Zoomer holds and holds and holds as Chetna closes on green, as she begins to veer away he fires the coil gun at point blank range.
Coil Gun on green: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 + 2 = 9 :(

Radokama 220629-702
|
Satisfied that the shields have been stabilized, Radokama takes a moment to monitor the course of the battle on a wall-mounted terminal. Seeing that the crew could use all the help the ships's computer could possibly offer, he boosts the priority of all combat subroutines in the processing queue and pauses all non-essential systems.
Round 3 Engineering Phase
Prioritize calculation (no check required, whoever uses the comouter bonus gets an additional +1)
| GM Wolffauer |
K'ssatak-Sul uses the scanners to predict the probable paths and ranges of the fighters and transfer that information to Monstruwacan.
Range Finding, +1 to Monstruwacan's attack
Zoomer targets the front of the fighter during the flyby and blasts away the shields before peppering the hull with bullets.

With the fighters disabled, you make your escape and return to Absalom Station without further incident.
Upon arriving at Absalom station, you return to the Lorespire Complex where Historia-7 eagerly awaits you. A team of Dataphiles data operatives take the stolen files and begin to decode and record their contents. Historia-7 seems almost pleased by your successful extraction of the data - a rare sight indeed.
“The mission is a success, and you are to be commended. All of you deserve some time to rest before your likely return to a more typical Society assignment.” Historia-7 speaks, momentarily pausing after making her declaration. The android’s eyes stare off past her data visor, as though she were contemplating some additional information. “Interesting… This data you’ve uncovered is… very… interesting. For now, I’ll ask you to depart. I need to summon Zigvigix of the Exo-Guardians. It appears one of his recent offers now aligns with what this data may require us to do. How… unfortunate.”
Later in the week you each receive a message from Envar. It is a digital invitation to his 24th birthday party, described as an all-inclusive trip to a pleasure yacht in high orbit over Verces, with a note, “Join me for an encore performance of our glorious victory!”
Congratulations on a successful mission! I will have chronicle sheets up later this week.
Monstruwacan

"Thank you, Historia-7, it was a p-pleasure to serve the society, and a honor to w-work with you all. See you around… well… yeah… bye".
The Monstruwacan awkwardly shakes hands and appendages before moving out. As he approaches the local public transportation, he starts checking his backlog of holovids that accumulated while he was away, a tiny smile on his face.
Other than a little bit of trouble with the elementals, we just tore through this scenario. Pretty good!

Later in the week you each receive a message from Envar. It is a digital invitation to his 24th birthday party, described as an all-inclusive trip to a pleasure yacht in high orbit over Verces, with a note, “Join me for an encore performance of our glorious victory!”
The Monstruwacan is laying low in his tiny one-room apartment, surrounded by film memorabilia and makeshift holoscreens, when he receives the invitation. "Huh. I guess our disguises didn't fool Envar Tamm after all", he thinks to himself. And starts looking into the price of a starship passage to Verces...

Many thanks for Gm-ing the game. and thanks to you all its been a great game hope to catch you all soon.
Zoomer packs up his gear and travels back to the space port. Moving behind a stack of cargo he takes out his tool kit and removes a hatch. Climbing inside he beds himself down on some packing material.
Wonder where they will send me next.
Radokama 220629-702
|
After the battle, Radokama surveys the engine room. Extra power cables crisscross the room between discarded schematics, circuit diagrams, and spent fuses. Coolant pipes have been patched with ion tape, and the power core flashes warning signs across the board. "Guess is time to clean up," he says to nobody in particular.
--
The ship is in good repair by the time it arrives back at Absalom Station, and has a note taped to the bridge listing materials needed for final repairs. Radokama seems almost reluctant to leave, but goes with the others to the debriefing anyways.
After the group turns over the hard-won data to Historia-7, Radokama feels a tension lift that he hadn't realized was there since the party first departed. He grins at Chetna and Monstruwacan and says, "Razor and Envar might or might not know who we are. Might or might not find out. But was no personas we used; when fought crest eater was real deal."
He gestures at the group as a whole, "If ever need backup in gladiator fight to death again, will come to you all first. Can think of no others would rather fight alongside."
