After playing with some of the fireworks and leaving a burning wreck of a ship you manage to hold yourselves back from using all of the fireworks in the chest as you remember that you were given some fireworks for this adventure. You return to the tribe triumphantly and a great feast was held in your honor. Great Chief Rendwattle Gutwad looks down upon the assembled tribe and nods to Slorb. Slorbs clears his throat and says:
Reta: Chief Gutwad names you Master of the Pig Pit.
Oh yes. I saw the 16 and didn't notice the +4. With a yell Reta lobs off Vorka's end thus ending the reign of the terror of the Licktongues. Combat over! Searching through the room you see some flimsy looking things that the longshanks would probably pay a lot for but you know burn good so they’re probably more fun to burn. Among the more obviously valuable objects are 140 gp, a bejeweled silver and jade lantern built to look like a coiled dragon worth 150 gp, a dozen masterwork shuriken, an ivory and gold fan depicting a gecko walking amid cherry blossoms worth 80 gp (the reverse side of this fan has been used by Vorka to draw a crude map of Brinestump, not unlike the one Scribbleface created, and contains a secret that the goblins are unlikely to decipher anytime soon), a long hairpin with a red pearl at one end worth 150 gp, a wand of create food and water with only 2 charges left, and an elixir of love in a crystal vial shaped like a heart (the vial itself is worth 50 gp). Paying them no mind you approach the red chest and find it unlocked and containing several fireworks(14 Desnan candles, 20 paper candles, and seven skyrockets), enough to satisfy the chief.
Vorka received a deep wound from Chuffy's attack though she is still able to dodge both Reta and Poog while drawing her scimitar and attacking Reta. Scimitar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Her mounting injuries make her miss Reta while focus on Reta allows Mogmurch to slip a blade pass her defenses. Round 6
I am not sure about a successful hit always do at least one point of damage. I would appreciate it if you could point me to where it says so. Drawing her scimitar provokes AOO from Reta, Mogmurch and Chuffy.
Vorka dodges Reta's attack but is hit by Poog's fireball, singeing the cannibal a bit more. Chuffy also manages to land a hit but does no damage. "Nice and tender are we? I can tell! I couldn't even feel a thing!" Vorka taunts Chuffy as she tosses another ball of flame at Mogmurch . melee touch: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
She dodges Mogmurch's own attack. Round 5
Reta slashes at Lord Longtung leaving a sizable wound on the giant frog's tongue.Lord Longtung -13hp Poog's flames leaves several burns on Vorka as she continues to cackle. "This one's spicy! You'll do well roasted little Licktongue!"
The wounds on its tongue force Lord Longtung to release Reta and he goes to bite the goblin in revenge.
Chuffy leaves a deep wound on the giant frog. Lord Longtung -19hp Vorka lights a Desnan candle and aims it at Poog. Ranged touch attack: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (20) - 4 = 16
Mogrush's attack finishes Lord Longtung and it drops in a bloody pile.
Reta's target is Vorka so I am assuming Poog threw the javelin at her. "I do so like it when my dinner has some fight in it." Vorka says as Poog's javelin leaves a scratch on the cannibal. Seeing its master under attack Lord Longtung uses its' tongue and tries to pull Reta away. Tongue(touch attack): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 If successful Reta moves one square closer to Lord Longtung and becomes flanked with Vorka. Lord Longtung is not grappled while using its' tongue to grab. Being occupied with with Reta Lord Longtung is caught when Chuffy sneaks up behind it and plunges his dagger in its' back. "You be nice and crispy!" Vorka says as she touches Reta with the flame on her left hand.
Mogmurch drinks and enters the room. Round 2
From among the nest of rags emerges one of the greatest terrors of the swamp, at least to the Licktoads, Vorka, a ravenous cannibal goblin who, legend tells, was once the wife of a Licktoad chieftain. She smiles, snaggletooth grin of mismatched teeth that leaves little doubt as to her preference for tough, stringy meat. Like goblin meat. She wears rags and bits of stained cloth—trophies harvested almost at random from her hapless victims, over her equally patchwork leather armor. "Oh look Lord Longtung! We have guests for dinner!" she says with a cackle as her left hand lights up with flame to a giant frog on the other side of the room. Chuffy's Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Combat begins! Round 1!
Chuffy finds the door unlocked and slowly opens the door. The air in this cabin is thick and close, stinking of swamp and sweat, with a thick, glistening layer of mud on the floor and swaths of oily fungus clinging to the walls. Even more dangling decorations of goblin bone and animal-part fetishes hang from the ceiling on lengths of sinew here, and what appears to be a nest made of rags, sticks, mud, and castoff bits of clothing lies against the westernmost wall. But scattered amid the filth and clutter are several exotic-looking man-made objects—including a tantalizing red chest.
Sorry. I didn't see the post with the 20. Reta slices Cuddles' head right off.
Searching the room you find an arm and a heart stewing in the cauldron and a bloody burlap sack containing what you recognize to be Scribbleface's remains. You have searched the whole ship and unless Vorka went hunting there is only one place left she could be at, the main cabin. You go back down to the main deck and stand before the door to the main cabin.
