| Big Chieftan Chuffy |
If the poison causes the sickened condition, I get to roll twice against it and take the best roll, due to the Pustular trait I have. I’ll roll twice, and if it doesn’t apply, take the first one.

Made a mistake in my previous post. The -2 Str damage is for Chuffy since the spider attacked Chuffy, not Poog. Chuffy's attack becomes +4 and damage is -2.
Dogslicers for goblins do 1d4 damage. That said, the sneak attack damage is still enough to kill the spider.
The spider gives a shriek and falls down dead as it catches Chuffy's dogslicer right to the face.
You win!
Anyone have any actions?
Mogmurch the Mad
|
Throwing the bomb has made Mogmurch unexpectedly queasy, and he has to sit until the earth and sky stop spinning. Once he recovers, he staggers to join the group around the spider's corpse.
Since I have Heal among my skills, I was wondering if I could do something for Chuffy's poisoned condition?

The clearing indicated on Scribbleface’s map isn’t quite on the coast, but
it’s close enough to hear the faint sound of waves crashing on an unseen swampy shoreline.
A two-masted ship lies mired in the mud in this clearing, its rigging thick with moss and decorated with lanterns and wind chimes made from goblin skulls and bones. Strange writing is faintly visible along the ship’s prow, while the soggy, swampy “yard” that surrounds the wreck is encircled by a rickety wooden fence. A thin curl of smoke wafts up from a chimney that protrudes from an unusual box-like structure near the ship's bow.
We are now on slide 6
Mogmurch the Mad

Judging from the dangling skull ornamenting the ships, whatever lived here must not like goblins.
Intrigued by the scribbling on the walls, Mogmurch waits for the group to move a little forward so he can examine it a little closer.

You enter the fenced in enclosure where the ship rests. A thick morass of mud greets you as you enter the fenced in area where the ship rests. Not seeing any other way to cross you shrug and proceed to wade through the mud. What's a little mud to a goblin?
Just as you make your way through the mud a galloping sound reaches your ears. Sloshing in from the far side of the wreck comes filthy, dark gray stallion with a foul temper and it is looking at you!
This is probably Vorka's pet horse, Stomp.

Stomp will take 1 round to get to your position if you want to do anything. You can also position your tokens before making any move actions.
Mogmurch the Mad

Mogmurch hates horses, and Stomp looks particularly angry and enraged. Though he is still sick, he grabs in his bag another of his vial, getting into position to throw it at the horse as soon as he gets near.
Preparing an Alchemist Fire, will throw when Stomp gets close enough
Poog of Zarongel Part Deux

"Die Horse!" commands The great and mighty Poog as he throws his javelin...

Chuffy's dart and Poog's javelin miss as Stomp dodges left then right but steps right into Mogmurch's alchemist fire. Undeterred Stomp closes in on Reta and it attempts to bash the fighter with its' hooves.
Hoof 1: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 = 1
Hoof 2: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (7) - 2 = 5
Reta dodges and returns with a belch of flames which the horse attempts to avoid.
Stomp's Ref save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Stomp evades most of the flames but is now looking well done and the smell of cooking horse meat reaches the goblins' noses.

Stomp almost looks relieved as Mogmurch's strike slides home and he falls down dead, freed from Vorka's torment as he joins his forbears in the great plains in the sky.
Combat Over
A vine-choked gangplank with a mossy handrail descends sharply from the ship’s bow to the muddy ground below. One handrail seems to be encrusted with a large ball of dried mud.
Climb DC10 to get up the plank.
| Reta B.B. |
mmmm. Smells delicious. Make sure we cut him up and bring him home to chief. He be happy I bring him food. Reta says as the horse lays dead.
Looking over the mudball, Reta easily climbs up. Take 10 for 11
GM Knight of the Green Lantern
|
With some effort Chuffy ascends the plank. Just as he pulls himself up the vines along the plank snap taut and the large ball of dried mud is knocked over. Reta hears an angry buzzing and her gaze follows the mud ball as it heads towards Poog and Mogmurch below her.
You can take 10. I will take the order of your post as the order you ascend the plank. Last to post needs to make a DC15 Reflex save to catch the mudball and set it down gently.
Mogmurch the Mad
|
Okay, retconning my action
Reluctant to be the one to catch the mudball but not wanting to be the target of Poog's fire bolts, Mogmurch reluctantly waits for his turn.

Mogmurch yelps as the wasps mercilessly sting him, but his armor thankfully protects him from much of the damage. His body isn't nearly as wounded as his pride...
