The doorway to the east appears to be a storage room. This chamber is piled high with boxes, barrels, and crates. While most are partially empty, they do contain a wide variety of alchemical tools, reagents, and supplies that could be used to create a vast array of alchemical items.

The chamber to the north appears to be a laboratory. The doors open into a long chamber packed full of alchemical gear and experiments. Cauldrons stand next to tables where even now volatile mixtures are brewing and bubbling. A large furnace is opposite the door, just behind a long pool of water with a statue of a woman standing at its head. To the east, a passageway reveals a set of descending spiral stairs.

Four creatures, looking like larger homonculi without wings, are tending to this laboratory. They do menial work such as cleaning and dusting.

A note on the table indicates these items are intended for an address in the Chelish capital of Egorian.

I think you missed Screech's soothe in your status, Allania.

Merin goes into his bag and fishes out the healing elixir that he had, and hands it to Allania. "Think you can stomach this?" he asks as he does so.

I'm off the mind that we finish exploring upstairs before we take the stairs down. make sure that our back is safe.

And the vote for finish upstairs is what we got.

Travelling back towards the south, the Pathfinders find the door leading further is locked.
3 Thievery checks required, or you can try to break it.

The silver key retrieved from the orc's throne room seems to work on this door. The door swings open to reveal a well-appointed lounge. Off to one side, a pair of padded chairs sits in front of a fireplace lit with faintly glowing embers. Two bookcases flank the fireplace along the curved wall; they are filled with tomes, scrolls, and an assortment of odd and esoteric objects. Nearby, a staircase goes up to a second level, and a door stands partly open, leading into a kitchen.

Chewface looks ready to breeze by this room, but he does a cursory scan just in case. "Gotta be quick. Through the kitchen? Probably a dead end, with more of those homunculi. But either way it gets louder from here, and then they're already disposed of."

Searching the room finds that most of these belongings are of little to no value to the party, save for a book in the shelf. It is a ledger, containing all of Vilree’s business dealings over the years, including all of the deals with Bort. While most of these dealings were ordinary in nature, she did place orders for large amounts of certain reagents. In the past year in particular, her orders got larger and larger, including a number of vilesounding reagents such as corpse blood, essence of bile, and fester root.

GM Screen:

Allania Craft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

Screech is able to confirm that these ingredients would be used for deadly poisons and even crafting diseases.

A handful of diaries are also in this room. They detail the years after her mother, Silwyth’s, death, when she tried to survive in a town that shunned her. The diaries end on the five-year anniversary of Silwyth’s death, when Vilree decided to leave the town. She mentions that she found a new place to live and learn about her mother’s work: a series of caves deep in the forest north of town.

Loot:

Among the curios and mementos on the shelves is a silver locket that contains a small painting of young Vilree. The locket is worth 5 gp. In addition, there is a hand of the mage on one of the shelves, grasping a vial of lesser bravo’s brew.

"So what of this're we torching?" Chewface asks the most important goblin question. He injects a bit of logic right after and looks more sour for it. "She probably can't use it in a pinch, and maybe we could sell some."

Sounds like torching and going up the stairs is the party's choices. I am not sure if doing it in that order is advisable though.

The doors open to reveal a bedchamber with a large bed opposite the door, flanked by a desk and a dresser. The heady scent of lilac hangs heavy in the air, emanating from a cone of incense that is still smoking faintly.

Scouring through this room reveals a few interesting details. Firstly a bunch of letters from Hallod confirming the delivery of various shipments of alchemical reagents. Another piece of parchment contains a timeline of dates and notable occurrences. Near the bottom, it shows the date that Bort's caravan arrived in town.
Tied up loose end: Merchant.
The last reaction is in place.
Mother avenged.

In the closet is a chest that contains three sacks of coins and some alchemical elixirs.
53gp, 86sp, 416cp.
Four moderate alchemist fires, two lesser tanglefoot bags, and a moderate fire energy mutagen.

I think the adage 'Pillage, then Burn' applies here. We can finish our misadventure, then we can let the goblins perform their holy burning duties.

"Feel free, Gobil,"Merin responds, as he looks over the notes. "I'm not sure if we're too late, or in the nick of time, but either way, we have to finish this now. Vilree's not up here, so she must be downstairs. Let's go find her."