Loud barking greets you as soon as everyone enters the room from beside the pot.You see a hulking, rheumy-eyed, lumbering cur bigger than most goblins. You've heard of this dog before. They say Vorka is so terrifying she has even tamed a dog! This must be it! This must be Cuddles, Vorka's favorite pet. Unlike the two other dogs Vorka has this one so well trained it does not need a leash to your dismay as it jumps out to attack! Cuddles's init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Combat begins!
This room is a blood-splattered chamber of horror. Dead rodents, snakes, and birds have been variously nailed, tied, and hung around the walls. At the far end of the room, a large cauldron bubbles over an iron stove set against the aft wall, its stovepipe chimney extending up through the ceiling. A bloody burlap sack sits on the floor next to the stove. The center of the room contains a long, rickety table surrounded by chairs that contain several grisly decorations—a whole family of skeletal goblins, their bones bleached white and bound together by reeds and twine.

-----------------
Poog moves up the ladder to the upper deck to see a mangy hound tied to the central mast. It is barking and straining in the direction of the fighting down below. At the cleric's words the dog notices and starts trying to get at him instead. "FOOOOD! FOOOOOD! Come here food!" It is obviously half crazed of hunger as it tries to get at the cleric.
-----------------
Reta's strike misses as the dog dodges. From the previous attacks it looks like the dog is about to collapse.
Mogmurch lands a hit but his weakened state robs his blow of any force. Chuffy has more luck and draws blood with a small wound. It evades Reta but Poog's javelin strikes true and it almost skewers the dog end to end. The wound it receives bleeds freely. Maddened by its' wounds the dog barks loudly and attempts to take a bite out of Reta.
damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 From up above you hear another dog straining to break free.
Mogmurch's unsteady aim misses the dog and it breaks on the mast, coating the chain. Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Dog Init: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Combat begins! Round 1
The chain rattles as a scruffy mongrel with a crooked tail comes into view. Feral and half-starved it looks at you as if you would taste good with ketchup. The leash is short enough that the dog would not reach you from your current position but it is just long enough to reach the door.See lower map on slide 7 From up on the upper deck above you another dog starts barking.
The door to the cabin is on the other side of the deck. No traps on the door. I've added a map of the main deck to slide 7. Rounding the corner Chuffy spots a door and moves to inspect it. He is stopped by growling coming from the other side of the mast. Mogmurch notices some chain tied to the mast.
The main deck of the shipwreck is cluttered with objects both natural and artificial. Thick swaths of leafy vines grow over the deck, and shiny green patches of algae and moss grow where the vines do not. The central cabin's roof has a wide edge, creating a canopied walkway along the ship's sides. A flight of steps up to the roof of the ship's main cabin, the entrance to which is blocked by a door decorated by a large number of rodent and bird skulls. A smoking stovepipe chimney extends up from the ship's highest point above. You are now all on board. Slide 7 shows a side view of the boat and where you are right now.
With some effort Chuffy ascends the plank. Just as he pulls himself up the vines along the plank snap taut and the large ball of dried mud is knocked over. Reta hears an angry buzzing and her gaze follows the mud ball as it heads towards Poog and Mogmurch below her. You can take 10. I will take the order of your post as the order you ascend the plank. Last to post needs to make a DC15 Reflex save to catch the mudball and set it down gently.
Stomp almost looks relieved as Mogmurch's strike slides home and he falls down dead, freed from Vorka's torment as he joins his forbears in the great plains in the sky. Combat Over A vine-choked gangplank with a mossy handrail descends sharply from the ship’s bow to the muddy ground below. One handrail seems to be encrusted with a large ball of dried mud. Climb DC10 to get up the plank.
Chuffy's dart and Poog's javelin miss as Stomp dodges left then right but steps right into Mogmurch's alchemist fire. Undeterred Stomp closes in on Reta and it attempts to bash the fighter with its' hooves. Hoof 1: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 = 1
Reta dodges and returns with a belch of flames which the horse attempts to avoid. Stomp's Ref save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Stomp evades most of the flames but is now looking well done and the smell of cooking horse meat reaches the goblins' noses. Round 3
You enter the fenced in enclosure where the ship rests. A thick morass of mud greets you as you enter the fenced in area where the ship rests. Not seeing any other way to cross you shrug and proceed to wade through the mud. What's a little mud to a goblin? Just as you make your way through the mud a galloping sound reaches your ears. Sloshing in from the far side of the wreck comes filthy, dark gray stallion with a foul temper and it is looking at you! This is probably Vorka's pet horse, Stomp. Chuffy's Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Chuffy's Initiative Tie breaker: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Round 1
Stomp will take 1 round to get to your position if you want to do anything. You can also position your tokens before making any move actions.
The clearing indicated on Scribbleface’s map isn’t quite on the coast, but
A two-masted ship lies mired in the mud in this clearing, its rigging thick with moss and decorated with lanterns and wind chimes made from goblin skulls and bones. Strange writing is faintly visible along the ship’s prow, while the soggy, swampy “yard” that surrounds the wreck is encircled by a rickety wooden fence. A thin curl of smoke wafts up from a chimney that protrudes from an unusual box-like structure near the ship's bow. We are now on slide 6
