The GM is over it with clouds as well. I updated the map.
This small chamber is quite cold. Within are five corroded metal bunk beds covered with a layer of frost. One the bunks lie the frozen corpses of humans in robes of red and white, clutching necklaces or holy symbols in their hands.
| GM Netherpongo |
Professor Kaldosian's magic detection reveals that the cold is being magically generated. It seems likely that the low temperatures were being used for preservation.
Toshiro's examination of the bodies shows that they were likely priests and priestesses of various faiths, all of whom show signs of ritual sacrifice.
The door leading northward opens back to the corridors with the loop traps.
Skipped over a few minor steps. Unless you want to do something else, line back up at the back in the statue room and I'll try to get up a post for door-opening later tonight.

Do we feel like we've thoroughly explored the room with the bodies? If so, Otto is ready to go on to the next room.
| GM Netherpongo |
I moved us along for the sake of time. If you feel like you would have searched thoroughly, we'll take one minute off spell durations and one more for the cephalophore fight & spell detection stuff.
A large stone sarcophagus rests atop a raised dais in the center of this room. The air is filled with the smell of decay. The chamber is filled with greenish smoke, bones litter the floor and the walls are carved into laughing, horned devil faces--each belching greenish smoke and swarms of hellish insects. The room buzzes and rattles and stinks.
Before anything else happens, you are affected by two fear effects: go ahead and make those saving throws. If you have any other modifiers you think might be relevant, go ahead and say so. After that, we'll get into initiative.
Two bearded devils holding glaives stand ready to protect a bog mummy before you. I could write out the knowledge spoilers, but I lost interest & you guys have good knowledge checks.

I can't fail the perception check and I'd take 10 on both knowledge checks for 31 planes and 30 religion. Everyone should be to see my flag and thus get a +2 morale bonus on saving throws vs fear for the save. If the fear is mind affecting (most are), Deno'thar would get a saving throw against it each round if he failed. Furthermore, if it mind affecting, Deno'thar gives everyone a +2 resistance bonus on the saving throw (although I'd hope at this level everyone would have better than that already)

A sickly, cloying miasma assaults the area about you as the hell-mouths inside the mummy's chamber howl in a frantic mix of pain and delight. The spell energies seem to linger in the air.

Oh, sorry, I didn't notice that she was up (I'm used to her going on Otto's initiative). Yes, she will delay.
Also, I'm not sure if you are listing damage in the initiative order, but if you are I believe that each of the bad guys would have also taken 12 damage from Otto's Searing Light spell, unless they are not evil.

Otto: Allison has been delaying, so we can put her on your initiative now. Also, the damage from your spell has been recorded.

Chomper attacks Toshrio twice, but its first glaive is deflected by Deno'thar's flashing spear. The second strike manages to find its way past their combined defenses. A natural 20 is the only thing that saved the attack. The confirmation failed. Toshiro takes 7 damage and suffers from 2 bleed from an infernal wound. Healing the damage takes a DC 16 caster level check.
Yarrix steps back to take cover behind her devil minion and begins casting another spell. A crackling bolt of darkness streaks out from Yarrix's unholy symbol to hit the samurai in the chest. Touch AC 26. I'm not sure that Deno'thar can Bodyguard on this one since Yarrix has cover from her devil, and Toshiro's assisted touch looks like 23 anyway. Toshiro takes 16 damage and is sickened. A Will save halves the damage and negates sickened.

Coreleus shoots Yarrix three times, his arrows flaring with holy energy as they strike the mummy. Her sturdy frame seems nevertheless resistant to his fire. I'm assuming that the 4d6 on your shots includes the evil damage. Yarrix is getting some of the standard no-bypass DR mummys have.

Deno'thar's sonic attack combined with Toshiro's swordplay finally dispatch the ancient mummy, as it collapses in a heap of necrotic flesh. A short time later, the room seems to revert to what must be its true appearance, losing its hellish characteristics.
As you search the remainder of the room, you locate a magical staff and a battered journal that contains a drawing of an Emerald Spire level sigil. The journal labels the sigil in both Aklo and Azlanti.
I've updated the map and rotated it to get a better angle for us. The next room carries no appreciable threat for the party, so feel free to move your characters along. Let's take 2 more minutes off spell durations for the last combat and moving through the next room.
This irregular hexagonal chamber has a sloping floor that rises from its lower northern entrance to its higher southern landing. The floor is carved with a pattern of shallow grooves that fan out to snake across the sloping portion of the floor. Two pillars stand about 20 feet from the northern door.
At the top of the sloping chamber, just past the two pillars, is a small landing. In the western wall of this landing stands a bronze door inscribed with runes of warding and protection. Lead and wax seals lie broken on the floor before the door.
As you progress down the slope of grooves, Professor Kaldosian locates a trap on the far door.
