don't you unlock this door and let us in."
He casts charm person. DC14 will save to negate. Depending on the GM's judgement, the target may get a +5 bonus to the save if we are deemed to have been overly threatening up to this point.

Vyankar

The kasatha shakes his head as pieces of glass fly out into the street. "At least discussion was attempted, this time.Though it will be harder now.""

Kargarama pushes his way through the window, knocking aside the boxes and crates which had been blocking it. As he does, Vyankar spots two more zombies heading this way.
