Dotting in.
If it's alright, I'd like to make a couple of changes to my character:
I'd like to swap intimidation with deception and swap menacing with silver-tongued (it's the equivalent feat to menacing for deception).

@GM - what are your thoughts on the sap? 1d4 damage like the club?
Sap 1gp 1d4 2lbs Special
Once per turn, you can use this weapon to attempt a sapping attack if you have not made (and will not make) a sneak attack that turn. This can only be attempted while you are hidden from the target or the target is otherwise prevented from using reactions, such as during a round in which the target is surprised. If the sapping attack succeeds and the target is not reduced to 0 hit points, roll 2d6 + Str or Dex modifier to calculate a sapping number. If you have the Sneak Attack class feature, roll your Sneak Attack dice and add the result to your sapping number. If the number generated is equal to or higher than the target’s remaining hit points, the target gains the unconscious condition. Otherwise, the sapping roll has no effect. (Constructs, oozes, plants, and undead are immune to sapping.)

Had my RL game last night, and a particularly challenging few days at work, but I'm here
Do we have a bard?
What's our band's manager who books our gig called?
How long have we been together?
What's our band's name?
Who's our frontman/woman?
cheers

Trello is a task management app that gives you a visual overview of what is being worked on and who is working on it... you can add your own lists, adjust notes etc. It's used for project management but I have found it great for Games, particularly investigative one's like Waterdeep Dragon Heist. It's also free...
I've sent invites to three of you.

Roll20 and Trello link short cuts now available on Campaign Info Tab.
A note on customising weapons and armor to fit YOUR character choices.
At the end of the day stuff can be easily changed around to fit your concept – want to be a saber master but can’t find ‘Saber’ as a weapon? Not a problem – just use the scimitar stats and call it a saber. A longsword can just as easily be a ‘Katana’ (not that such a weapon exists in this campaign in any case) as it can be a knightly blade. Don’t want the armors as listed in the players handbooks because it doesn’t fit your ‘knightly’ image you have for your character? Not a problem – Splint mail? it’s now ‘Plate Mail’. Splint mail can even be ‘Bar Link’ or ‘Double Chain’ mail if you like the image of the mail clad knight. The stats stay the same… the ‘visuals’ are all on you. Some players like the image of leather plates rather than tattered hides, if so then your hide armor is polished and crafted leather plate, and not some random ox hide with holes cut in it.
Good luck adventurers... any further questions?

I stole these rules from another 5e player but let me simplify them.
Sapping:
Once per turn, you can use this weapon to attempt a sapping attack if you have not made (and will not make) a sneak attack that turn. This can only be attempted while you are hidden from the target or the target is otherwise prevented from using reactions, such as during a round in which the target is surprised. If the sapping attack succeeds and the target is not reduced to 0 hit points, the target makes a constitution saving throw vs 8 + attackers Str or Dex mod + proficiency mod. On a failure the target gains the unconscious condition. Otherwise, the sapping roll has no additional effect. (Constructs, oozes, plants, and undead are immune to sapping.)
If the attacker has the sneak attack feature then add 1 to the DC for each D6 of the sneak attack.
A sapping Attack deals non lethal damage.
A sapped creature regains consciousness after 1d4 x 10 minutes + 10 minutes for each die of sneak attack the attacker has or when it is healed for at least 1 hit point. At the DM’s discretion, other effects can also relieve this unconsciousness.

Signed up on Trello. Before I start reading things I'm not supposed to, are we able to look at any of the cards?
I'm liking the sap. Might be using that more often than I expected.

The bard typically dies, so we can say he/she died in the previous gig/adventure
GM, Can you put the links to Trello and Roll20 in your GM Helaman profile signature, so they show like character stats.
I nominate Vothe as frontman

Tonight I head out of town on business returning Saturday. I'll have limited time to post, and combat posts will be very difficult. Please bot me as necessary. Cheers

I'm asking all my folks to forgive me for a few days. I had a friend commit suicide this morning and I need some time to process this. I will be back in a day or three. In the meantime, if you or someone you know needs to talk, PLEASE call someone! Send me a private message if nothing else. I am always willing to listen and I promise that it will remain confidential!!
