Sorry about that. It fell off my radar with life shifting again as we are relaxing our restrictions here in Tokyo.

I'm really sorry about the current delay.

I am really busy at the moment (I am a teacher and we are working on re-opening schools) and my son keeps on waking up at 5 in the morning. It's exhausting: I went to bed at 8pm on Monday.

Because of this, I am finding it really hard to read and digest a new rules system (which I then have to run in a non-standard way because of the encounter design) and get it rolling.

I might have some time on Wednesday.

No worries. It is understandable looking at that system. Gives us time to get a good grasp on it too and life happens. Hope things go smoothly with reopening school and with your sons sleep.

I just want you to double-check for me.

Your determination should be 5 as a minimum (the number of people in the party). If a single party member can beat that then you get that higher number instead. I don't think anyone can beat that determination.
Lydia's works out like this, I think: stat modifier average (+2+4-1/3) + hit dice (+3) = 5.3

If anyone has a higher determination, let me know.

Eka's determination is 5.0. Thank goodness there's a minimum of 0 when averaging the ability score modifiers!

Once the primary person, goes, I assume we can try to assist with whatever style they attempt?

This game has become stilted from the whole debate shambles so I wouldn’t worry. Let’s just get going again.

Eka has +3 to any Perform (but she's not comfortable with oratory because most folks are unnerved by her accent) for the DC 16 set and +3 to Bluff and +2 to Acrobatics for the DC 20 set. If no one else wants to helm something, she'll be happy to step up and try it. Just let me know which skill you guys would prefer.

Yulau is +8 to Bluff as well.

Could you let me know if you had wayang body modifications and decided to keep them?

Later, on a whim, she decides to get three black, spiky piercings along the ridge that runs down the center of her neck, right in the middle of the shifting patch of dark scales.

Eka got some piercings. Woo.

Is the scenario over? Asking because of an possibility of getting into another game with Eka, but I don't want to commit if we still have a ways to go.

You did a great job. That subsystem was a literal nightmare. The rest of the scenario was really good, I think. And you did wonderfully with it!

Chronicle looks good. Thanks for running this. I do like the balance of combat and skill checks in this scenario, though the debate part ought to be tweaked re-written to be easier to understand and play. You made a good call on how to handle that. Overall, I had fun. Good job!

Thanks for running this very unique scenario and "rolling with the punches" on such an intricate subsystem...definitely gave me some insight if I ever run it.

Yeah, when I re-read it I thought it was pretty neat and definitely in the spirit of the boon.
